This place has good drinks but bad customer service, we got our orders wrong twice and when we told them about it they only apologized but didn't give us a refund or a free drink, which that's what other Boba places usually do, like Pengo. read more

Sharetea - Taro Pearl Milk - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Lake Forest, California

I have been to several Sharetea and I am very disappointed at the level of customer service this particular location provided. I love Sharetea and frequent them twice a week with my friends and family. However, when I asked for less cream at this location, I was told that they cannot adjust it because it will messed with their recipes. I am not asking them to change their recipes for all customers. I am only asking for my drink to be adjusted due to my taste and health. Customer service is to be able to cater to your customers and not be rude and provide excuses that do not make any sense. Less sugar and less ice does not drastically change the color of a drink. I am just wondering why other locations are able to do it but not this particular location. What is wrong with having a drink to your preference. If I do not have an issue with the intake of cream, I would not have ask for less cream. Does this location even care about their customers health!! This location is about 8 minutes from my house but I would rather drive 30 to 45 minutes to another location who truly care about their customers and health. read more

super nice people and has a great variety of drinks. they have all sorts of accommodations to people who are milk tea lovers to beginners who want to drink boba. i would say taste-wise, its not much different than ding tea, but its definitely better of the two. the taste of the teas don't really stand out as much and just taste like any regular milk tea. as with the other unique flavors, i feel like they only appeal to people who want to try something that isn't milk tea or for people who avoid milk teas. overall, would say this is a decent milk tea place for people who are lake forest area. read more

I was excited to try this place. Turned out it was waste of money. I ordered coffee milk tea and classic black milk tea with boba. Boba quality is just average. Classic milk tea tasted nothing special. But the coffee milk tea... omg that was the worst milk tea ever. I had few sips and couldn't even finished it. I couldn't taste coffee AT ALL. Instead the milk tea tasted like .. tea that you washed boba in it and strained the boba. And it has like very light like 5% of that cheap can coffee (maybe mr. brown?). I'm thinking maybe they didn't clean shaker well. So it mixed flavors with previous drinks they have been making when they made my coffee milk tea. It was horrible.. the order taker was really nice. Girls who actually makes drinks... they looked like they don't know well about drink recipes. I also ordered less ice for both milk tea. But the coffee milk tea has way more ice than the classic one. I understand it's not made by robot so it can be different. But this is franchise store should have some consistency with the recipe. read more

I'm so happy that we now have the best boba place in Lake Forest. We went there yesterday for their soft opening, and everyone's so nice. They were busy, but we got our order quickly. I think we only waited for about 7 minutes. I love their matcha with red bean. I added some boba pearls. The boba pearls were a little chewy, but still tasted delicious. I love this place so much. The staff is always very friendly and fast! There is not one drink on the menu that I haven't loved. The boba taste very fresh here too which is obviously important. I'm just sad that due to Covid I can't enjoy my drink inside but they do have outside tables which is nice :) any time I drive past it I have to come in for a tea! The location works for me & while I've been there a lot, I admit that the lack of new items & price increase have prompted me to stop by less often. Maybe add some plum or nectarine? Add fruits like mango or peach or passion? Not just kiwi? Not everyone likes Boba, so it's a pain to order a Family Drink then you're limited on what you can replace it w/. For ex: ideally I'd replace it w/ either aloe vera or lychee jelly, but I'm not allowed. Like I said, I still stop by, but not as often. read more

The experience is not getting any better. The app does not work, no confirmation code. I had to call the store 3 times before someone actually picked up only to tell me that I can't order over the phone and to go to Sharetealakeforest.com which I did but then the earliest available pick up time was an hour ahead. Since moving to the area, we've been looking for a good boba spot. I Love Boba. It wasn't until Share Tea opened! Coming from Garden Grove where there are boba spots pretty much in every corner it was hard to find one here. The customer service here is great!. it's something that always makes me feel welcome and keeeps me wanting to go back to a business. I love the fact that you can adjust the sweetness!. I enjoy my drinks half sweet. Our favorites are The blended Taro Milk tea with pudding. Mango passion fruit tea, and mango milk tea which seems to have little pulp pieces of mango. yummmmm!!. I've been to so many boba shops in OC and LA. Some of the closest boba shops near my house are Lollicup, Pengo, and Ding Tea, which aren't the best coming from someone who have tried too much boba. Ever since they opened and I'm craving boba I end up here. The workers are nice and helpful! One of the employees recommended me the mango mojito and it's so refreshing. After trying the mango mojito I decided to try the other flavors and let me tell you, the mojito series is one of my new summer must haves. Besides the mojitos, I've also tried they're milkteas and boba. The boba itself is chewy and fun to eat. The store just opened last week and is clean and follows the Covid safety guidelines. Ample parking and friendly staff. This will be my go-to tea spot for sure! read more

I've been to the Fountain Valley location multiple times when visiting family around the area. I was very excited this location opened in Lake Forest because it's closer to home. I wanted to wait a few months before I made a review because I don't usually review restaurants, but I have to say that I'm very impressed with Sharetea. The one-size-only cup confused me at first, but it's a really good size that doesn't feel like too little or too much. The workers are also really nice, and they prepare my drinks really quickly. All in all, good place, and I'll definitely come frequently whenever I want some boba. read more
