Pastrami sandwhich
rahul s.

10/10 got to go. Highly recommend, this is simply the best sandwhich I have ever had. Their menu is huge and you can combine meats which is a very cool touch. Service was awesome, another grab and go spot. Obviously with it being New York City, there is no place to sit so I recommend going to Times Square and finding a spot there. But the ambiance was very nice, very small spot.

Italian Hero

WOW!! This hidden gem, and its so small feels hidden, is so good. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The owner is so nice and accommodating to tourist. We split the Italian Hero and it was definitely enough for two people. The ingredients are so fresh and plentiful and the prices are amazing!! There isn't a place to sit because it's so small but there is street seating nearby on Times Square

AMAZING! owner is hilarious and full of energy. Wanted a true NYC deli experience and this far exceeded expectations!! prices amazing, quality 10/10, Will definitely visit again next time in NYC.

Fresh Italian sub and tuna sandwich

Great little hole in the wall place we stumbled upon on our last day in NYC. Fresh sandwiches, Italian was amazing and tuna was great. Most reasonable priced food we had here as well. Owner was so nice, very interactive and friendly. 10/10 recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Nice man working on my sandwich!

Loved this place. People and food were great! It's a small place, but the guy making our sandwich was nice. I was thinking about that sandwich all the way back to Sacramento, California!

Literal hole in the wall sandwich shop located next to a parking garage. Each sandwich is made with freshly sliced meat. I believe he's the owner and he was a hoot. He appreciates his customers and joked with us while busting out our sandwiches.

Great hot pastrami on a roll. Total characters behind the counter! No seating but not needed for a sandwich shop.

Small space inside but you don't need much space to make bussin sandwiches. Walking or public transportation is preferred. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here after a long day doing booth duty at a summit and was starving from not eating the entire day. Fortunatley the place was pretty quiet since it was 2pm and I got my orders in. For sandwiches, I ended up getting the Favolosa and the Italiana. The favolosa had a delicious artichoke cream and salami that was a banger. The italiana had all your great italian cured meats as well as a truffle cream sauce that made the umami bomb even more umami. So good! THE FINAL BAMBOO: The two sandwiches were around $45, a little pricier on the sandwich side but man are they delicious. I'll definitely be back when I'm in NYC.

The La Paradiso sandwich with mortadella, stracciatella, and pistachios...God's creation!!So when I heard they were coming to NYC, I was SO excited. Okay... it was good, but it was not Italy good. My focaccia didn't taste as fresh, and my sandwich felt rushed;like it wasn't made with love. It still tasted good, but it was definitely not the same magical experience as that first bite I had in Rome. The lemon drink definitely get it. Maybe I'm just spoiled because I had the original in Italy, but I wanted to love it more!

I'm so glad Broad Nosh Bagels & Deli popped up in my search, as it was exactly what I was looking to enjoy. A couple of us trekked the few blocks to find the storefront. Inside it was PACKED, and several groups and lines snaked around the dividers. But the line moved quickly between customers picking up to-go meals and placing orders at the counters. The display cases are beautiful and feature so many different kinds of cream cheese. (Who knew you could make a whole vat of Biscoff?) They also had many types of smoked fish and toppings for customers filing through. Once you order food, you take your ticket to the register where you can add any drinks. This also went fairly quickly. Food and drink order numbers were called out and checked with the receipts, although they called out a set of orders for several minutes and no one came to pick them up. There are a few tables there, but since customers wait to grab drinks and food near the front, the couple tables at the front were basically for crowd control. I definitely wouldn't try to eat there unless I happened to be going at a quieter time. I got the bagel with smoked salmon, and it was exactly what I had been craving. Their bagels are a quarter pound each, so you might even get two meals out of it if you have a fridge for storage. But even as good as the bagel was, the hot chai latte with oat milk was the star for me. It was so incredibly layered for flavor and fragrant, just lightly sweet. I would go out of my way on a trip to NYC just to get one of these for breakfast! We all really enjoyed our food, and I will definitely return.

We ducked here to grab some nourishment before I became to hangry. Ordering takes place at the counter then grab a table. I had a 1/2 bowl of their "famous chicken soup" and 1/2 pastrami sandwich. Had good flavor and was enough to warm me up on this brisk morning. My niece did a bagel, and after trying all week she finally got one exactly how she wanted it made. We ate and chilled for a bit, no plans for the day other than making it to the airport to go home. Was able to people watch and catch up without feeling rushed to leave. Saw locals come through, so you know it is a place worth stopping. The staff were nice and even apologized for not being able to give me the soup I wanted in a half order. Though things can often get overlooked and passed by in the hustle and bustle of the city...stop in and relax while you grab a bite to eat.

Date of visit: April 14, 2026…read more Our friend wanted to go to a real New York deli during her first trip to the city and this is the one in the vicinity of Times Square and our evening show that was the highest rated according to my fellow Yelpers, but I am not quite sure why based on our experience. Things did start out great, with Boudjema being very friendly and helpful as we placed our order. And once we got seated, we were able to fully appreciate the vibe, both in the primarily 70s playlist, but also the mirror and brass touches across the restaurant. Food-wise, however, there were some definite opportunities. My Roasted Turkey sandwich did come on quite possibly the best rye bread I have ever had, warm and flavorful. But while the gravy was also good, the turkey was cold. This odd temperature mismatch made it hard to appreciate the generous portion of meat on the sandwich. We also ordered some tater tots and those were quite good. While it definitely could have been worse--and I've had worse in New York City--this also could have been so much better.
