They had portraits of the top drinks on the wall and that's how I chose the golden retriever. Service was fast and friendly. This drink was similar to the milk teas that Kung fu tea has. I got 80% sweet and less ice and that was perfect me. The golden retriever has 4 or so toppings included in it, so I got more toppings than Kung fu tea at a lower cost. The drink tasted very good and I was glad they gave me so many toppings with it. I ordered at 6:30pm and the bubbles were still chewy. That's my biggest complaint about my local kung fu tea is by the afternoon and evening the boba is rock hard. I make it a point not to go to them unless it's in the morning because of that. But this sharetea location had chewy boba even at 6:30pm. I'm referencing Kung fu tea as a comparison here because that's a local milk tea store I frequent. I'll be back to this sharetea location. Love that there's a bubble tea option in this strip mall. The free ramp parking can come in handy when it's too hot or rainy. It's next to a ton of restaurants to visit before or after a nice treat. There was a comfy sofa with a couple of relatively simple games under the coffee table that my toddler enjoyed. I absentmindedly left my purse on the couch before going to the Vietnamese restaurant next door. Luckily someone noticed and put it in the lost and found so when I came back in looking for it I got it back without anything missing inside. Cute place, the service was definitely friendly and helpful providing good recommendations. The coffee macaroon was very tasty, the mango was OK. Those were the only two I tried. This Sharetea just opened recently and so I had to try. I got the Okinawa milk tea with herbal tea. They originally make the wrong order for me but then they were quickly able to fix it and brought it to my table. Service was exceptional. They also sell the cutest stickers for $0.50. Kids would love this. The place was not as crowded when we came in but got a long line after 10 minutes of us coming in. Everything was great but not loving the parking situation since parking lot is always so crowded but there is a parking garage if you can't find a near by spot. THe only complain I have about this place is the trashcan placement. It is located in the corner by the cashier instead of by the door so if you want to throw your trash away, you'll have to go past the line of people to throw your trash away. Other than that, love the service and love the tea. read more

This place is dangerous for me because I work out at the World Gate gym. I cannot leave the gym, see a bubble tea place, and not get one! I made the mistake of trying for the first time and finding out that ShareTea tastes quite GOOD! Both my workout and wallet are in trouble! The place is super tiny but have a few seats to sit indoor. It's more of a take-it-to-go kind of place. Nothing wrong with that. It's bubble tea after all. Plus, the parking at the World Gate can be crazy so it's good to park for a few minutes and leave. I've tried the classic black tea and mango passion. So far, it's a 2 out of 2 win. I'll be trying something else next. The staff here is super friendly and also know that you can pick up tiny bubble tea stickers for a small fee! read more

Not the best first experience! I went there excited to try a new spot. I think the two people were new and one of them wasn't hygienic with making the drink. He also couldn't figure out how to get the drink right and kept going back and forth. I had already paid for the drink and ended up just walking out. I've been to plenty of Sharetea locations and never had issues, but the Herndon one is just on another level of bad. The manager Jenny is unbelievably unprofessional and it shows in how the whole place is run. She's rude, dismissive, and acts like customers are an inconvenience rather than the reason the business even exists. I've personally seen her argue with customers over small mistakes instead of just fixing them. She has this attitude like she's doing you a favor by serving you. The store constantly feels disorganized, drink orders come out wrong or missing toppings, sometimes drinks take forever even when the place isn't busy, and when you ask about it, you get an attitude instead of an apology. On one visit, they were completely unprepared for a catering order they had agreed to, and it turned into this big mess that clearly could've been avoided if management actually planned ahead. Another time, they were suddenly saying certain items couldn't be made after people had already paid for them. It's just constant confusion and last-minute changes, and the manager seems more interested in blaming someone else than fixing anything. The vibe in here is tense -- you can feel it. Even if you're just grabbing a drink, the whole place feels chaotic and unwelcoming. Drinks from other locations taste way better and come out way faster. This is the only Sharetea I've been to where I left annoyed instead of happy. Save yourself the frustration. Go to literally any other boba shop in the area -- you'll get better drinks and WAY better service. Heard the employees get paid minimum wage too! read more

I decided to give Sharetea another shot after a horrible first visit, thinking maybe it was just a one-time bad experience. But nope--turns out it's just consistently awful. The drink? Still terrible. Weak, watery, loaded with ice, and honestly just not worth the money. But what made this visit even worse--and honestly disgusting--was the way I was treated. The employee who took my order made a racist comment to me. I don't care how busy or stressed you are--there is zero excuse for that kind of behavior. It was blatant and offensive, and it completely ruined my day. Racism has no place anywhere, especially not in a customer-facing business. Also, the store is still severely understaffed. Just a couple people behind the counter trying to juggle everything. It's clear they're overworked and underpaid, and it creates a miserable atmosphere for both them and the customers. This place needs to take a long, hard look at how it treats both its customers and its employees. I won't be coming back, and I'll make sure others know exactly what kind of place this is. read more
