They replaced a part in my refrigerator in November and told me the part had a 1 year warranty. About a month ago the part started malfunctioning again. When I contacted them about getting it fixed again I was told they no longer have a technician in my in my area and I would need to find another company to do the repair. I had a technician from another company come out (which cost $130). They said they couldn't honor the warranty because it wasn't through them and I would need to contact Sharper to see what could be done. When I called I was told that they DO in fact have a technician in my area and I need to schedule them to come out and do the repair in order to have the warranty honored. Obviously I said no since I had already paid the other company more than what the warranty would have covered. I'm pretty pissed off that I'm having to pay for a part that should've been covered with a warranty and I definitely won't ever use Sharper Service Solutions ever again. Terrible company!!! They charged me $120 just for a quote to repair our LG washer and dryer (LG is also terrible) and told me that the $120 would be applied to the repair. The quote was required by a 3rd party warranty company otherwise I never would have paid the $120. Nothing was mentioned that I only had 30 days to apply the credit. Long story short, because the warranty company took forever to respond to the claim, it passed the previously undisclosed 30 day date (side note there is no mention anywhere on the quote / recipe about this supposed 30 day clause). When I called to schedule the repair they told me it would not be credited to the repair. I asked for an exception given the fact they did not disclose this to me previously and they said no. I called the service dept of the manufacturer of my dishwasher that is still under warranty. They sent my order to Sharper Service Solutions (SSS) for service and repair. SSS sent me a text msg stating there will be a $120 service charge, to which I replied, I would not be paying the serve fee unless the problem is not covered under the manufacturer warranty and sent them the manufacturer msg, "All manufacturing defects are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. If the technician discovers the root cause is not from a manufacturing defect, you may be responsible for any service charges." SSS msg'd me "Please call 'the manufacturer' and have them update the information on the dispatch as they sent it to us as an Out-of-warranty request." Which I did and informed SSS of my communication with the manufacturer. Four days later SSS texts msg: "Hi, this is Sharper Service Solutions. About the repair on your Dishwasher, unfortunately we are not able to work on hard-wired dishwashers in the State of Washington that are no longer under the original manufacturer's warranty. We will refer the repair back to reassign it to another service provider that can send a technician who can work on hard-wired units, but we encourage you to give them a call as well to request a different service provider." SSS did not call me to discuss this issue that is not accurate. My dishwasher is under warranty and it is not hard wired. It plugs into an electrical outlet behind the unit. I immediately replied to SSS with this information with no responds. Two days later I messaged them again with the same statement. They responded this time with "We already sent the request back to your warranty to be reassigned to another service provider." SSS clearly knew it was under warranty because I sent them the manufacturers message that it was under warranty. SSS didn't speak with me directly to attempt to resolve any warranty concerns. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Nightmare, low end, and fraudulent. ALL calls whether 888 or 503 go through an offshore call center that is not only dysfunctional, they actually lie--so bizarre. Example: Today they told my husband they spoke to me on the phone and scheduled a service visit. Except, they DIDN'T actually speak with me. I have been wrestling with them for a week. At least 16 phone calls back and forth. (Tech named Benjamin was able to diagnose the problem, order new parts and fix it 6 days later. Had to throw all contents away. Praying it works moving forward without another issue.) I found where the "local office" is, though there is no way to call it. Not even the service tech is able to call the office. All his communications go through the offshore call center, as well. Note: Paul is a call center flunky offshore, NOT an employee. I am not confident the supposed Supervisor "Travis" exists either, though I did find a LinkedIn matching the name/company. I would never hire such a company, but because our service is under a warranty, the warranty company dispatches the service company without telling you who it is. We had no control over who was hired. Judging by the piles of bad reviews on Yelp, Facebook and the BBB, I suspect the owners are running a bit of a scam operation. I saw Sharper Service mentioned on some Home Depot complaints, so clearly they're getting their business from third-party warranty companies as opposed to consumers electing to hire them directly. I