It's so sad that they changed the recipes....My favorite was Matcha Blend with red bean. They put vanilla ice cream, blend it with matcha, and red bean on the bottom. But the now don't even put red bean anymore (extra cost) or the use regular ice instead of ice cream. Good service and friendly staff. The boba is usually consistent, but the drinks are very sweet. I usually order fruit tea at 50% sweetness, but it's still too sweet--I'll try 25% next time. I have been supporting this business for years since it opened, but today I had a horrible experience and now I will not recommend Sharetea. First, several very good staff members left and the place does not provide the great customer service as it used to. These new employees do not know what they are doing, charging me extra for simply requesting to split the amount of boba in two cups. I'm disgusted that they nickel and dime; we are loyal customers that supported this location for years! The reason they gave is because there's more beverage if I reduce the amount of boba. That's the silliest thing I have heard!!! I always ask to reduce the amount of tea in my beverage and substitute with water; I don't see them reducing the cost since the beverage has less tea! What a joke this place has become! If Sharetea continues to treat their customers this way, and I've seen other comments about similar sentiments, they will eventually lose their customer base. Horrible customer service, it felt like we were invading a party of high school girls who were busy chatting and loudly giggling behind the counter, and one actually appeared to be the manager. We were the only customers and the four girls behind the counter were so loud that we could barely hear the person taking our order. Also, not even a simple "thank you" when we received our order. This is my favorite Boba place to order from off of DoorDash. Not only is it the cheapest, but after trying almost 20 different boba places I would have to say this is in my top 2! The fruit teas are not too sweet but not too bland, and they come with two added chewable pieces (whether it be lychee jelly, boba, popping boba, etc) for only $6.50?! So enjoyable, the only issue is the slight bitter after taste from most teas.. though it's hardly recognizable! You can also choose your ice level, sweetness level, and customize additional toppings. I ordered the Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea (roasted brown sugar) with boba. DELICIOUS. Just the right amount of sweetness without being too bitter/sweet, and the boba was soft and chewy. I highly recommend this one! My husband ordered the ginger milk tea because he loves ginger. Came here because I wanted a nice treat. We rarely go out unless it's for groceries and have a little baby, which makes it more difficult. Staff made me feel uncomfortable and bad about asking to change my drink after being led to order a fresh taro milk beverage that I didn't like or want. There was a miscommunication as I wanted a milk tea and the beverage I received was a slush drink. Paid about $6 and they didn't correct the amount charged or say anything when handing me the remade drink which also was hugely lacking and was about 75%ice. Literally took 3 sips and the drink was about 1/4 full.. I wasn't asked how I wanted my drink when they remade it. Won't be returning here. Sad because I really like boba tea and am new to the area and this was my first experience with Sharetea as a franchise. You can specify the sweetness level of your drinks, as well as how much ice you want. They have a very large menu of drink options; you're sure to find one you love! I've been to many boba tea shops in my time. I'd been wanting to try ShareTea. I had a few minutes while waiting my turn in line to try to decipher the menu. There's a big board, with a bunch of options, plus a few posters of specials, and right by the register there was a monitor that quickly rotated through the seasonal suggestions. The cashier was friendly but seemed impatient even when I told him it was my first time there. There were so many options and so many places to look at menu items that it just got too confusing. I even let another person in front of me as I didn't know what to select! I finally left without ordering. It's probably a good place but I got overwhelmed and gave up! My fav boba place!!! This place is great for a quick boba run, hanging out with friends, or studying! They have a shelf of games that you can play with friends when you're there. They also have WiFi and tables to do homework/ study. Great, clean environment! I always get the classic pearl milk tea. I saw the Frozen Bliss Menu and the staff explained the differences between all three and provided recommendations on the sweetness level for the Golden Retriever which I selected, so it's not too sweet. They make ordering so simple here with an easy to use menu. Start by choosing your category then flavor then decide how much ice and sweetness you want. They also let you sub in toppings which makes your drink super customizable. So many options too! I got a peach green tea with "less ice" and "80% sweetness". I chose to stick with the Aiyu jelly that came with my drink by default because I'd never had it before and while it was tasty, I think I prefer regular pearl boba. The aiyu jelly was still good though, like little jello pieces. I appreciated the social distancing/covid maneuvers they put in place. Everyone was wearing a mask, there was an extra table setup in front of the ordering counter to add more distance, and there was hand sanitizer to use if needed. read more
