So the store was very clean. All tables were wiped down. The staff were attentive and polite. The food wasn't too bad. I purchased a lettuce wrap bacon burger with extra pickles. My bacon missing at first, then it was not cooked. So I returned it. After the 3ed time the bacon was cooked. There was way too much lettuce on the burger. It was kind of in the way. But since they use buns that have dairy in them and I didn't want a gluten burger, lettuce was my only option. The burger turned out pretty good. The drink I got tasted like water. He had very little flavor. I was expecting a fruit flavor. Not flavored water. Went to wash my hands in the bathroom and there was no soap. I asked it they could replace the soap and they did so immediately. I do appreciate the staffs polite attitudes when I asked questions or maid a complaint. I may try again. read more

Tried the new lettuce wrapped bacon avocado burger today. It was excellent. As someone who must avoid gluten this really hit the spot. Yes it's pricey ($21 for the combo meal) but at least you get a quality meal. Will be back! read more

First time at a Shake Shack, had the Spicy Bacon Burger. Cook well done and kinda crunchy. Decent size almost as big as five guy's burgers. Crinkled cut fries were crispy and hot, shake was thick and almost busted a brain cell getting it thru the straw. Overall nice experience, staff friendly and courteous. read more

We came on a Monday night and it wasn't busy, so we got our food pretty quickly. We tried the black truffle burger, black truffle Parmesan fries, avocado bacon burger, and the Thai iced tea shake. The burgers were great and the black truffle sauce complimented the fries perfectly - we went back later in the week to get them again. The shake was pretty sweet. Staff were very friendly. On our drive up to NYC from Richmond, we stopped at this Baltimore Shake Shack for a quick bite to eat. We were a group of four and are all fans of Shake Shack. If you order at the kiosk, be sure to enter a number that is available, you'll find them next to the kiosks, this is how they bring your food. For this visit, I ordered the ShackBurger and a nondairy chocolate milkshake. I adore that they now have these available because they don't hurt my tummy. The burger and shake were perfect for a road trip stop. There was a lot of seating available inside. They have women and men restrooms. The women's was clean and had two stalls. We had an easy time finding parking because this was in a strip mall. There were a lot of other food options available around it. I'd recommend visiting this Shake Shack. read more

Eh......... I guess I just expected MORE. I saw that they had a 'mushroom' burger and instantly wanted to try it. That's probably why I was a bit disappointed, because the anticipation had built WAY up! I even Googled reviews of the 'White Truffle Shroom Burger' and saw that gooey cheese! I couldn't wait. So, I finally pulled the trigger and visited the new, shiny Shake Shack in Canton. I actually had to wait quite a bit in the drive through. I assumed that meant they were making it from scratch! WIN! It's been awhile since I've had shake shack, but since I found out about it opening in canton, I knew I had to visit. Glad I did! Upon entering, it's super spacious inside with multiple seating. There are kiosks where you can self order with ease, and upon check out you can pick up a number so a team member can bring out your order to you. Wasn't too busy on a 6pm Saturday, but I could tell there were many orders coming in through drive thru and online pick up. We sat and it was fairly clean looking around. Order came out not too long after. We ordered the shake stack, white truffle burger, truffle fries, cheese fries, and a dreamsicle cause why not! The burgers were subpar for a typical burger joint. Couldn't taste much truffle in the burger though. I loved that the truffle fries came with truffle cream! I ate that with the burger and it made it 10x better. For the dreamsicle, couldn't really taste the orange too much. It tasted more like a vanilla custard shake. Overall, for a standard fast food burger restaurant with decent and fairly quick service in Baltimore, can't complain. Great addition to Canton! read more

