two trays of chinese food
Ngan D.

My husband and I's Chinese carryout place for a while! They do not open the whole day and they seem to update their hours often but the food is good! It's a stand alone restaurant and never seems too busy. We like to go here when we crave Chinese carryout because they are very reasonably priced and it comes with generous amount of food as well.

Seems like every time I try to go here the hours change. We've lý ever been successful twice in ordering food from here. Both times were amazing. New hours as of September 21st 2023

We called for carry out. The fried rice was pretty good but the orange chicken was "meh". My daughter liked the wings and fries.

Solid local Chinese food. The hot and sour soup is my go to. Beef and broccoli is good as well.

Our favorite Chinese food in Olney. Like the Hunan Chicken, General Tso's and fried rice. Big portions!

We placed a bulk order for an event - crispy beef, Singaporean noodles, and rice - and the portion sizes were generous and very reasonably priced.

This place is a window inside a gas station in Olney, but the reality is that I've had a lot of…read moregood food from gas station outlets. And this was no exception. Ordering in advance yielded an order that was ready shortly after I walked in. There wasn't a lot of excess parking at this gas station and I didn't need gas, so I felt strange just pulling up to a pump for this food, but I did. I wasn't 100% sure what kind of burrito I was getting, but it turned out to be a sushi burrito wrapped in seaweed and rice. They had a bunch of tofu options, and basil tofu was mouthwatering. There wasn't a lot of customization on the online ordering, but truthfully I would have struggled to do better than the mix of crisp carrots, savory panko, and cool lettuce, among other things that rounded out the burrito. I will say the tea wasn't as good; overly sweet for me. But I haven't had an Asian burrito that good since the poke bowl place I used to frequent in New Orleans before the COVID era.

Came here between lunch and dinner. I had 1.5 hrs to kill and wanted something small, so decided to…read moretry 168 Asian Burritos. Tiny little place. Walked into this hidden spot in the gas station and was met by the owners (I think); they were very nice and let me sample the black milk tea and the Jasmine green milk tea. I liked the Jasmine milk tea better; also allowed to select the sugar level. It was a good size and the price was cheaper than most boba teas. I also ordered the Taiwanese chicken, which was white meat yeah! That came with a sweet chili sauce but it didn't need the sauce. They were perfectly fried and seasoned. I was very happy with the chicken and the boba tea. In fact, I went to pick up my daughter nearby and when she opened the car door she says "OMG it smells so good in here". I had saved a couple of nuggets for her to try and she really liked them too. I can't wait to come back to try one of their bigger meals.

This is a short review based on my first (but definitely not last!) visit. Will update in the…read morefuture. Was heading home from airport after a long flight. Was feeling hangry because I had planned on stopping at Hard Times for a bowl of chili -and found out they were closed on Mondays. So, pretty much pulled a name out of a hat and would up at Chuan Tian Xia because, well, Szechuan cooking uses chiles, no? Yesssss! I ordered Signature Dumplings and a bowl of Beijing-style Beijing-style Zhajiang Noodles. The dumplings were outstanding: a mix of shrimp, pork, and chive that were plump, juicy, fragrant with the herbaceous flavor of chives. The accompanying sauce was not too sweet, not too hot, just right as a complement to the dumplings. Yowza. I was a happy camper... ...and then I dug into my noodles. Double yowza! Thick wheat noodles topped with a rich sauce made from (I think) fermented soybean paste and braised pork belly, garnished with cucumbers. The portion was way to big for me to eat after my flight, but I really, really enjoyed it (and the remaining dumplings) for lunch today. Did I say yowza? I'm an adventurous eater so the menu's less Americanized items were what I would have ordered given more time (like Maoxuewang: can you say "pig's tongue, spam, pork intestine, and beef tripe"? Protein is protein, baby!). Just means I need to come back, and I will, as quickly as I can.

Came here after a long day from a convention. My friends and I were hungry and wanted to give this…read morea try and it did not disappoint! Everything was so flavorful and was great! We had the Ma Po Tofu, chive dumplings, sesame chicken, and noodles and out of all of those, the noodles and Ma po tofu were our favorites! Service was quick and the restaurant was very spacious and accommodating.

Our waitress was lovely and very attentive throughout the meal, and the service was impressively fast. The food came out almost immediately. Everything we tried was delicious. The chili oil handmade noodles and the signature pork soup dumplings were definite standouts and absolutely worth ordering. The firecracker salmon spring rolls were a little different than the typical spring rolls we're used to seeing, thinner and more delicate, but still incredibly flavorful and delicious. Overall, a great experience with fast service, excellent food, and a welcoming atmosphere.