plan to contact the owners via certified letter. I will enclose printed copies of other complaints, including the BBB. Note: we purchased our appliance from Standard TV and Appliance and purchased an extended warranty with the understanding they would provide any needed service. Sharper service was called from the manufacturer to resolve a dishwasher cracked panel under warranty. They resolved the issue and also investigated the loud whining motor because it squeaked. They diagnosed a bad bearing and approved a new motor under warranty. My dishwasher runs quiet now! I appreciated that they took my complaint as valid issue and solved it so quickly. I resolved to buy another dishwasher in less than 1 year but I thought this was a ridiculous option. We had them out on a referral from a neighbor. Their technician came out and "fixed" our washer - it wasn't properly dispensing detergent. They sold us a new "pump" ($200) and came out and installed it ($100). After two weeks of use we determined it did not fix the issue. We called another company to come take a look, but the person was reluctant to come take a look at the issue. He wasn't even able to give us an idea over the phone what it could be. After waiting over a week and laundry piling up, we called Mike. Thank goodness we did! He knew what our issue was when we described it over the phone. Without hesitancy, he came to take a look. This guy was parked outside our house 10 minutes before our appointment time and helped us on the dot, 7am. Super punctual! It took him 10 minutes to confirm what he thought was the problem. He was very quick to order the part we needed and had flawless communication. He came over again, on time, at 7am and was done with fixing our washer hose in 10-15 min. As many have said, "if I could give zero stars I would." Typically, in the past, my wife and I did not purchase extended warranties for appliance purchases or any purchase for that matter. Fortunately, in this case we did for our 05/29/2022 Maytag washer and dryer purchase from Lowes (Hillsboro Oregon). Unfortunately, purchasing an extended warranty is something you must do as it appears "Designed Obsolescence" does exist. You may end up being screwed if you do not buy the extended warranty. Again, this is unfortunate but, what do consumers do? As mentioned we purchased the washer and dryer on 05/29/2022. The washer is now breaking down and we needed service. It is not important to elaborate on what the problem is but we contacted Lowes, regarding the extended warranty. They sent out a service contractor (Sharper Service Solutions) that I would not recommend for any type of service based on our experience. The service technician they sent out told me his name was "Zepher." I cannot verify if that is his real name or if I am spelling it correctly. Nonetheless, on his first visit (please note "first visit") he poorly diagnosed the problem. He simply said, "this is typically the problem" and ordered a part. On the second visit (please note "second visit") he simply slapped in the part that was ordered. In short, it did not solve the problem, so we had to call them out again. On the third visit (please note "third visit") "Zepher" was arrogant, flippant and combative because I questioned his diagnosis. We always wash in cold water; however, we do have both hot and cold water hoses hooked up to the washer as we use hot for sanitizing every month. In the meantime we always use and select cold water wash. The technician's (Zypher) diagnosis to our problem was that the washer did not like that the hot water valve was turned off. Again we always select cold water wash so why would the washer have a problem with the hot water valve being off? I said, " Unless the manual specifically states the hot water and cold water valve must always be on no matter what water temperature wash is selected, how is this relevant?" I believe he took offense and said, "Don't argue with me, I have been doing this for a number of years." He took offense and decided he wanted to leave. I had no problem with him leaving as I did not want a technician working on a problem who thought I was clearly ignorant or incapable of diagnosing a problem myself. I contacted Sharper Service Solutions regarding this issue and the problems with the service technician (Zepher). After a number of back-and-forth phone conversations, it appears they did not want to resolve the issue. They sided with the technician and blamed me, the customer who paid a lot of money for an appliance they wanted to get fixed. Astonishingly they told me to contact a different service company for my warranty issues. Sadly I need to contact Lowes on fixing our washer with the extended warranty plan we have purchased. Hopefully there is another service provider Lowes contracts with. Bottom line, I would not recommend Sharper Service Solutions or technician Zephyr for any services. As of my review, Sharper Service's Solutions rating is a low 2.5 and I understand why. In my opinion their rating should be lower. They should not be in business and should not be a contractor with a large reputable company like Lowes. Hopefully Lowes will address my complaints. Lowes you need to do better. People are paying a lot of money for the stuff you are selling and the service providers you contract with need to be upstanding. I do not recommend Sharper Service Solutions. read more