This Shack Shack has awesomeness because it has plenty of available seating, a parking lot and a drive through. Quite the trifecta for a Shake Shack. The burgers are tasty, but eat them while they are fresh and warm, and obviously the same goes for the fries. The food is not super fast, but it is make fresh. The staff have been super pleasant at this location. The interior and small outside dining is always clean and comfortable. Get the app so you can take advantage of any promos! This is one of my favorite burger companies hands down. Yes the burger is generally smaller, and yes it costs more but the texture and flavor is different and good, definitely not generic. I tried the truffle fries and I loved this flavor addition I hope it never leaves. I did a shack burger and added pickle and onions, if I'm to be honest it tastes better without you adding it, and I love these things. Just went through the drive through and they made me wait for like 30 extra minutes. When they did bring out the order it was completely wrong and it felt like they were mocking me. I went back in to tell them my order was wrong and they all looked around confused and didn't want to give me the correct bag fortunately one of the employees had to convince the others to hand me the right order. Everybody rants about shake shack so I decided to try it. It was easy enough to drive up and walk in. I had to place my order at the kiosk which I don't prefer but the process was not complicated so no complaints. I sat down and hung out in the lobby until I got my text that my food was ready like 10 minutes later. I wasn't in a rush so 10 minutes wasn't too crazy. I strolled over and grabbed my food. Staff greeted me and told me they had already put napkins in my bag and pointed me the direction of the cutlery. I grabbed a straw and headed out. The burger had what I asked for on it and I had no complaints except the price. The burger was really small for what I paid. I didn't really see anything special about it. My milkshake was too thick for the straws they provide so that made it a little difficult to drink. Overall, there was nothing wrong with the food or the service, I just wasn't impressed. There are several other options for a great burger nearby for a smaller price so I'll probably stick to those. read more

On a never-ending quest for the best chicken sandwich, I ordered the Chicken Shake with a side of fries and a shake (chocolate/vanilla mix). A right good chicken sandwich. Filet was a little on the small side but nicely breaded, fried, and pickled. The fries were really good. And the shake? Well, let's just say I'm glad I'm not closer. Nice creamy custard. I had the pleasure of driving through during their pre-opening Friends & Family event, so I thought everything would be super perfect. I had been waiting for this location to open! Shake Shake AND drive-thru! I marveled at the double-lane drive-thru technology and ordered my usual: shake, avocado bacon burger, and cheese fries. When I got home, all was delicious EXCEPT the fries. They were soggy in a puddle of cold cheese sauce (I live nearby so it wasn't a long ride home) and I, in fact, did not finished the mealy ones at the bottom of the container. So, sad for that. I much prefer when the cheese sauce is in a separate container to avoid soggy fries, but then you usually don't get enough cheese. Bigger condiment containers, Shake Shack? Figure it out. Baltimore has good food, so why would anyone eat here? My stomach has been hurting for days since my meal at the Shack Shack of Canton. Everything had a bitter taste, which I assume is from the oil used to cook everything. I don't know how a fast food restaurant like this can make enough money long term and survive, knowing the bombshell food options just a step away. Their regular burger with cheese tastes very much like the burnt crispies people try to get on top of actual hamburger patties. The lettuce was also soggy and clearly unfresh/chewy/no crunch. I usually get a meat sweat from hamburgers but not Shake Shack burgers. The breading on the chicken nuggets was very greasy. I know it's supposed to be chicken, but it doesn't have the taste or texture of actual chicken. Just go to Chic-fil-A, please. I have not suffered in vain. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered from here tonight and got delivery. The delivery never arrived and you cannot get a hold of a live person at the restaurant to rectify the order. How do you not have phone support when you are delivering orders, things happen and you need to be available to customers rather than stealing their money. Now I have to place another order and flag this as a fraudulent charge with my bank because Shake Shack steals from its customers. Visited the Canton location of one of our favorite semi-fast food places, but left disappointed both in the food and service. I won't complain here about the prices ($45+ for 2 meals plus an extra burger - no alcohol) since it's hitting all restaurants these days. We arrived a little after 5 PM and the place was pretty empty (I should have taken this as a bad sign) so was surprised about how long it took for our order to arrive, especially with what looked like a fully manned shop with folks who seemed more interested in joking around with each other than making our food. When the food came, both of our French fries were cold. When we sent them back, the food delivery person told us they were sitting on the shelf for a long time and was surprised they still served them to us, especially since one was topped with cheese that ended up turning into yellow glue. Next, my wife's burger was undercooked (mine was fine) and when she asked for helped, the manager tried to pass it off as medium (pink and cold is undercooked- not medium) and told her she should have ordered it well done? Eventually she replaced the burger. Overall - worst shake shack experience to date, and for $45 (sorry, guess I am going to complain about the prices) we could have had a much better sit down meal elsewhere. read more

