Literally made this a 5 star experience. We ordered the following: -house tofu w/fried rice, as a vegetarian who used to love the house chicken, this was amazing! 10/10 -cream cheese wontons and veggie rolls, both so tasty for an appetizer -chicken chow mein -orange chicken -lettuce wraps -house chicken The meat dishes were loved by the meat eaters. I stopped in to pick up some lunch to go. When I got there, I took a couple minutes to look at the menu screen above the register, but from a distance. Once I was ready to order, I walked up to the counter. Although there were people just a few feet from me, no one greeted or addressed me for quite some time. I was just standing there until one of the cooks finally told the girl behind the counter to help me. There was another guy who had helped the people before me, but when I walked up to the counter, he was just taking his time talking to another customer about sports. When I finally I ordered, the food did not take long to prepare. The food quality here is consistently pretty good. They just need to work on their customer service. read more

I had to stop and share my wonderful experience at a fast food location because it's rare to have such beautiful interactions nowadays. Today my husband and I decided to stop in for an early dinner. We came during a decently busy time and upon entering we were warmly greeted. This is the first time we have came to a pick up sticks in a long time so we were unfamiliar with the menu. We took a moment to look at the menu to see the different options when our cashier and server Alexis asked if we had any questions, she gave us the rundown on how the ordering works for individual meals as well as the group meals. She was very patient and insightful with answering our questions and helping us find exactly what we would enjoy by listening to our flavor preferences. We ended up ordering the tier 1 of the group pack with the house chicken and a Mongolian Beef with chow mein and egg fried rice. It also came with cream cheese wontons which are my favorite. The food and recommendations definitely hit the spot and my cravings for Asian food, everything was fresh, hot and definitely cooked to order. The house chicken was so flavorful and the beef was juicy and tender. Hit and crispy wontons were AMAZING and also freshly cooked ! Not only was the service we got at the counter amazing, Alexis brought our meal and served it directly to our table. We were very surprised to get an experience that you would normally receive at a sit down restaurant. She even came around the dining room to offer complimentary chocolate cookies! We stayed for a little while after we finished eating and the foot traffic calmed down and our server came back around and she offered to clear any trash we had and asked us if we needed any to go containers. She was even kind enough to chat with us for a moment about our experience. Overall the service was wonderful and prices matched the overall quality. The cooks were working hard through the rush of dinner too, I definitely applaud them for their hard work and skills with the wok and flames ! So cool to see them cooking in an open kitchen. And so refreshing to see such a kind face throughout the whole experience. The team seemed to be working great together even through such a busy hour! We will be adding pick up sticks into our dinner rotation and be back to enjoy hot and fresh food, the enjoyable atmosphere and another kind warming conversation with the workers at this store! Jerry claimed to be the manager. He is the worst for the Pick up Stix franchise. He was ill mannered, rude and disrespectful.

Hubby ordered me lunch from a place I really enjoy. I'd been sick, so this was my second meal in over five days so I was looking forward to it. I was so disappointed to see my broccoli beef with steamed rice was so dry and overcooked. Literally these three ingredients, noting more.. No carrots like I usually have in it and the meat was dry, tough and lacked all the yummy flavor and juices it normally has. So really disappointing. Spoke to Betzaida, the manager and told her my experience and she was beyond apologetic. She issued a refund, offered to remake it and apologized. Now this might sound like normal practice, and I can tell you, it's not! You're lucky if they acknowledge, let alone remake it. Betzaida was so empathetic, and I felt she genuinely cared. That's a class act and professional who truly cares about your experience. The meal may not have been great, but her service was exceptional and outstanding.
