We stopped here after spending some time at Red Bug Lake Park and despite a good sized crowd, we were seated and the servers remained friendly and upbeat. Keke's Breakfast Cafe has a pleasant ambiance. I remember once upon a time when dining out for breakfast, the normal option was the greasy spoon restaurant. I have to say that I am happy that we shifted to having more upscale restaurant options. I went with an omelet and was pleased and would definitely recommend an omelet. Listen, I've been coming to this location before it was even a Keke's! Anytime I walk in here I get very nostalgic of coming here late at night when it was a Denny's so I appreciate that they've given it a facelift but kept the general diner aesthetic. I come here often and my favorite favorite thing is their silver dollar pancakes! They have consistently been amazing. The service is always really great. I've not had bad service one time. I hadn't been to a Kiki's breakfast cafe in years. But thanks to the YELP event I attended last year. I fell in love with. They're Philly omelette So 1 day I was craving some breakfast, and I decided to stop in it was a little later in the morning, so the place was not packed. I was greeted at the counter by the hostess. We were taken to our table and we were offered our beverages. Of course, I ordered the Philly omelette and it was as delicious as the first time I had it. The service was great and made sure we were taken care of we had our water and beverages. We never ran out of condiments. For me, it was a delicious breakfast stop. All I have to say is wow! This was my first time at Keke's as I'm still fairly new to moving back to Florida but I've always heard this place was good. I had the waffles and strawberries with whip cream. It came out looking like a cake! I ate every bite it was so delicious. I also had the bacon and home fries which were both made perfectly. The bacon was fully cooked yet not too crispy which is the way I love it! The home fries were soft and tasty. The restaurant was clean and the service was great! I will definitely be going back when I'm in need of a good breakfast and don't feel like cooking. I really have no complaints except for it being super cold inside but that's everywhere just bring your sweater with you lol. Weekday meant easy parking and the restaurant had many tables full, but no wait to sit. Ordered quickly a mix of breakfast and lunch meals. Everything was quick and delicious. It's a little pricy for very small portion sizes, but I know we'll be back. It's so yummy. read more

Keke's is average American cuisine. We came for breakfast and when I say average, I mean AVERAGE. Okay, not great, but a step above meh, but just barely a step. The service was great which is what pushed my review up to 3 stars, but to be honest this was not a meal I would write home about. And I will soon forget Keke's once this experience is behind me. To start with the positives, the best part of the meal was the bacon which was a side and the Omelet. The pumpkin pancakes were okay. The hash browns were not crispy and were soggy. The coffee was weak. Not dish water weak, but weak. I have honestly had better meals at Dennys and IHOP and for a lot less. If you want average American cuisine, this is your place. In their defense, I understand they are known for their stuffed French toast and pancakes. Unfortunately, those are not in my wheelhouse. This is the first restaurant I decided to try out after our stay-at-home order was lifted and I'm glad I did. Kekes has always been consistently delicious, but I was worried their quality might suffer due to this whole pandemic. I was wrong. Both meals came out steaming hot and beautifully presented. I always order the Italian chicken omelette. It comes with provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, and grilled chicken. I opt to add portobello mushrooms every time, which gives yet another dimension. The thing that makes this omelette, though, is the pesto sauce. It's so creamy and full of flavors and takes the omelette up to a whole new level. The portions are always huge and filling. I don't ever eat the toast so substitute fresh sliced tomatoes at no charge. The only thing Negative is they can be a bit pricey for breakfast especially if you do any kind of substitutions (I always get egg whites which is almost an extra $2 on top of what it already costs.) I will say their upcharge cost for most substitutes is a bit high to me but they do give you adequate portions. I thought the staff handled everything really well considering this weird situation we are all in now. The service was spot on without being intrusive. The restaurant was extremely clean and inviting. I will continue to frequent Keke's because to me they have the best omelettes around! read more

