I hate to do it but this place was bad and sad :( Came here on a Sunday evening to get some typical Football Sunday food like wings and fries. From the time we walked in, my friend and I had a feeling it was going to be a no-go but still gave them a shot. Two people were waiting for their food as the TV was blasting the news, so as we waited at the counter to be helped, no 1 came. We see the cook who also sees us and still no one was called up. About 5 mins later, a guy takes our order for 3 whole wings & rice and 6 party wings w/fries and dessert. With no choice but to watch the news and miss some of the game, our food was ready about 15 mins later. I wish we opened it right there because to my surprise, huge feathers were still on the whole wings. Yes, they can be pulled off but I was grossed out to see this. Then my friends party wings were undercooked. They had to be put back in the oven and the fries were just blah. The cumin rice was decent and the strawberry cake cheesecake looked better then it tasted. My friend later had the bean pie and said it was just ok. We won't be returning and it's unfortunate because this place could be packed with their vast menu, better customer service and more appealing tv options to watch while waiting [like football on a Sunday]. read more

Love this place!! I'm a regular and always have no complaints. The food always puts a smile on my face. however, I realize the ones Complaining are just picky, uppity, people with a helper god complex. Makes sense to do area. with higher income comes entitlement who forget where they came from.. Don't let those reviews stop you from coming. Tried the 2piece fried fish weekly combo which was 10 bucks! Can't beat that. The food came out quick and fresh. I enjoyed it. The location is located in a shopping center with a large parking lot. They also had seating inside, which was nice. Definitely recommend. read more

Yet today 3-14-2025 both BOGO The wings and fries were tough, overcooked and cold , it's like they just floured it and put it in the grease and forgot it . I asked for Mambo sauce on it but Denied! Yet it helped me notice and taste it was overcooked and tough. This was my first meal of the day!! since I've been sick and could barely enjoy either item even if dipped in sauce!. Nopeeee Trashed it , should've just got a Double Fish from McDonald's Money Wasted!!. How can you cook Fish so well but miss the mark on chicken so disappointing and dissatisfied. I went here on Sunday 7/13 for lunch and ordered a jumbo fried shrimp platter. Several hours latter I become violently ill and discovered I was experiencing food poisoning. This lasted over 48 hours, I will never eat there again. This is the only food I ate the entire day so I know this is where the problem came from. read more

This is the nastiest shit I ever tasted! I'm from Chicago a d Sharks there is very good! This is a travesty. I ordered 2pc of Catfish fried hard. I don't know what kind of fish they are serving up, but is definitely NOT catfish! They should be ashamed, this is absolutely some sort of man made substance. The tartar sauce was in a package (suspect) and tastes more like mayonnaise. They would not allow me Mumbo sauce because I was not dining in, and they are selling 8$ slices of cake. Nah! I ordered the catfish nuggets with extra seasoning, tartar sauce, and ranch. Friend ordered the chicken gyro with grilled peppers, onions, lettuce, tomato, and extra tzatziki sauce. Never again. The chicken gyro was awful. Chicken a weird color, very fatty, and dripping in some liquid. The tomato and lettuce was completely wilted due to the heat of the chicken and the tzatziki sauce was nowhere to be found. We tried one bite of the chicken (the most done, normal looking piece we could find) and threw it out. The look, smell, taste, and texture were all problematic. The catfish nuggets were a good size, tasty and crispy (one star) BUT the seasoning requested was missing. The tartar sauce was premade squeeze packets and not enough for the fish. This was a random selection as I wanted some seafood from Maryland location. Service: On this day there was only two people working on the front counter with seem like two people working the kitchen. Service was really good, and they were vastly willing to assist as I was new to their establishment. Unfortunately, they did not give a great explanation of the crab cakes being sold separately as a dinner and not just the cakes. Food: Exceptional selection. I was satisfied with the choices they provided as everything was cooked to order. The fish was cut into small pieces, sitting on top of a bed of fries and surprise of two slices of bread at the bottom of your meal. It was okay seasoning on the fish fries was cooked without tasting burnt or cooked in old grease. There as great selection of drinks as well. The crab cakes was a little too breaded from me but overall still pretty good. They have a great platters that will accommodate a big family or medium size party. Overall: I would recommend this restaurant. I would be a little concern if it is little busy because you could be waiting for a while as all orders are cooked to order and there is not a lot staff. Pack your patience and just enjoy some great seafood. read more

maybe it's the east coast in me but i moved to LA and routinely find myself missing the crunch of sharks fried fish.... i get it on salad sometimes too but the rice is definitely more filling. their grilled / fried fish salads and platters are my favorite. traditional wings are hot and extra crispy... their breading is so unique (the only reason i cant go somewhere else in LA ). just don't like the party wings. read more

SERVICE This was my third visit and I was shocked and the attitude of the younger/manger owner. There was a misunderstanding regarding an order, and the customers simply asked for it to be corrected. Unfortunately, the situation escalated when the owner/manger younger individual became loud and rude, insisting that they were wrong, even though I witnessed the entire exchange, which was about a mix-up between rice and fries. I intervened when he approached the young lady's table after having a similarly disrespectful conversation with another woman. He was being dismissive and condescending, and I felt it was important to step in. I told him that no one should be spoken to in such a manner and that I would not stand by and let it continue. After that, he calmed down, and we were able to have a constructive conversation that helped resolve the situation. Both issues were addressed, and everything went smoothly afterward. I just want to make sure this isn't a pattern of behavior and encourage others to report any similar experiences. We cannot tolerate this kind of conduct in our community or business, and we must take a stand against it. read more

When you come to a spot like this, you can't expect a 5 star meal. I ordered a shrimp po boy combo with extra remouloude sauce (which they didn't give me) but it wasn't a terrible sub. The shrimp were small compared to a few other spots I've been to that offer this same sub. The fries were crispy, but the sub had lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. I wish it had more sauce, but again my expectations weren't high coming in the door. The staff was friendly, even though they didn't put my extra sauce with my order. There's plenty of seating if you want to eat your food there, but I wanted to just go home and enjoy the food comfortably. I won't say I won't return, but in my opinion there's better options in the area. read more

Sharks is the only dmv spot I crave when I go back to socal was back in the area this summer and had to go back to get my fill. I ate DOWN A sweet potato pie (I actually got 2 and froze one for my flight), grilled salmon with the yellow rice, fried flounder salad, and a crab cake. My food was out quickly and I ate it in restaurant with extra lemon pepper (something about the sharks one is so good) and I love that they leave extra shakers of it out. Not anymore, their menu is deceiving and despite it reflecting comes with fries, it doesn't and they don't honor their menu. Sharks is clean and bright. Staff is friendly and polite. We tried their fried whiting. We asked for it to be fried hard. The person taking the order stated well done and I heard him tell the cook well done. However, when we got home we realized the fish was not crispy like we asked. We had to put fish in the air fryer to cook longer. The fish was seasoned well and good. I will just have to let them know to fry longer next time. read more
