I didn't try his fish tacos but he did comment on how good they were (and he ordered them on our second visit); my loaded nachos were amazing and what I loved most is that while there are a lot of fixings on the nachos, they did not get soggy - it was the perfect amount of fixings and the flavor was perfection! And my appetite was satiated after...The chicken was thinly sliced but not too thin, all of the ingredients married together for an excellent fiesta of goodness! I was highly satisfied. The second time that I ordered from here hubby ordered fish tacos (again) and I had chicken tacos and a side order of tortilla chips and salsa. Everything tasted fresh and delicious again! This may be my new fave "go to" when I'm undecided on what to eat. I did not receive a response from either the rest of the day from about 1130 AM until me writing this review at least. I saw the Thai shake on the app the next day and finally ordered it ahead of time. I kind of wish I ordered 2 because I loved it so much- the flavor and creaminess but that it was surprisingly still vegan. They do a great job with their fish similarly as well and if they still use Mind Blown, I am a big fan of their frozen vegan crab cakes and so are some friends who love seafood in the Outer Banks: I was unable to pick up my TooGoodToGo because the staff said they don't do this anymore: It was frustrating because you have to take the time to win the bid and then I have to make the drive which isn't right there for me. Thank goodness in this case, I was planning to go here regardless. The staff here was friendly despite the hiccups I encountered. All the trouble I had during this food experience reminded me of negative social experiences- particularly the assumption that social coddling is okay. While they aren't the same at all, the hiccups felt comparatively the same. I decided to include this part because it is relevant to the main reason I write reviews- because I enjoy quietly showing off the food I like, earning free access to exclusive events in this manner and as an emotional release for myself. The irony, is that, I could say the same for the review community I am in now to a degree but the opportunity to experience exclusive events is not something I want to jeopardize for myself if I can help it either. Their new chocolate chip cookie recipes was amazing with a much harder outside and a great chewy inside. They must have also gotten new chocolate chips as they tasted and melted a bit differently.
