Absolutely terrible experience with Sharper Service Solutions. LG sent them out for a warranty issue on our refrigerator because it has been giving off a strong chemical smell that is getting into our food and ice. Before calling for service, we already replaced the air filter, replaced the water filter, emptied the fridge, and cleaned everything thoroughly. The smell still wouldn't go away. The technician, John, showed up, opened the refrigerator, immediately acknowledged the smell, and even said he had smelled it before on other units. But then basically shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know what caused it. His solution? Empty and clean the refrigerator again, unplug it, and send them pictures. That was it. John came across as condescending, dismissive, and completely uninterested in actually troubleshooting the issue. After a few minutes he just left without doing anything helpful. I called the company afterward hoping to get somewhere with customer service, but they wouldn't help because the technician hadn't filed his report yet. I made it very clear that John will not be welcome back in our home. The rep from Sharper then recommended that I request a different service company through LG. Out of curiosity I checked their BBB reviews afterward and it was basically wall-to-wall 1-star reviews, which honestly matched our experience perfectly. At this point, I honestly question why LG continues using this company for warranty service calls. When a technician openly admits he has encountered the same smell before, offers no real troubleshooting, and leaves without attempting to diagnose the problem, something is seriously wrong with the level of service being provided. This experience wasted our time, left the issue unresolved, and gave us zero confidence that Sharper Service Solutions has any interest in actually helping customers. read more

LG chose this company to perform a warranty service call on our clothes dryer, which was leaking water. Water coming from a clothes dryer! Ivan, the technician, showed up to our home and started packing up to leave after performing some initial tests. My wife questioned why he was leaving. He said there was nothing wrong with the dryer. He had concluded that the dryer worked fine and the problem was that the dryer was not venting properly. We have lived in our home for 19 years. The first dryer lasted 18 years. I personally clean the dryer vent, and the dryer vent was cleaned less than 30 days ago. This dryer worked fine for 10 months and then started drying poorly and leaking water onto our floor. Further, I know that the air pressure out of the dryer is very poor. I explained this to the service technician, and he was not agreeing with me, even though he had no way of measuring the airflow out of the dryer. Finally the service technician agreed to replace the blower in the dryer, but he continued to act rudely to me and my wife because we questioned his initial diagnosis. I told him that I did not want him back in our home. He could order a replacement blower, but I wanted somebody else to install it. At that point, he refused and said he would not order the replacement part if he was not going to install it. I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy. Well, on second thought, I would wish this company on my worst enemy, but that would involve my worst enemy having an appliance problem. Too complicated. Anyway, you get my point. We had an error message on our Electrolux stove, and when we called the company, they sent us to Sharper Service Solutions (MN) for the warranty service. It was a terrible, terrible experience. First, they canceled appointments two times in a row, and when they did finally show up, they had the wrong part. But the technician had to open up the stove to realize that he had the wrong part. He apparently did something wrong, because the oven went from working (mostly) to not working at all. He said he'd be back within a week or two. Finally, after being without the oven for a month, and calling the company a couple of times, the technician came out again (same guy) and installed what he said was the right part, but that one immediately blew up and started smoking. So he disconnected some wires and left the defective part in the stove and said he'd have to order another part. So, now we're not only without the oven but without the stove top, too. At that point, we finally called Electrolux again and they're sending us to a different appliance repair company. Sharper Service Solutions in MN doesn't seem to know what they're doing. Really, really bad service. I do NOT recommend them. Run away if you are sent to them for warranty service! read more

They were assigned and accepted an order from LG for warranty repair. After not contacting me 2 hours into the service window I reached out to them and asked what was going on. They responded that they would not be able to see me until Monday (today is Thursday). When I asked why no one had contacted me earlier in the day to tell me this so I could attempt to have lg find a different provider he hung up on me. read more

Bill (or William?) was fantastic! He showed up right within the timeframe suggested and got to work fixing the boot seal on our Samsung washer. I attempted to do it myself over the last week and didn't quite get it right. The whole process took him less than an hour (I think?) and he also gave me some EXTREMELY helpful tips on avoiding future issues with our Samsung washer. I had no idea I needed to clean off the glass door on front, as it can lead to tears. We also ran through a diagnostic, which showed me the washer was otherwise operating correctly. He was professional and helpful throughout all. I hope that if we need help that we'll get him again! read more

After going for almost a week without my brand new washer, William missed the appointment yesterday, apparently due to a personal issue. Said he would be here this morning early (between 9-11am). Did not show up multiple days in a row. They can't give you appointment windows until 10am and they still no show. Avoid at all costs

I definitely recommend Sharper Service Solutions. I recently moved into my new home to find out that my dryer was not working. John showed up and was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It took him less then 15 minutes to diagnose the issue and resolve it. If you want quick fast service with results I would call Sharper Service Solutions. read more

This company makes me feel I was back in a small town. I did not get the WS service plan mostly because of the cost to I had to call Electrolux for fix my 2 month old washer. Sharper Service Solutions called me within hours and set up the appointment. Ivan arrived and efficiently yet effective troubleshooted the issue and ordered the drain pump. After 4 business days, I contacted him that the drain pump was here and he returned the next day. Installed and fixed our washer. I used to be a HVAC technician now more into smart buildings (controls) so know a little about these machines... little.. Ivan instructed me on different sensors and controls that I was unaware of. Just an outstanding technician. May have to check on other services for my appliances. read more

This has been literally the worst customer experience I have ever had. Multiple no call no shows after waiting between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM. Started a warranty claim with Frigidaire on 11/3/22. William of Sharper Service and Paul Manning the owner have both been refusing to return messages. William the technician was a no call no show 5 times already. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them. Our induction cooktop (under warranty) stopped working, and the manufacturer arranged for Sharper Service Solutions to make a service call. Sharper called us within an hour to make an appointment, which was only 2 business days later. The tech was prompt and, unlike some others we've had, was experienced in servicing induction cooktops. It turned out that no repair was needed--evidently water on the countertop had gotten under the cooktop, and once it dried, all was OK. But the tech explained what we could do to prevent this from happening. Overall, Sharper was clearly motivated to give quick and effective service. read more
