The bunch of lunch food is just as I remembered it from years ago. When my husband and I were dating we would go to Shakey's. This is one of the better bunch of lunch selections. We went to one close to our house and they had a minimum selection and the food wasn't as good. Here the service was fantastic. When I paid by credit card I couldn't leave a tip. The service was so good that I made sure they got one. This branch has a nice arcade area for kids. read more

This is an older location. Outside it seems like they modernized the parking lot with fun signs . Inside you can smell the bones of the building . Employees did not interact much beyond bringing out the food and ringing me up . Happy Hour is from 2-5 so that's what we did . Small pizza, garlic cheese bread, bone in chicken wings. Placed an order about 40 minutes ago, I asked about the $10 medium pizza add on with the large PCM order. The girl taking the order said it's not going on right now, it was right there on the website, but I didn't argue with her. My husband called me from inside to tell me there's a big sign advertising the deal (he was sitting right next to me when I asked about it while placing my large PCM order.). Why? Came in here for the lunch during a busy rush it seemed, lots of parties on first glance, as we were looking for the table the manager helped guide us to the perfect spot he was very kind. We ordered at the register with the woman who had a butterfly tattoo, she was so sweet and helpful. The restaurant was bustling yet clean, with plenty of laughter. I actually really enjoy my experience every time i come to shakeys ! My pizza is yummy, the chicken nice and crispy and juicy. However, i did want to spill some tea. There was this one worker (anaya) talking to the people in the booth next to me about a worker "Hailey" i guess she's no good ? And management won't get rid of her. Idkkk but i had fun listening lol. I give this place 4 out of 5. We got the meal deal that includes fried chicken, potato rounds, and 1 topping pizza. We paid $1.50 more for the pan, so it's so good. Chicken was juicy and crispy potatoes were nice and fresh. We ordered som beers on tap they were nice and cold. Service was okay, can improve for sure. Ambiance was cool family vibe but also couples . They have games, and tickets for toys that you can win. There's music playing and made the place more enjoyable. Talk about a flashback to the 90s. I took my son here and we both absolutely loved it. The ambiance brought me back to those 90s pizza parties. They had plenty of seating. Bathrooms needed a real good cleaning though. They also had a very nostalgic 90s arcade for kids that still required tokens and spit out physical tickets. Amazing! The food was on point. We ordered individual mini pizzas and the cheese was so stretchy and delicious. We also had winds and mojos. The mojos could have been better but wings were pretty tasty. Shakeys is pricey as it is. We only go for special occasions. We love Shakeys it's our favorite pizza so when u get pizza like this with no cheese and pepperoni. I'm disappointed. I went for the lunch buffet. Stanley the manager was very courteous and I had requested a Shakeys special, pan pizza, to which he obliged to have his staff make. The place was very clean and the staff was on their game on keeping the tables and counters wiped down. The buffet had plenty of items to try, more than I expected. From fried mushrooms to BBQ chicken and cinnamon rolls, they had lots of food to choose and it was very good! I will definitely be back! read more

What a disappointment. Went there yesterday, Friday, ordered Medium Pepperoni pizza and mojos to go. When I got home and opened the box, I saw I got like 4-5 Olives- which I didn't order. My pizza looked like it was left over pizza from someone else. The cuts don't even seem right. I called the Manager, only for him to say that they don't serve left over pizza...and that possibly the 4-5 olives were a special order from another customer...I offered to send him a picture of it, and he says He doesn't have a computer and he only has a flip phone‍ And this is why people lose business, there's no good service anymore. read more

I've been coming here for years, especially since my little ones have events hosted at this location. It can get crazy busy during events, but if you visit during the weekdays, it's much calmer and more relaxed. I recommend coming then if you want to avoid the crowds and not feel claustrophobic. The location is older but well-maintained, and the employees are always kind and helpful. I've never had an issue here. They have a small selection of games, which is great for the kids to enjoy right after they eat--and even the grown-ups like to join in on the fun! April was such a sweet soul. Not only did she deal with my stupid ass but was sooo helpful today. That girl works incredibly hard. She was busing some ass. And unlike most places you can tell she likes her job. Thank you April for dealing with me. And for the food. It's Shakeys pizza. When I went here, I enjoyed the service because the food kept coming out fresh on the buffet bar. The food was absolutely good. It was fresh. It was a variety the chicken and even the sides were delicious as well. I'm not sure if it's this area only in mo-Val but they sure love to charge you more for using your debit card than cash and that's 3 %. I usually go to the shakeys in San Gabriel. The worst part is I was wondering why they charged me extra here in mo-cal ...when I pulled out my card when it was run. I asked do you charge extra if I don't use cash the girl said yes....i told her I had cash. I wasn't aware of this....she say oops. Then I looked around and say it says 3 percent for cards. As you can see this review is at 1:50pm I called and asked if the Buffett was still available I was told yes until 2:00pm I arrived at 1:30pm and I was told no they are not serving it anymore. I had my 85 year old mother who has trouble walking come all the way in for nothing. I tried to push the issue but was told no again.
