We arrived just as lunch rush was starting and the servers were very nice and our food was served promptly. Also the bathrooms were very clean. The parking can be a little tight to maneuver because of the drive thru lane. We didnt see any highchairs for our little one, so be prepared for sitting in a booth if you have kids.

Ordered the same thing for the kids, and the same burger for both adults - one as a meal and one just the burger. 20 mins go by and it turns out our ticket just got .. lost? So we waited with two hungry kids for 20 mins before they even started making our food. Food comes, and my burger is wrong. I go up, tell them, and walk away thinking they were going to fix it. Another 10 mins and someone comes to our table asking if we were still wanting the burger we actually ordered and that we need to pay a dollar something for it. At this point, it's been 35 mins since we ordered and I still don't have the burger I asked for in front of me. The person "helping" us argued that nothing was their fault, they must have read the order back and I didn't correct them (we order two of the same burgers!) so I'd need to pay (not the issue, it's like $1) and wait some more for the right burger. I gave up and ate my by-thay-point cold burger. Honestly, this could have been so easily fixed. We were fine with our order being forgotten and I would have happily exchanged the burger I got for the one I ordered. There wasn't even an attempt to make up for the forgotten meal - instead they made it worse.

The burger was tasty, albeit a bit of an adjustment for me since I'm still warming up to blue cheese. The only downside was that the bacon tasted a bit too meaty (if that makes sense) and one of the pieces had a part that couldn't be chewed in it. Regardless, it's a solid burger and I'm excited to go back and try another one! They do not serve beer/alcohol here anymore and have converted the old beer tap to a root beer tap. Recently I bought burgers at Billie's for a guest who is not from the area and lives in South King County. He had the Texan and couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was and that he hasn't found a great burger place until now. In fact, he contacted me later in the day for the restaurant name so he could purchase and deliver one for his girlfriend. The customer service is very positive and welcoming and one rarely waits long for take out. We highly recommend Billie's for anyone interested in a great burger in the Mukilteo area.
