One of the smaller shakeys I've been to before. I came in and ordered the Buncha lunch on a Friday about 12 o'clock. I went to use the restroom tried to flush the toilet and it wasn't flushing. I checked the next stall. didn't flush. checked the sinks, no water. they had no water. I went to tell the manager. he wasn't aware that he has no water. tried to help me wash my hands in the kitchen. no water. he was not aware of that. Apparently they've had a leak so they turn off the water without notifying him, and he went to let them know that they cannot turn the water off Right now as he has customers and requires it. The salad bar was very sad. The lettuce add some brown some tomatoes were bad. The cucumbers were soggy very sad and disappointing to see. The kids section is divided by a wall. It's very tight in there but gets the job done and it seems very clean in here. They had the same good tasting pizza and Mojoes that I look forward to though. Had my wife call on her phone and was told "we are extremely busy" and was placed on hold as well. Imagine that, a pizza place too busy to take pizza orders. I haven't been to Shakey's in a while, but I went yesterday and can't believe how much I missed out all these years! We got the Bunch a Lunch and the pizzas were so good. My family really enjoyed the pepperoni and jalapeno pizza as did other guests as they ran out of this pizza quick. Luis saved the day by saving the last slices for my family and also told me when the next batch of jalapeno and pepperoni pizza was ready. I had a team soccer party at Shakey's and the place was great. The lunch buffet was available at the time, and this worked out well. There is also a game area, and the kids enjoyed it. It has been several years since l last visited this restaurant. Back then, the afternoon pizza buffet was okay, but the management attitude was just fair. The buffet then had 3 or 4 different pizza available, and the side dishes were frequently not always refilled. Last Friday, 10 MAY, l was in the area, & decided to stop for a late lunch. Upon entering the restaurant, l was nicely greeted by Mike, and when l inquired as to the buffet price, l was pleasantly surprised at the affordable price, which Mike also offered a senior discount, and beverage. I found their pizza buffet stocked with at least 8 different freshly-made pizzas, and a well-stocked salad & side-dish buffet. Great service & assistance from Mike, added to the relaxing ambiance. As l was having a late lunch (after 2 pm), l was also surprised that the staff kept replenishing the food buffet. Years ago, the previous management shut the buffet down by 2. On Thursday 3/20/25, I ordered pizza and fried chicken for my husband's dinner. I placed the order over the phone and the gentleman who took my order was really nice. I later went in to pick up the order and the same gentleman was nice and helpful. It seems like he really likes his job. I've been to this Shakey's before but this was one of the best times. It's been about a year and a half since I was last here. My church brothers and I were a total group of 7 here to eat, fellowship, and ended up watching a little bit of hockey and Dodgers baseball games. This restaurant is very clean inside and out. They have a lot of space for big groups here! After ordering, it wasn't too busy. Our food came out in a timely manner. So much food was ordered by our group. We ordered 4 pizzas... White, Specialty, Meat, and Pepperoni. We also ordered a salad, 8 piece fried chicken, large mojos, and 2 cheese breads. I ended up getting a fountain drink to wash down all the carbs. I had mountain Dew and raspberry iced tea. Everything was super yummy. The workers here fulfilled all of our in house and to go requests. I hadn't been to Shakeys in a few years, but today we were in the area for a tire repair down the street. My girlfriend suggested we walk over and have lunch while we waited for our car. We got there about 210 and the "bunch of lunch" was listed from 11-2 but the food was still out. I asked the cashier and he said yes we could still order the buffet! Since it was near the end of the buffet time, he offered us the soda on the house and while I was eating he even came over to let us know that they were closing the buffet soon if I wanted to go grab another plate before it closed. There was a couple other parties dining and kids playing in the arcade but we still enjoyed ourselves and it was a cool and quiet place for a date! Terrible service I will not be back I had a graduation dinner there and my order was missed up but wan't the worst thing, my wings didn't have any flavor on them and when I asked if they can fix it the Manager side that the kids eat all of the wings except three. That I understand and I was going to buy another order but the manager told me that they were eaten already. I told him they just served them self and if he wanted me to really take them off the kids plates ? he said yes and would not accinnidate me in any way they brings me a card that gave me a free order next time I go in.