I was very excited to try shake shack for my very first time, I came all the way from York PA to try this establishment. I went into the drive through and place my order for a DBL ShackBurger and I waited about 5-6 for my order in the mean time I observed a cashier with red hair using a cleaning product to clean behind the drink machines and her station, after about two more minutes of cleaning a girl with a black ponytail put my order on a table next to the drive through window, the cashier with the red hair, with the same glove with sanitary products turns immediately around from cleaning and grabs a hand full of napkins and shoves them into my bag and comes to the window to hand me the bag. I immediately told her that she needs to remake my order, which she replied, "why" I explained to her that you just used cleaning products and touched my food and did not change your gloves. She then walks to her manager. She comes back up to the window and tells me to park, which I replied "why" she said because we have other car's behind you that have to be served. I left the drive through and pulled into an immediate spot, not even 1 full minute I'm approached by a manager holding what looked like the same bag, I asked her is that for me? And she replied "yes" I said well I want a brand new one and I'll wait for it after about 3 minutes going back in forth about simply making my burger in front of customers in the parking lot, I asked the manager for my money back. I also asked for the name of the girl with the red hair and the name of the manager and I was refused both and not even spoken to or acknowledged when asking the manager questions. We always order online. Only had a couple of problems but that was with the app not with the store itself. That said whenever we pick up it's ready to go and the place is really busy. Drive thru line is busy so it's slow but they try really hard to keep it moving. The food is amazing, my husband is addicted. And every time we do manage to place an order(for a while the app wouldn't take any cards we tried to use to pay) they have always gotten it right. I am really weird with sauces so that's impressive. It's a little more expensive than average burger joint especially if you want sides with your burger, but the burger itself is really good. I go there when I just want a good burger not necessarily a lot of fries or icecream. read more

I typically eat at relatively few chain restaurants. But I was thrilled when a shake shack was arriving and waited patiently for it to open. I finally got the chance to go today. We ordered the shroom burger as well as the hot ones burger with bacon cheese fries. The drive thru line was short for lunch time. At the window we were offered a free burger and fries which we of course accepted. Not sure why because we didn't wait long at all and I our food came out perfectly! But it certainly made my day. How is this the worst Shake Shack in Maryland and it hasn't been open a year yet. Twice I have came here to get food in the drive thru and both times they did not put my burgers or fries in containers, instead they left the burgers in the wrapper and put the fries in an open tray, and placed napkins on top of my exposed food. The napkins were covered with cheese sauce from the fries which left more cheese sauce on the napkins than on the fries. To add insult to injury, when I asked why this ha, the girl working the drive thru did not apologize but offered me some burger boxes. Well duh, I'm not eating at the restaurant, this place literally has take out containers for this purpose. Also both times my orders were messed up or missing something. Actually awful. Took forever with only 1 car infront of me. Fries take like freezer burned baked trash. Burger was even more disappointing. Better off getting a burger from some shitty concessions stand. Will probably be way way cheaper for same quality of food. $22 for a sungle cheese burger a fry and a shake. Actually a rip off. This is the First time I ate Shake Shack's food. Had Shake Shack bacon cheese burger, regular fries and coke. It was a soft opening (grand opening is Wednesday 12/14/22) for this new Canton location. I like going to drive thru then taking food home to enjoy. Apparently it is 1st drive thru they have in surrounding area. Thought might have long lines, and it wasn't with two order points. Placed order (no mumbling speakers), then moved forward into merge to pick-up window. About 6 cars ahead of me. Wait time was reasonable. Coke was cold and food hot. Burger looked good and tasted even better. Roll soft, burger tasted broiled, melted cheese and smokey bacon with tasty sauce. Yes, it was good! Crispy crinkle fries well salted (I love that). I now know why some friends have raved about Shake Shack. It will be interesting to see how they will handle traffic when word gets out about this new location. Good luck...I'll be back. read more