This has been by my house for a long time and I've never been! Met a friend for breakfast Thursday morning. Which if you can go during the week that is the time. Usually on the weekends, you can't even get in the parking lot it's so packed. I had a Greek omelet, it has spinach, tomatoes and feta. It comes with home fries and toast. This review is long overdue, but I came here for brunch a couple weeks ago. The hostess came off a little rude when we walked in and asked for a table for two. He didn't greet us and very reluctantly stopped what he was doing to bring us to a table. Apparently the rest of the morning was slow and several servers were sent home, so that must've contributed to his attitude. The parking lot was packed we thought it was going to be a long wait but to our surprise we were seated quickly. This place can keep up with the busyness which is always a plus. Finally got a meal I like from a Keke's and our server was sweet to make small talk too. The cheese steak panini is the bomb from here! The bread is unusual for this style of sandwich but it was fine. It has finely chopped up beef, onion, peppers, and mushrooms with melty cheese. Fries were also fresh and crispy. My eggs were cooked over easy instead of medium on my last visit but because I was so hungry I didn't care. They let me switch my potatoes for sausage (yay). My rye toast was cooked just right. I have had my fair share of Keke's. It is not always my go-to breakfast/brunch spot, but it is a great local chain and perfect when you need to accommodate for different palates and eating habits. The pancakes are quite sizable, taking up an entire plate. I had the blueberry pancake, made with fresh blueberries, and it was yummy! Most locations are able to accommodate for large parties; however, like most establishments, everyone in the party must be present prior to seating. I cannot say I have ever had a bad meal or experience at Keke's, so I will definitely keep going back when it is requested. read more

This place gets four stars for their consistency and their good customer service. They don't get five because I always have to wait, no matter what time of day. And then I'm starving by the time I actually get to eat, which may actually make me think that the food taste better. But overall, the quality and price are well worth it. I will definitely be back to this location as it seems to be less busy then the one in Winter Park. I got the granola waffle with bananas on top and whip cream. It wasn't too expensive, since it was one of the combo meals. Their waffles are always very crisp and fresh, which is surprisingly hard to find. Went back to this loacation after a few months hiatus. Bad, clueless manager guy had left, new manager installed. Apparently, this made a world of difference! Food still high quality and the customer service has gone way up! You can see this by the large number of customers waiting on a Sat or Sun morning. I only gave 4 stars because of two things: * They still clean up plates and glasses with their bare hands, precariously balancing them as they power walk back to the kitchen. Why not bus bins? I see they have them, but aren't used. * They still don't use serving trays. Instead, an employee carries your plates out balanced on their arms. Good food, good service. This is probably my favorite location for Keke's because, while it gets busy, it's never too busy. Our server was slow but nothing crazy where we were waiting too long to be served, just really hungry when we came. I really love the waffles at Keke's and while this day I opted for lunch, my friend got the waffle and I couldn't resist a bit; still delicious. I ordered the turkey club sandwich and yum yum yum, it did not disappoint. I love their bread and the sauce that comes with the sandwich. Went to KiKi's in Winter Springs Friday morning for breakfast. Felt like having an order pancakes for breakfast. I was seated by the hostess. The waitress came to the table who was very pleasant. She dropped off the menu and asked for my drink order. I looked for pancakes on the menu and much to my surprise an order of pancakes was almost $11 dollars. When the waitress came back I asked her if this was correct; an order of pancakes is almost $11? She said yes or you can order one pancake for I believe she said $8 dollars?? I said mam no disrespect to you but I'm sorry almost $11 for an order of pancakes is unacceptable regardless of size. I politely left and more than likely will not be going back. I recommend KiKi's serve a simple regular order of pancakes, charge a reasonable price then I'll go back unless they have no desire to earn my business. read more

This was my second time at this location and I will say that I much prefer it to the one in Waterford as it was not nearly as packed. I went with a friend around noon on a Saturday and we were seated right away and there wasn't anyone else waiting to be sat. Our server was a little slow at taking our order but she did seem to have several other tables. I ordered the build your own combo with a waffle (chocolate chip and banana) because I can't say no to breakfast, home fries, and two eggs over medium. First time to finally have a breakfast at this restaurant and I went for something I normally wouldn't have much of...stuffed French Toast. I arrived at 9:00am and the parking area was full. I have seen lines out the door at this place and expected a long wait. However, the wait time was only about 12 minutes before being seated. Waitress was Catalina Dawkins and she was terrific. I noticed all of the visible staff staying busy and making sure tables were clear, clean and ready for the next guests. Coffee was brought around frequently so the cup never had a chance to be empty. I went with the Turtle Stuffed French Toast...chocolate, caramel, pecans and cream cheese....MMmmmmm Then of course I even added some syrup. Yes, I'll be going to the gym in just a bit, but those 1,100+ calories were worth it Service was great, food was amazing and price was on point with what we received. First time here, visiting from up Jersey. I have to say the food here is amazing. Hands down the best chocolate chip waffle I've ever had. The home fries we perfect, they can come crispy, but I chose to get them on the softer side. The sausage was cooked all the way, juicy and steaming.
