This was from the actual food truck. Not much flavor. Rey's too much on the sauce. Menu mentioned veggies. It was only chopped broccoli.

Tasty wraps. The salmon wrap is bomb. I was able to call in a large order just a few hours before, and it was easy to order and pick up. Everything was labeled and made my Covid friendly birthday outing a success. The wraps are filling, and everyone had great things to say about them at my event. I would definitely come again---- and to try the cookies as they were a recommendation by another customer on my way out of the store.

Shareef's has always been one of my favorite carry-outs in Baltimore. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are always healthy and the service is fast and friendly. My go-to meal is practically any one of their platters which is served with your choice of meat on a bed of rice and vegetables and the sauce they cover the food in is so good! I recently tried the rotisserie wings and immediately fell in love, but they are a bit pricey compared to the wings you can get at other carry-outs. But the taste definitely cannot be matched! Now, I will admit that Shareef's location is lackluster. The parking is very small and on a hill which can really tear up the bottom of your car. Their actual building is very small as well, definitely not a place you want to stand in with others to place your order with covid possibly in the air. I'd suggest calling your order in rather than just showing.

Salmon and lump crabmeat platter with too much yum yum sauce

I remember when this place first opened, there was huge hype surrounding it. Because I'm not a fan of trying something when everyone is trying it, I waited a while to try it. And I must say, it was overhyped. This location is located on the corner of a busy road and there isn't plenty parking in the lot. It's small and not made to fit a lot of people. It isn't a glorious place so don't expect much decor, just yellow walls and a counter. So onto the food. The menu is sizable with plenty dishes that contain rice, veggies and a protein of your choosing. Not really exciting right? They have a "special" sauce(I'm pretty sure it's yum yum sauce) they put on the food and it seems that they put lots of it on your food and you don't taste any of the other flavors. I had the salmon and lump crabmeat platter. There was plenty food and they certainly aren't shy with giving you lots of crab and salmon. But with all the sauce you don't taste any of that. My wife loves their roasted wings but they didn't have any and I was told by the cashier that they sellout of them everyday around lunchtime. I'd think if it's a hot item they would have plenty of wings to feed the demand. I can say I was very pleased by their dessert. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing! I may just go pass there for the cookies only. If they decide to calm down on the sauce, maybe I'd give them another try and if they have some wings later in the day it would be much appreciated.

This place is AMAZING sauce!! Yes the area looks a little sketchy but I haven't had a problem yet and each time I have went it was night time. The service is only through a window but they are always so nice and can hold a conversation. The food once ordered doesn't take much time to prepare. Now let's talk about the food!!! I normally order the platters, yes they aren't the cheapest thing around but they are DELICIOUS!!! I have tried the chicken, salmon, and jumbo shrimp platters and they are amazing!! The warm rice with broccoli the choice of protein and then the warm special sauce makes it so AMAZING!! Ahhh writing about it makes me want some more! The wraps are the same type of consistency just with bread around it. They do sell desserts and I have only had the chocolate chip cookies which were not as soft as I like them but they were good. The drinks they prepare I heard are delicious and I will give them a try one day but u am a boring water drinker! So if you are close by I would recommend you stopping by and trying it out!

Salmon wrap smaller than it looks

The taste of the food was good- I read many positive reviews to solicit ordering a salmon wrap to go. Interestingly, it was like a burrito with a mix of yellow rice, veggies (broccoli, bell peppers, onions) with a "secret sauce". But it was close to $11 including tax for what was a substantially small wrap that was NOT filling... I mean, it was maybe slightly longer than the length of my hand. There wasn't much salmon in the wrap either. The place is kind of a hole-in-the-wall with no seating, and looks a bit dingy inside.. There were two guys prepping the food, of which 1 came over to take orders at the front register. They took 10 minutes to make a simple wrap. Also, the menu inside on the TV display shows a cheaper price (by $1 or so) yet, they charged me more. I double-checked their website on my phone while waiting for the food, which seems to reflect the price uptick.

OMG!!!OMG!!! The Shareef Food Truck came to Amazon on Solley Rd Glen Burnie today for its 2yrs Anniversary for the Associates. The Food was So DELICIOUS. Didn't hear Not One Complain..... If the restaurant was closer to me. Chipotle would be kicked to the Side :) it's 25mins from my house. Thanks to the Gentleman taking orders. :). And the Cooks in the back.

Fried Jumbo Chicken Wings with Seasoned Fries and Sauteed Broccoli

I would have given 5 stars but I did not get to try what I wanted which were the rotisserie wings. My co-worker got them a week ago and said although they were baked, they were crispy like they were fried. What I did order I enjoyed immensely. I ended up getting the fried chicken wings with seasoned fries and broccoli. The chicken wings were huge and fried perfectly. The crispy yet flaky outer shell was amazing. The flavor of the wings were very good as well. I only wish I had arrived 45 minutes later and been able to try the rotisserie wings because they looked like heaven spinning in the oven. The seasoned fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and were not overly seasoned. they hit the spot. The broccoli was sliced thin and sauteed in butter and garlic sauce and man oh man I could have had a double helping of broccoli and been somewhat keto friendly LOL. This Halal spot did not disappoint and is all everyone says they are. I can't wait to go back and get those rotisserie wings! A steady stream of folks coming in to grab their lunch order and after enjoying my meal I totally understand why. I get those wings and they are how my co-worker described I will be changing my rating to a 5 star.

