This review is only for their quotes. Two months ago, I got a quote for about $450 to clean my carpet and wood floor. Now I am ready to book the appointment, the manager over the phone quoted $500 to do the job and offered to talk to the owner for a better price. Later the manager got back to me saying the owner won't do it for less than $550. I am greatly surprised as I have never had a business give me a price and later come back with a higher price. The whole thing leaves a very bad taste as they raised their price about $100 from the initial quote and the manager's quote is not even valid. If the manager is not qualified to give a valid quote, the owner should not have the manager answer calls. To respond to the manager's comments below, you are trying to discredit me by saying that I am "confused" while I am not. You don't have a record of the quote two months ago probably because we did not book anything and you did not ask my address or name, the quote was based on square footage. I talked to you guys and was even referred to your Instagram to check your videos and photos. I would not have wasted my time checking your IG if I knew I would be up-quoted twice when calling back. The manager Sofia said they'd be out here by 10am. 10:30 rolls around and she said the cleaners were running late and he'd be here by 11am. Okay, no prob. I chose Sharks after digging through several listings and reviews, and I feel I truly made the right choice. They showed up on schedule, took multiple precautions to protect our walls and newel posts, and did an amazing, better-than-expected job. In general, the carpet looked fine before they came, but we had a couple of those spots that accumulate over time after you use one of those spot cleaners, and a new pet emesis stain that we needed removed. You know how companies always like to get onsite and then go "Oh, that's worse than we thought. We'll need an additional fee?" Then you're torn between principles vs. just paying an extra $50 because you don't want the hassle of scheduling a new company? Not with these guys. They said "No hidden fees" and they mean it. He did warn me that some types of stains might not come out completely and that he wouldn't know for certain until they started, but it was to set expectations and not to solicit more money. These guys are proud of the work they do, and it shows. They conduct themselves very professionally, but the pride of a job well done was palpable as he showed me a photo after he cleaned half of a hallway to show "before and after". It was like one of those power-washing-porn videos, I couldn't believe how dingy our carpet was in comparison to a freshly cleaned patch. These guys were FANTASTIC! My mother has her carpets and sofa cleaned 1-2 times per year. She saw an Ad for The Sharks on Face Book and decided to venture out from the company she typically hires because of their stellar reviews and crazy-reasonable pricing. Roman and his associate were on time, respectful, engaging and THOROUGH. Our large area rugs have always been left in-place by "the other guys". But, Roman insisted that the proper way to clean them was to move them outside, allowing them to dry properly instead of saturating the carpet below. My mother was concerned about about how she would bring the heavy and bulky carpets back in once dry as it was just her . Roman, sweetheart as he is, offered to COME BACK at the very end of his long day to ensure the large area rugs were brought back inside after drying so my mother would not struggle.....wow...wonderful guys. Not only that, but our carpets have never looked cleaner. Two black stains plagued our bonus room carpet for years. "The other guys" could not get them out over the course of several bi-annual visits throughout the years. Those stains were no match for The Sharks and are FINALLY gone.