Service was good to a point. Followup from Service Manager, Travis, and his boss, Paul, is horrible....... My freezer stopped making ice and wasn't cooling. Called Whirlpool and they had Cameron come out from Sharper Service. He knew right away what the problem was and we ordered the parts. He had the parts shipped to my home. Received that Friday, 2 days after he was there so great service there. He came back on Monday Feb 10, 2025 and installed the part noticing that there was a a lot of ice build up, he asked for a towel to catch the ice and water. There was a lot so I asked if he needed an other towel or bowls to put the ice in and he replied, no, the ctach pan underneith would catch the run off and evaporate.....so I took his word for it. The next morning, Feb 11, 2025, I walked into the kitchen to my surprise, water all over my floor. The catch pan is only so big and all the run off ended up overflowing onto my kitchen floor. So I called Sharpers and spoke with a operator and asked to have a tecch come back out to see what was going on.....I explained to her that all the runoff is now on my floor and need to get someone here asap as it's going to ruin my floor. So she tried to tell me that it was my fault......what?? Then she tried to tell me that a new ticket needed to be written. I was like no.....this happened from when your tech was here and him not taking the extra towels and bowls that I offered. Then she said we can have someone out by Thursday.....lol....omg, what part did she not understand that it is going to ruin my floor. I finally asked to speak with the manager, she was rude and said transfering you now and then the phone hung up. So I called 2 more times the same day and sked to speak to the Servixe Manager, Travis. I was informed that a message has been sent to him and he would be bacck to me that afternoon. Nothing....no phone call back , no messages, nothing. Called them again Feb 12, 2025 to speak to Travis, again told that he would contact me that afternoon. Again, nothing.....so called late afternoon, same thing. They finally sent the same tecch back out to get pics of the floor and how bad it was ruined. He sent the pics to Travis, called him and explained that Travis would be in touch with me.......here we are, 3 days later and a bunch of phone calls and still no calls from Travis. So on Friday morning, Feb 14, 2025, I called Sharpers again and this time asked to speak to Travis' boss, Paul. I was told that a message/email was sent to Paul and travis yet again and that they would make aure they got ahold of me that afternoon. As you could guess......no phone calls or messages from either one of them. I am being put off by them with the hopes I would let this drop. Not happening. My kitchen floor is ruined and needs to be refloored now.....I will not let this one go. We are talking big bucks to get it replaced. So next, try and find their info in Oregon and file a claim against their company. read more

Was promised a call before 9am, got it with a two hour window and Zee showed up within that window. He had to order parts which came to the house in two days. We had a Tuesday appointment scheduled but I wrote the company to tell them the parts had arrived on Friday. They wrote back and asked if I'd like a Sunday appointment. We said absolutely. The next morning on Wednesday at 9am I was contacted and told my service tech would be out between 12-2pm. Absolutely no prior notice as to what day the service was scheduled, Like maybe a couple days so we could arrange our schedule to be home. I said we could not make that work as we needed at least a couple days notice. I requested an afternoon appt. As my wife is out of town and I work . The following Monday I was contacted and told the soonest was the next day, again, I said only the afternoon would be an option. Frigidaire assigned this company to us because they had the soonest appointment. After waiting almost a month later from the initial appointment for parts and another appointment the job wasn't finished. I was unable to be home and supervise so my parents were there. We had a water build up at the bottom of the freezer. The drain tube needed to be replaced. The service tech told my parents he was unable to install the tube because it would take 2 days to thaw out. 2 days!!! And they had to buy coolers and unload all food from the fridge to thaw out. He also mentioned it would cost them $89 an hour if he had to get the ice out. Let me tell you we had this problem before and had another company out. This company and service tech were VERY helpful. The guy asked for a towel and hair dryer and got the ice block out at the bottom of the fridge in about 30 min. When I came home that night I broke up the ice and had it out in 15 min. When I called the company the next day to explain all this they were very unsympathetic, and just said this is our next appointment. Also, the tech told my parents he would follow up with me and he never did. So I