I hadn't heard of this place and after seeing a ton of signs for the Nivi grand opening inside I knew I had to check it out since I really like artisinal ice cream. Everyone swears by the ube honeycomb and it's good. For me it was too sweet but I really liked the rose pistaccio flavor. I also got a sample of the mango soft serve which was really good. The staff didn't know which flavors were gluten free but they did go out of their way to find out and also let me try samples. I got the rose flavor and I really liked it. The spoons they let you sample from are metal which was unexpected. The staff was nice. The seating were couches which was different but otherwise it was very clean. I'd definintely come back to try some of their other items.

I got the mango ice cream. It was creamy and had great flavors. The store itself is kind of small due to the fact that it is sharing with a bubble tea store as well. There are a few couches and tables; sadly, the one couch that was free was kind of dirty. It had some stain on it or something, so I decided to stay standing while enjoying my ice cream. They also had multiple toppings as well and milkshakes that they could make.

The staff was not helpful. All the males that were working that evening show the expression "I hate my job". The order board in front of the cashier is only for drinks and shakes I believe. You can not use it to order ice cream. They ran out of the bubble waffle cone, and so that limited us to only being able to order scoops of ice cream which wasn't that big of deal. There are two different registers because in my opinion it looks to be two different businesses in one building. Their is a handful of chairs and tables to sit down once you ordered your dessert. Volume was little louder than I would have expected by the number of people that were inside the store. When my family and I went into the store. We do not recommend and we will not be returning for any future visits. -HoneyCone (color is purple and as a good favor) -Cookies n cream (nothing to be excited about taste just like any other brand cookies n cream ice cream) - Strawberry Shortcake (not a fan of the strawberry shortcake... No real fruit inside it is strawberry syrup.) -Toasted Marshmellow -Birthday Cake (not a fan because this didn't taste like "birthday cake" it tastes like vanilla with sprinkles and icing mix in)

I got the oolong classic milk tea with boba, half sweet, and less ice, and it was delicious. I also really appreciate the price at $5.85 for a decent size with tapioca. Boba is getting so ridiculously expensive these days. I have regrettably spent more elsewhere for a smaller drink and without any toppings. I like sweet drinks, and the 50% sweet was perfect for me. I don't like when boba is too sweet, especially sickly sweet, but I find it even worse if it's very bitter. I was grateful that they let me sample the tea, even though it was only the no sweetness added version, just so I could gauge how much I wanted to add. The baristas were super friendly. You could definitely sit here and study/work.

If you want something more refreshing and less heavy I highly recommend the fruity options, imo 25% sweet is stilly plenty sweet without making you run for a cup of water. I appreciate that it doesn't taste like fake corny syrup flavorings and there's actual chunks of fruit. Cool, bright and airy store which is a blast of fresh AC on hot Texas days. I recommend this boba over the one in the outlet mall.

I definitely felt a little claustrophobic when I entered. Note that the photos I took are on 0.5x, so in real life, the space looks a lot smaller. I got myself the Malaysian coffee drink which comes with coffee jelly and boba and absolutely enjoyed my drink. I would suggest going lower than usual on your sugar level. I asked for 30% sweet and it was still too sweet for me. They also have a Vietnamese coffee drink option. I don't think I've ever seen a Malaysian coffee drink ever offered in any other boba place, so this place stood out for me. When I came in on a weekday, it was dead quiet. It will be great if the store played some music to make it a more welcoming place. I can imagine this becoming very popular with the tween and teenage crowds over the weekends. I don't suggest bringing your kids under 5 in here, they are going to want to touch everything, and because of the limited space, I imagine this can be really stressful for parents. Personally, I think this place has way too much stuff for people to want to hang out there. It'll be a lot better if they reduce some of the things they have there so it's easier to look for customers. Way too much going on. Not a fan. It feels like a lot of clutter for no good reason. Service was average.
