Just like all the other Sharetea chains, nothing special. The location will probably not attract as much foot traffic as others, but I'm glad it's there! Like all others, you can customize the toppings, sweetness and ice level. My usual go to, was the Okinawa (brown sugar) milk tea, and this you cannot customized the sugar level. After finding out they use Okinawa powder for this drink, I decided I need to find something else. Sadness. The store itself is quite clean and service was pretty good though! Sharetea is one of those chains that don't have the best quality control. Some days/outlets are your best friend, while others just scream for another boba shop to take over. I like this Fremont location... It has ample parking (ok during appropriate boba hours, but not necessarily during meal hours) and yet it's rarely busy enough to require too much wait. The drink choices are plentiful so even when you don't feel like tea or milk, you can satisfy those sweet tooth cravings. I also love Sharetea for its fun list of toppings that you can add to your drink... They probably reign king in this aspect of the boba world. read more

Sharetea is one of my go-to places for boba, as I love their fruit teas and their cremas the best out of anything. The Mango Green Tea Crema is my favorite drink by far. I like the tapioca pearls they have, not overly sweet but still a good texture. Their drinks are great! I will say that the service could use improvement. I haven't had too many issues but drinks do take a while if you order in person, especially with COVID. I have seen them get huge orders from online (8+), so they have to take the time to enter each drink into their local system, print out the sticker and then put it on the cup. Since then, I have been only ordering online and I have not had any issues with that. I prefer it with my anxiety and the situation with COVID. The drinks I order are pretty standard, with sweetness and ice adjustments as needed. I order about 15-20 minutes before I reach the store and it is ready once I get there! Been here a few times now and the service has always been top notch. Drinks are good and usually pretty consistent. They've always complied with any customizations for ice, sugar, and even level of coffee flavor in their iced coffee drink. During my most recent visit I discovered they have onigiri! They call it "floss", but for those of you who know what onigiri is you damn well know it's not something you can easily get just anywhere and if you want to attempt to get it at Mitsuwa for some authentic made from the people from the motherland, good luck because that place is ALWAYS PACKED!!! So I was excited to try the "floss" as weird as that sounds and got a salmon and pork. They also have masubi, but were out that day. The price is $1.50 each, but the salmon is $2.00. I ate the salmon first and it was delish! The pork turned out to be Chinese pork sung, hence the owners are Chinese I believe. Not that it wasn't good, but I would skip the pork next time and just get the salmon and try the masubi next time. Overall I like the place. I've seen bad reviews, and I agree that before it used to be much worse. I used to frequent a different location of Sharetea and I wasn't really a big fan. But they've obviously been putting the effort into changing and improving their menu and i havent had any bad experiences recently so major props to them for striving to improve. I also appreciate the very clean space. I'm really keen on cleanliness and i cants stand dirty boba places. Service is quick too. One thing I like is that they're one of the very few boba places that use fresh non dairy creamer to order unlike a lot of boba places that premix their creamer in the tea ahead of time. It takes so much fresher, trust me. It's hard to find places that still do that. My go to order is green milk tea with grass jelly 30% sugar. I'm v sensitive to sweet taste so 30% sugar for me is like average sweetness, so if youre not a fan a sweet drinks, remember to change the sugar level as their teas run pretty sweet! read more

