Terrible service I will not be back I had a graduation dinner there and my order was missed up but wan't the worst thing, my wings didn't have any flavor on them and when I asked if they can fix it the Manager side that the kids eat all of the wings except three. That I understand and I was going to buy another order but the manager told me that they were eaten already. I told him they just served them self and if he wanted me to really take them off the kids plates ? he said yes and would not accinnidate me in any way they brings me a card that gave me a free order next time I go in. He did that bacause he know my son was a manager and reconized him from another place of business. I will not be going back and they need to pay close attention to there workers read more

The thin crust pizza is cooked perfectly every time we come. The fried chicken is hands down the best around. Mojo potatoes were on point. Restrooms were nice and clean and well stocked. Do not go to this place if you order pick-up. I was there on a Friday, right when the rush started. They totally overlooked my order. I noticed several people receive their "for here" order before I did. Waited longer than 35 minutes. I finally stood next to the counter and no one acknowledged me, until the girl at the register noticed my stoick face. When I did recurve my order I felt the need to tell management. Some young, stepped up, gave me a sorry ass apology, talking about his staff was new trainees. Bro, other people got their order, mine was over looked because of your incompetence. My food was not fresh, he claimed my pizza was, but not my wings. Shakey's do better when you have upset customers. He looked like he had no people skills. These people are paid $15/hr? Horrible. Lies and all. Called in to ask about football starting today. They told me that they were showing the game. So I decided football and pizza for the family. Arrived. First off. Hot as fuhhhhh. Ac was not active. Everyone was sweating and teyibg to stay cool. Place is always overpriced. But usually the food is decent. And the atmosphere is ok. Today. No. Too hot. The football game was not on. I asked for them to out it on and she said we don't have that channel. I informed her that was half the reason we came. Won't be back. I don't like being lied to. Just ate here with my family. We ordered pizza. They brought chicken and potatoes with the order. We didn't even realize they brought the wrong food before our kids had snagged French fries... as toddlers do. The waitress came back, apologized then took the food and served the chicken/potatoes to another family . If I was on the receiving end of that I would be so upset. We had the absolute best experience today at Shakey's in Upland on foothill Boulevard. The manager, Mike, was over the top accommodating and I couldn't have been happier. We had a birthday party for my 13 year old planned at my home for today and a few days ago a pipe burst in our kitchen and our home was flooded. I needed to make a decision due to the inclement weather and decided to call Shakey's yesterday at 2:30 PM. The girl who answered the phone was accommodating and said she could take my party of 18 at noon for the buffet (less than 24 hour notice.) The building was clean, the food was delicious, I was extremely impressed overall. I will not hesitate to visit Shakey's in Upland in the future and plan to have many more gatherings there as well. This Shakey's location is great and CLEAN! We hosted about 27 people here for our daughters 9th birthday Friday night. The staff was very friendly. Upon arrival we were greeted right away by everyone behind the counter. The food came out at a reasonable time and everything tasted fresh. The staff was attentive if we needed extra plates, cutlery and extra sides of ranch. The arcade was clean as well and all the games were operational. Spoke with Mike the previous night to confirm our reservation and he was very nice. He answered all my party questions on what we could and could not bring. I wanted to treat my kids to some pizza, chicken and Mojo's. I figured I would order take out to help support local businesses in Upland during this pandemic. I ordered the individual pizza, chicken and Mojos for each of my boys. I ordered cheese pizzas and when I got home they were pepperoni! The chicken was over fried and the meat was sticking to the skin and it was too hard to chew. The pizza was burnt along the crust. The mojos were over fried as well. This was such a horrible experience! I mean come on, I was the only customer there. It's not like they were super busy. I was really disappointed. I called and no one even apologized. She just offered to remake the pizzas but my kids were starving so I picked out what I could from both orders. This was a huge disappointment. I asked her for a free pizza to make up for the disappointing experience because she didn't even offer any type of refund or replacement meal at my next visit. She said she would give me the free pizza but I doubt I will be returning for a long time. read more
