My husband and I were in Wimberley for the weekend. Because of Yelp reviews and a few locals, we decided to check out the breakfast tacos here. We had the Texan and a Naked potato, egg, and cheese. This is definitely a lot of food for the price. If I was being super picky, about the only negative would be the potatoes were more like mashed than chunks, but that's just personal preference. Shockingly delicious. I want to give this place a billion stars because they don't just serve the abomination known as "breakfast tacos" during breakfast. But you can get a carnitas taco, a fajita taco, whatever taco you want at 8am. THIS IS AMAZING. YES! And they have a taco with a FRIED egg instead of scrambled. That's just wonderful. Wow what an unexpected find! We saw a blurb about this place online having awesome tacos. I think it read something like where the locals go for Tacos. I am glad we checked it out. We ended up eating here three times on our visit. They are only open and serving Tacos until 3pm, so plan accordingly. I had the Cabo, which is a fish taco. One of the best fish tacos I have ever had. Two huge pieces of fish, slaw, and some awesome spicy sauce. The Cabo takes like 8 minutes because they are made to order, but completely worth it. My g/f had this Cowboy taco, which was fajita steak, onions, cilantro, and potatoes. We also tried the chips and queso. The food was so good we went back the next day. We also heard that they were really known for the breakfast tacos, so we went back on our way out of town to try the breakfast tacos, and they were just as good! Do yourself a favor and try this place, try the Cabo if you like fish. You can get all their tacos on either flour, or corn tortillas, or even in a bowl. I can't wait to go back, maybe I will try something different next time I am there. They even have some tables inside to sit at on a hot day. I really don't like giving bad reviews :( but I went in and ordered 2 simple right off the menu tacos and there was only one person a head of me...it took over 20 minutes to get them! The girls there are all very nice, especially the one taking the orders, but the kitchen crew seemed not to care if now 5 of us were all waiting!!! Do not let the fact that these guys are inside a convenience store dissuade you from trying their tacos. They are AH-MAZING. I have tried ALL of them by now, and love them all.