I've had this once in the past before. I bought my usual passionfruit green tea to go. I ordered it 50% sugar with mini bubbles. I LOVE the mini bubbles. I feel like not much places offer this option and share tea is one of the few places I've been to with mini bubbles. I don't usually add bubbles to my bubble tea (ironic, I know!) but for some reason, the mini ones make it less overwhelming and more enjoyable to consume. It might be a mind trick :) even though I ordered it 50%, it was still SO sweet! It seemed like they might have even forgotten to lower the sugar. I wasn't sure since it was so sweet. My husband said he told them 50% and there was no sticker on the cup that specified of they noted that or not. I guess next time, I'll do 30%. For the sweetness, it kind of destroyed my drink. Short Story: A good place for bubble tea! Long Story: I came here on a Saturday evening and the place was lightly packed. I ordered an iced black tea with boba and the total was about $4.30. A bit on the expensive side I thought but not too much. The order was quickly brought out with no mistake...most of the time when I order tea at places that just opened they usually make a mistake or take a long time. This time the order for no sugar and some ice was perfect. I'm a bit surprised they don't offer any food on the weekends...I would have thought it would be busier on the weekends and therefore food would be offered. I LOVE Sharetea!! The first time I went to Sharetea, I went to the location in SJ by Gen's KBBQ and it was amazing. I usually compare boba to Gong Cha's because it's my favorite boba place :) This boba place gives the perfect blend of sugar and milk tea! I like my boba sweeter than most. And for one of the few times in my life, I got something different than regular milk tea. For the people who know me, I ALWAYS get regular milk tea because of the bad experiences I've had with other types of boba HAHA But at this Sharetea, I decided to get Hokkaido Milk Tea and it tasted really good & I definitely recommend it! Sharetea, I misjudged you... There, I said it. I have to say, when I heard Sharetea was coming to my neighborhood I wasn't too excited. After giving the Union City location 3 tries and feeling more disappointed than the last, I had very low expectations. But I figured, why not, it's so close and it doesn't hurt to try again. Loved the inside of the store: spacious, modern looking with all their wooden decor and furniture, and newly renovated so super clean. The workers are all friendly and accommodating to my odd requests (more tea than milk). So far I've tried: - Classic Pearl Oolong Milk Tea (4/5): Great tea flavor, not too sweet. - Classic Pearl Milk Tea (5/5): My favorite of their 3 milk teas. The flavor of their black tea is prominent and not overly bitter. - Classic Pearl Green Milk Tea (3/5): Average green milk tea, nothing special. - Coffee Milk Tea with pearls (4/5):Really good, highly recommend, but a little on the sweet side, even at 50% sweetness. Strong coffee flavor and goes really well with pearls. - Honey Lemon Green Tea with Aloe (5/5): Another great drink that I highly recommend. *QUALITY: Not bad, but I still prefer the spots with Teaspresso machines that brew your tea to order. However, considering all their tea is pre-brewed, I have to admit, the tea is brewed just right and if I didn't know, I wouldn't know the difference. **CONSISTENCY: Even though I've only gone a handful of times, their drinks always seem to be the right ratio of milk to tea. Just wanted to give my 2 cents! I love Sharetea and it's one of my go-tos if I ever want boba, but I've noticed that sometimes they mess up my order. I always order a jasmine milk tea with boba, but on a couple occasions, the baristas make oolong milk tea instead (despite the label saying jasmine); I don't realize this until I've driven away and tasted it in my car. For this reason, I'm hesitant to go back this location specifically. To put things in context, I've been a long-time customer of T4 as well, which is a 10 minute drive away, and they have / never / gotten my order wrong, despite varying drink quality depending on the barista/location. Love even more than they have different toppings aside from the usual boba pearls (so boringgggggg). This review is strictly on the coffee milk tea with pearl. The day before, I had purchased a boba from another place and the drink was so disappointing, I had an urge to get another drink. Since I have never tried the drinks at Sharetea, I told my husband to come here after work to get me a boba. I told him to get me coffee milk tea with pearls. When he came home with the drink, I immediately took a sip. The drink was delicious. At other boba places, the coffee wasn't strong enough and you can't taste the tea. However, at this place, you can definitely taste the coffee with a hint of tea in the background. The pearls were perfectly chewy with just the right amount of sweetness. I'm not sure if I'll order from this location again but I will definitely order another drink from the Sharetea franchise. read more

Issa no for me. The location is convenient, right next to Safeway and Pizza Mikes. Overall, they have some decent tea options and competitive pricing. They don't however have popping boba. Been ordering their whole orange tea and loved it! Went there again yesterday ordered the same thing and it wasn't busy so I watched how they make the tea. I realized that they added so much orange syrup (the lady added at least 2-3 times) and lots of sugar... oh my! No wonder it tasted so good, I kept thinking their real fruit teas are the most healthy drinks but actually NO! It seems worse than just the simple regular milk tea. I still like Sharetea though, boba is chewy not like some other boba place. Will try other drinks in the future, hopefully I can find something more natural. read more

