Lines have improved, the speed and service is about the same before as they make the burgers fresh and the fries were better this time. Seating was a bit warm, though, with all the train lines exhaust, etc. it gets warm here quickly and not a lot of AC around. You can order on the app, too, and pick up.

Burger and a beer! Lifes real pleasure.

I love that there is a collaboration between SHAKE SHACK AND THE WNBA NY Liberty, but as promised, when a team misses two in the 4th quarter, ticket holders get a free burger. On a long line, I do not expect to be questioned on the policy and ask for my ticket when I am showing you the email: it clearly stayes either or. I do not have time to fumble with my cell phone tryng to fund yesterday's ticket. Look at me and I am dressed from head to toe in Liberty gear. While the y honored it I felt shamed when someone had to come out to approve this.

We had 15-minutes to spare before our train would depart beautiful Grand Central Terminal. A quick jaunt down the escalator brought me to the food court, which offers a plethora of dining choices. Typically there is a long line at one of the most popular spots, the Shake Shack. However, we were traveling at a slow time, late morning, and there was nobody in line, so I placed an order for two cheeseburgers with a side of fries. My order was ready in six minutes, the burgers were good, hot, cheesy and tasty. The fries were excellent, crispy and hot. Considering this is a fast food venue, I'd provide a four-star rating for this visit.

Never have I ever seen such a badly assembled burger! It's almost comedic! More than half of my patty is hanging out of my burger and the cheese had solidified, preventing me from rearranging it. What is shown in the picture was thrown into a brown paper bag, and I could see the oil seeping through the bottom of it because the burger was resting at the bottom. The white paper holding the burger didn't do anything to prevent my hands from getting oily as well. My friend's burger was also similarly lopsided too. Taste-wise, it was okay and service was fast, which is why we chose to eat here. Grand central terminal was gorgeous, seating is very hard to find so we stood up for our meal. Water is not available -- they gave me a cup to fill up at the public water fountain and it's not very hygienic.

Excellent service RAY ! He's the gladiator, great guy !! Delicious burgers, shakes & fries !

Very busy Shake Shack on the dining concourse level at Grand Central. The way to order here is by app or at their tablets, and even though it gets crowded, it doesn't take that long for most orders to be ready (only 5 minutes on our last visit). The hot dogs, fries, and chicken bites we got were about the same as every other Shake Shack, maybe just a little greasier than usual. There is limited seating in the Shake Shack area, but there are standing tables elsewhere on the concourse. Not as comfortable as eating at a standalone Shake Shack, but sometimes this location is just more convenient.

Review is strictly on their milkshake I was in Grand Central and I was somewhat thirsty. I thought to myself actually I have never had Shake Shack's milkshake before. I heard that their milkshake is one of their popular items and is where it all started hence the name Shake Shack. So I decided to give it a try. I ordered the strawberry shake. It was was better than many fast food place like McD or BK but to me it was ok. Their milkshake was filling. The flavor options here are limited. I like that they are located in Grand Central. Service was good. I came when it was slow (around 2:30 pm) and so there was no huge line up. There are a few tables or seats to sit and eat your food.

It's a shake shack, and it's inarguably the best food in grand central so I always pay it a visit when I'm traveling between New York and Connecticut. As with every shake shack, I think it's ridiculously overpriced: a double burger and fries will run you $15 after tax, which imo is absurd for glorified fast food. The other thing it's not? Fast. The number of times I've been sent into a panic at this shake shack staring at the clock needing to run to a train is insane. With that said, the employees do their best, it's just a lot of volume. The food is no better and no worse than any other shake shack, but across the board I find them to be underwhelming. The fries are meh, the burgers are good but there are certainly better smash burgers in nyc, and I recently just tried the chicken nuggets which I thought were very average. Could have been a lot crispier and better seasoned. Overall I'll be back due to convenience but shake shack has definitely lost its novelty.

I came here yesterday for lunch and it was a really good solid lunch. My burger was done well it was the right temperature and tasted fresh.I also ordered the Parmesan truffle fries which were also hot and crispy. I do not think the wait was very long. They had an employee helping to move the line along and I will definite come back. The only problem I would say is the limited seating but it is Grand Central Terminal so it is expected.

There are different types of cold treats: gelatos and more slushie like consistency frozen confections that are served in a cup. My vegan friend appreciated that he could choose from multiple vegan flavors, not just be limited to the one and only offering, which is what most places usually have. Melon flavor was incredible. Tasted like frozen melon was crushed with ice and chopped into an ice/smoothie blend. Super refreshing. Very sweet, though. All flavors are very sweet, so a small portion can be shared and you will feel satisfied. I personally enjoyed their in-house special flavor of gelato: honey cream with crushed almonds, pistachios, and hazelnuts. That was bombastic! Love how nutty the consistency was. I love nuts, so this almost reminded me of a chunky peanut butter situation: just more fine grained and smooth, with gelato being the base. Highly recommend trying this flavor! Focacia was okay. A bit too dry and bland for my liking, but still decent. My favorite item was the pistachio bombolone which is officially now my favorite dessert. This was magnificent! The yeasty dough was so light and airy--perfectly light and balanced. The filling of pistachio cream was very delicate and not sweet at all, which was such a nice surprise. I do not like saccharine dessert. The fresh raspberry jam was a perfect balance to the pistachio cream. I never like jams in my desserts, but this was a perfect complement. Woooow, what a treat! Can't wait to return for it and to try more of their other flavors--hazelnut & chocolate, coconut, white chocolate, tiramisu. You could taste the superb quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend.

Don't remember what I had the previous 20+ years I went there after a group dinner. This time I was influenced & specifically took a bus over for their corn ice cream. It's STILL the summer of corn. Prices are now average - good for a scoop $7.50 & the portion is good compared to other craft ice cream shops in LES. The corn flavor was good. Medium flavor with that corn sweetness. The quality of the ice cream was excellent, medium creamy & very smooth with the teeniest bit of corn blended. Sampled the hazelnut which was great also - like a thick gelato. Would like to try the lychee next time. They have probably 20 different flavors, displayed well. The staff is patient & very nice. The space is very big for a business in the East Village with mostly a waiting area. 4-5 seats are up front & they set up a few plastic chairs on the side. On a 90°F day, the shop was filled with customers & groups. A stantion at the door with directions for 2 lines would help manage things better.