I decided to pay this place a visit after hearing someone in passing speak it up which lead to me reading some of the reviews. Which all seemed positive. I made it my days mission to grab a platter (salmon). Like I said I was super excited based on what I read about this place...However once I got my platter I have to say I was utterly disappointed. I was looking for a high quality meal and simply got something that I could have made at home...the rice was not the best quality...couple pieces of salmon, this special sauce that everyone raved about simply taste like thousand island dressing, or mayo with ketchup and spices...I was also extremely upset about the fact that the dish was cold...salmon was warm but rice was cold as if it was made in the morning and just sitting around all day....I want to give them another shot, but I don't think I'd buy the salmon platter ever again.

OMG The banana pudding is off the chain. I could go there right now just to pick up this dessert. I did enjoy my my food. It too was delicious but, this is truly a 2 for 1. Good food and Good dessert.

Everything was delicious. The service was exceptional again, which says a lot about the consistency of this restaurant. And although it was absolutely freezing outside that evening, Ammoora was warm, cozy, elegant, and beautiful inside. Another wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back!

The service was attentive throughout our meal, and every dish arrived beautifully plated with great attention to detail. We started with the Beyti Sujuk Rolls and the Beetroot Hadiqa. The rolls were one of my favorite appetizers. They were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the yogurt and tomato sauce. The Beetroot Hadiqa was equally impressive, with beets, apples, walnuts...it was a refreshing combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors. For our entrees, we ordered the Riyash of Lamb and the Freekeh Short Rib. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully and served over couscous with broccolini, while the pistachio crust added a nice texture. The Freekeh Short Rib was incredibly tender and the rich beef jus paired perfectly with the mushrooms. It was hearty, comforting, and one of the best short rib dishes I've had. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Asfar So Good, while my partner had the Ashita Affair. Both were beautifully presented with a silky foam on top and were as delicious as they looked. The Asfar So Good was light, refreshing, and well-balanced with subtle floral and citrus notes, while the Ashita Affair had a smooth, creamy texture with pistachio and rose flavors that made it feel almost like a dessert cocktail without being overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and service justify the cost. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. If you're looking for elevated Middle Eastern cuisine, creative cocktails, and one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Baltimore, Ammoora is absolutely worth the splurge.

The chicken was huggggeeee and likely was a chicken thigh, which was a good touch. Ur was juicy and fried to perfection. The herbs provided a well balance and the bao bun was everything. I smashed!!! This is the best dibi lamb I've had!…read more My first introduction to dibi lamb was at a Malian restaurant in West Philadelphia in the early 2000s. Since that time, I rotate between poisson and dibi whenever I get Senegalese food. West African restaurants are a dime a dozen in Philadelphia, but a lot of the food is just ok, with many of my favorite restaurants changing hands over the years and after COVID most of the food is meh at best. I recently had dibi at the gold standard for Senegalese food in Philadelphia and was disappointed. Fortunately, I have been able to order poisson and dibi from a Malian woman near me and I can make a passable version in a pinch. Two weeks ago, a friend posted on FB that this was the best meal she had ever had. As this was someone I know to have a breadth of experience with food, I was intrigued by the recommendation. So, while attending a conference in the area, I decided to give it a try. Unlike the Senegalese restaurant I recently visited in Chicago, this place was nice - the furnishings, decorations, and even the restroom was modern but authentic. The customer service was also refreshing. As soon as he set the plate down I knew it was going to be spectacular. There was a glorious aroma wafting from the lamb (which I'd ordered spicy), the plantains weren't glistening with oil, and the yassa condiment was a unexpected treat. The lamb was tender, seasoned to perfection and honestly I was so enamored with the food that I texted my friend to concur with her assessment. I was stuffed but didn't want the meal to end and I didn't want to leave. When I finished, I went to wash my hands and when I returned to the table I was disappointed that I had eaten it all. It was truly an outstanding meal with remarkable service. I wish them longevity and success because I intend to return with my family so they too can experience the deliciousness.

I loved the grilled chicken and lamb -- juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The tilapia was a bit underwhelming, mainly because the fish itself has a bit of a muddy aftertaste. Pair it with a sweet and tangy Bissap -- a vibrant sorrel and pineapple juice -- and the whole meal easily scores an 8.5/10. I also really liked the cozy wooden hut vibe of Nailah's Kitchen. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of tables and chairs, and the red, green, and yellow lights make the whole place feel just as colorful as the dishes they serve. Service was okay, but it's definitely a spot worth visiting for the food.