The Thai tea was good but the girl at the register was extremely awkward. I saw the special on the counter that says $4 Thai Milk Tea so I asked her what the regular price was. She said $4. I had to ask her how it is a special when it's selling for the regular price. Instead of answering my question, she started staring straight at me without saying anything for like 20 seconds. I was like what the heck is wrong with this girl???It's just a scam for advertising anything as a special when it's selling for regular price. She should've said something or asked the manager why it is advertising as a special if she didn't have the answer for it. Staring at a customer isn't gonna resolve any issues, right? I even asked if she was mad before I leave cause her behavior was unacceptable unless she was the owner and don't give a shit about the customers. I've been to the Milpitas location numerous times and my go to drink at Sharetea is always the Roasted Oolong with boba. For awhile, it was seriously the best and made so well with the nice aroma of Oolong. However, I started to notice that the drinks started to become more bland, lacking that Oolong flavor with a blend of creaminess and sweetness that makes it so delicious. Ever since, I stopped going to Sharetea since we now have so many different options in San Jose. Today I came across this Sharetea in Fremont and decided to give it a try after several months of not having it. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad drink but in my opinion still not that Roasted Oolong that I was hoping to get. I feel like it tasted more like a black tea with a hint of Oolong. My boyfriend got their Classic Pearl Milk Tea and we were asked green or black (he chose green) thinking it was like a Classic Pearl Milk Tea but as we got our drink, I could tell it would be different since the color wasn't brown. It definitely tasted like a reg green milk tea, just very creamy! Again, wasn't a bad drink, but not up to par with other boba joints in my opinion. I would go to the Union City location and I've had a couple poor experiences at that one. When my fiancé and I came to this location, the atmosphere was clean & nice! i had a sudden craving for ice cream and thought why not go to sharetea bc they sell ice cream as a topping. i walked in and asked for two scoops of ice cream and was honestly surprised that they let me order it. they had super cute topping cups as shown in the pics below. i dumped it into a water cup so it was easier to eat combined. they also provided long spoons that were really nice for keeping my hand clean. in conclusion if you want ice cream, i'd 100% recommend coming here to get a very decent amount of vanilla ice cream for $1. read more

I would not come here, service is very trash. Some of the employees are nice but a few of them including the leaders have a disgusting attitude. My drink was made incorrectly and she didn't add some ingredients, instead of remaking the drink she pour a plop out spilling away most of drink leaving less than what I payed for. I probably would've rated this Sharetea branch a 5 if they didn't discontinue my beloved Taro QQ. Yeah, I'm THAT girl that comes into the store to ask, "Do you have any Taro QQ?" and for the last 5 times I've visited, they've responded with "Sorry no." So much disappointment come with those two words...I finally asked the cashier last weekend if they will ever have it again because I was sick of being disappointed. From what she said, they discontinued it altogether. If anyone from Sharetea staff is reading this, is this true? Will I never really get to drink my favorite combo: matcha milk tea with taro QQ? Ranting and crying aside, I do like this Sharetea branch. They make their taro QQ the best and their boba (the few times I've gotten it) has also been good. I especially like their matcha milk tea and their blended matcha red bean with ice cream drink (so yummy!). I enjoy this Sharetea location. There's really no other boba options in this area. It looks like a bunch of high school kids work here, so service isn't always consistent due to inexperience, but it's usually friendly. I enjoy Sharetea in general because they're pretty good about adjusting your drinks to the way you like them. I especially like the kiwi fruit tea (sub boba for ai-yu jelly) at half ice and no sugar. It's a super refreshing drink on a hot day! The place is clean and new. My only complaint is the music has been a bit too loud during my last few visits. Maybe if it was later at night I wouldn't mind, but in the afternoon it was thumping a little too much for me (maybe I'm just getting old).
