We went here since the new one opened up in Austin, Texas not too long ago. I was expecting the same level of customer service like the Austin one - nope. Not entirely correct. Service was slow and drinks came out slower than expected. management should have known to staff more people at busy busy times. there were approximately 5 parties waiting for drinks and only 2 people taking orders and making all drinks for the parties, us included. Drinks came out okay. The wait made it seem sweeter and more delicious lol Would I come back to this location? Prabably not since we have one in Austin now and there are choices closer to me when I go back to visit California. I would have loved to give this place a full 4 stars but I just couldn't after my boyfriend found a piece of hair in his drink. I was excited about the spinning of the discount wheel. I placed an order here that was mistakenly given away by their staff. When we came to pick it up, they made us wait over 30 minutes to try to get it resolved rather than remaking the order so we could leave. They went as far as trying to review surveillance to see if we had already picked up the order or if someone else had come to pick up the order. I called the owner "Ted" who was argumentative and gave ultimatums saying I only had two options. Wait another 20 minutes to have the drinks remade or dispute the order with yelp. He also accused us of possibly having someone who knew we called, to pick up our order. This is bad business "Ted." You should have just apologized and reevaluate how you give out your drinks. First tried sharetea up in norcal and I was sad coming back home because I wouldnt be able to get my fix anymore, but lo and behold -- I was ecstatic to find that there are socal locations as well! Mango green tea creama!!! Holyyyy fudge this stuff is good! It's like salty foam/cream on top of mango green tea. One sip and I was hooked! You're supposed to cut open a little slit on the lid so when you drink it, you get a bit of the cream with the tea. Or you can just mix it up all together. Whatever you want, s'all gravy. It's great either way. So creamy and delish and there's even real bits of mango in it too! This is the one boba place me and the bf won't share a drink because we like it so much! No sharing here :) bf got the strawberry black tea creama because we wanted to see how the other creamas tasted. It was good, but we both prefer the mango one. As much as I want to love Sharetea, my opinion has leaned to avoiding them. This is in lieu of the inconsistency in service and quality of drinks. At this time they are only taking online orders, or so I was told, via the Yelp app, GrubHub, or via delivery on Postmates or UberEats. What is a very busy Friday night spot pre-Covid, Sharetea continues to thrive despite my sentiment. The options here for tea are plentiful with several types of boba or jelly additions to drink. However, I find that the tea is not brewed well, nor are the boba portions consistent every time. I don't get the same kind of great drink at this location as I once used to. If they were to improve on this with every order, their quality control issues may lead to longer term growth. To add to this, I am also finding that their delivery times are incredibly long. The adjustment time is understandable, along with lean staff. However, wait times are now around 30-45 minutes for a single boba. While there is a backlog and the demand is there, prompt service and delivery goals are not there. Sadly, with a watery boba drink at $5 that one has to wait at least 30 minutes for, I will end up going elsewhere. read more

Excellent customer service. That's the first time I noticed when I walked in. All the girls were extremely friendly and very helpful. It was our first time here and they helped us picked out some drinks with boba. I ordered the Honey Milk Tea with boba and my fiancé for the Mango Green-tea with boba. The girls were even nice enough to ask us if we want it less or more sweet (we went with less sweet because WEDDING season duh). We sat down and noticed there were so many young kids just hanging out at this cafe with their laptops. They were drinking boba drinks and doing their homework and just hanging out. I think the boba quality and drink flavors here are solid! I loved how the sea salt cream foam on top of the mango green tea mixed in to make a creamy, decadent drink that isn't overwhelming. The milk tea was just the right flavor too. Boba texture isn't super chewy, an authentic texture. There are a wide range of toppings and milk teas along with teas. Came here over the weekend for a second time and yet again they did not disappoint. This place is great. Sharetea is easily one of my favorite boba place. In particular I love the Oolong Milk tea or the Jasmine Milk tea, I also like Taro Milk tea which I found out they make fresh daily and don't use powders which is amazing. I like that you dan customize the drinks with different levels of sugar and ice which is awesome. The facility is big but usually very very pack so expect to wait in line roughly 10-15 minutes every time you visit. Definitely not a place to try and grab something quick. I like all the options they have and how much they seem to take notice on what people like and make more options similar to those. This place is not close to my house but when in the area it will be a must to visit for sure. read more

I've tried several milk teas and they are all good! The Okinawa Milk Tea can only be sweetened down to 80% but I recommend it because it is not too sweet, yet packed with flavor! They have mini pearls/boba now which is my favorite! I love it because you can use the smaller straw and not drink tons of milk tea, or drink all the boba in one sip. It is the perfect ratio -- mini boba to milk tea. The fruit teas are refreshing too and you NEED a stamp card because you will be coming back - especially when you can get a free drink at the end of your card. The place is pretty crowded every time I go, so just be ready to wait a little bit. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you are in a rush unless you order ahead of time. read more

They do really well with COVID protocols to protect the health of their workers & customers (masks required, protective shields, card only to minimize contact, hand sanitizer provided, no indoor access).
