The staff couldn't be bothered to respond to a thank-you, and the demeanor was just a bit strange overall for a customer service role. They were happy to chat amongst each other, though. The spicy chai was definetly spicy but not in the way that I was expecting. Instead of a stronger traditional spiciness associated with chai (such as cloves, cinnamon, etc) there was an unpleasant burning flavor/sensation in the back of my throat after I swallowed each sip - almost like a cayenne or something. It ruined the whole drink and now I know to avoid the spicy chai and I will just opt for a regular chai next time. My husband enjoyed his iced vanilla latte. Make sure you go early on the weekends otherwise there will be a line out the door and they will be sold out of burritos and pastries.
