    fries and lemonade

the food here is as good as any shake shack but you will have to fight someone for seating. the place is packed and there are about 10 tables so it makes for a lot of people standing around with food waiting to sit down. it's a nice place but it's better suited for takeout

What's there not to love about Shake Shack? You can't go wrong with a Shackburger, fries, and a shake. I've been to a lot of Shake Shacks and this one was one of the nicest ones I've been to. It is located inside the mall near Columbus Circle. The seated is a little limited for a busy lunch crowd. The inside of the restaurant was clean. The service was quick and the food came out fresh and hot. I had their Shackburger. The potato bun was soft. The burger had great flavor with their shack sauce. I shared a serving of fries and also split a strawberry shake. The fries were piping hot and slightly crispy so they were extra tasty. This was my first time having the strawberry shake. The strawberry shake was creamy and refreshing. My visit to this Shake Shack was awesome. Great location and delicious food!

We ordered double cheeseburgers with shake shack sauce (YUM), fries, and a strawberry lemonade 50/50. Great lunch meal and very satisfying! You can customize the burger. Credit Only - order on the kisok and they call your name when it's ready. There is a decent amount of seating. Located on the third floor of Columbus circle mall.

Vanilla Milkshake, Regular Fries, Single Shack Burger

I went here yesterday for dinner before my stroll around Central Park. I ordered my food ahead of time, picked it up, and ate inside. The staff were friendly, the ambiance was nice & clean. I was able to find a table to eat my food. I got the single shack burger, regular fries, and the vanilla milkshake. My only complaint was that the bun on the burger was ripped on the side and the fries were kind of dry. Other than that I would give Shake Shack another try

4.5 Honestly, surprised no one has reviewed this location yet as they've been open for a bit. Located inside the Columbus Circle building on the 2nd floor, this is one of the nicer Shake Shacks in Manhattan. It's not very large with only a few tables but it is pristine and was hardly ever busy the few times I went after work. You can order at kiosks to the left of the entrance or at the counter. They had staff greeting customers, helping at the kiosks, delivering food at the tables and cleaning up. It was great. There were even staff walking around checking in on diners. During my last visit, I ordered the Black Truffle Burger, Truffle Fries and small soda. The burger had Gruyere cheese, truffle sauce and crispy fried onions. I loved the crispy fried onions which gave the burger that nice crunchy texture. The truffle sauce smelled heavenly and was not too overpowering. The fries were perfectly fried, topped with cheese and came with a side of truffle mayo. The truffle mayo was really addicting, and I dunked both my fries and burger in it as I ate. So good! It's nice eating at this location as it (usually) isn't overcrowded, providing a more comfortable setting to enjoy a burger and fries after a long day. For me, the cleanliness, proactive staff and the atmosphere really added to the overall dining experience.

Okay, I finally tried the Dubai Shake Shack shake after three failed attempts at other locations. Here's the problem: it's actually sooo good!!! The pistachio and knafeh is perfect with the crackling chocolate shell. It was worth being at Columbus circle by 9:45am! Super clean store front and the workers were just as excited for me to try it. Please note that this shake is at very limited locations and only 25 a day, so come early!

Ordered to-go and... yikes. Worst hotdog ever Totally didn't look anything like the one in the picture

The other day, I stopped into the new Shake Shack at Columbus Circle, to check it out. I frequently shop at the Whole Foods (on the ground floor), so the idea of a Shake Shack nearby - on the second floor - was definitely a joyful one! And it turned out to be even better than I thought it would be! Yay! The staff was nice, the place was clean, the line was reasonable and the food was delicious. I ordered a Veggie Shack plus French fries, and everything tasted fresh and on point. My only complaint was that the music could have been a little softer; yet - to be fair - I'm sensitive to sound, so maybe it was just me. I didn't bring it up, as others around me didn't seem bothered by it. If you find yourself hungry after an afternoon of walking in Central Park or an evening of shopping at Whole Foods, then come upstairs for a delightful treat. : ) My Best, Kat

With…read moreno interest in cooking, I remember becoming a semi-regular at the Gray's Papaya located at 6th Ave and 8th St and always ordering the Recession Special: two dogs loaded with onions and a papaya drink. It wasn't the best quality frankfurter, but somehow it worked with my indiscriminate palette. Flash forward a century or so, and this is the only Gray's Papaya left in the city. Since I'm a survivor, I thought it only appropriate to take Jamie to the original flagship location and order what else but the Recession Special. Sure enough, they still offer it for $7.50. It was $1.95 when I was a child, but it's still a good deal consisting of 2 Hot Dogs (Photo 10) and a Medium Papaya Drink (Photo 9). The franks were the same as I recall, nothing special but if you add onions and pay an extra 75 cents for the chili, it just works. The papaya drink is not a fruit juice but a puree mixed with sugar and milk. It actually complements the dog in a guilty pleasure kind of way. There was a line but it moved fast. Plenty of room at the red mini-counter, so I was able to relive my youthful dining dalliance with little effort. The tots were a nice side to pair with your meal. There's nothing like some hot dogs and burgers before/after drinking, so it's a smart pairing being next to all the bars. The crif is pork and beef, New Yorker (all beef) and veggie option. I did a New Yorker (all beef) $4.75 with sauerkraut ($0.75) and the Spicy Redneck which featured a bacon wrapped crif dog with chili, coleslaw and picked jalapeños. Both satisfied the hot dog craving I had. There are also tater tots and burgers available. The bread was a bit stale, hence the 3 stars and the bun split on my New Yorker making it messy to eat. The woman behind the counter was friendly and suggested I try the dog featured this month- featuring a fried pickle or the Tsunami which has teriyaki sauce and pineapples. I would stop here again if in the area, but for basic dog a cart will hit the spot.