called Frigidaire back and said I still need the drain tube installed but will wait for the previous company to return and never want to deal with Sharper Service Solutions again. I also mentioned to be sure they don't recommend them again. Who has time to waste to make 3 appointments and wait around for such incompetence. Very rarely do I post 2 star reviews and call someone out by name but felt it was necessary. STEVE you should NOT be in a customer facing position!!! The most inconsiderate scheduling for a service company I have worked with! Ice maker on LG Frig, under warranty. On 3/20/25 LG scheduled appointment with Sharper Service Solutions (SSS) for 3/24. SSS subsequently texted me that they needed to change the appt to 3/26 giving me an "all day" window and would call me the morning of with a two hour window. On 3/26 at 8:45am I had not received a call so I called them. They said the technician was not available that day and we needed to reschedule. Rescheduled for 4/1 with the understanding that I was available in the morning until 12noon on 4/1. They said they would advise the technician but again they wouldn't let me know a time window until the morning of. On 4/1 a technician called at 8:38am and said he would be here between 3-5pm. I explained to him the conversation with the scheduler previously. He said he would talk to scheduling and call me back within an hour. By 10:05 still no call back so I called scheduling. Again they wanted to reschedule and for me to block an entire day with them calling me the morning of with a two hour time window. So, we rescheduled for 4/7, again I explained I could be there anytime in the morning until 1pm, they said they would advise the technician. On 4/7 the technician called at 8:20 to let me know he would be here between 2-4pm. Really! I explained my frustration, the technician said he would see what he could do to possibly move his schedule around and call me back within 30 minutes. I explained if we have to do it later in the day I need to arrange for someone to be here. At 9:35 still no call back, I called scheduling, spoke with Albi. He tried to contact the technician unsuccessfully. Told me he would keep reaching out to him and get back with me as soon as possible. At 10:43 still no call back so again I called and spoke with Mel. Though pleasant to speak with, the same routine. I have no idea if I will ever see a technician? What an incredibly frustrating company to deal with. A part went out on my stove that is new and came with my house I purchased in June. Still under warranty, so went through Whirlpool's website on 10/1 to set up a service appointment which was scheduled for 10/4. I had no say in when the scheduling of the time would be other than "A technician will contact you on day of appointment before 8am to schedule a 2 hour window for the repair day of the appointment." So you have no idea when they will be at your house and you have to block out an entire day. Tech came that day, couldn't fix the issue. Ordered a part sent to my house. I received a text from their scheduler a few days later who said they have time on 10/11 available for the technician to come and install the part. I asked for a later appointment time because I work swings and nights and was working until 2am the night before. Scheduler said, "Sorry, the tech will try to accommodate you but no guarantees. He will text you at 8am to tell you when he's there." So woke up after sleeping 5ish hours to a text saying he would be there between 10-12. He shows up, the part is wrong, and says he'll order a different part. I received a text from the scheduler again to schedule an appointment. Again, they do not ask if you are available or give you options. They just say "We will be there on this day." Gave me an option for 10/20. I had things to do that day, but they had no other options, and I was getting frustrated so just dealt with it. Again got the "A technician will contact you on day of appointment before 8am to schedule a 2 hour window for the repair day of the appointment." text and again had to block off the whole day just to figure out when he will come. Shows up on 10/20, and again it is the wrong part. I get a message today 10/21 around 2pm saying they can send a tech out on 10/26 to allegedly fix the issue for good this time. I have not received any new parts yet for the issue either. I tell the scheduler I am working the night of 10/25 and 10/26, so can I be the first appointment of the day. The scheduler responds around 4:30 and says "No can do, we can ask him to accommodate you, but we make no guarantees." So I say I need a different day. Scheduler says 10/27 and I say no because it's the same issue and I can do it if I can be the first appointment of the day. They say no can do. I said I can do 10/28, 10/29, 10/30. Get told 10/28 not available and they don't work weekends and that if I work maybe I should have someone come to the house to let the tech in whenever he feels like showing up. So I tell the scheduler that this is incredibly frustrating. Scheduler says they have been more than accommodating. I give them some more dates I am available and get no response until 5:29pm on 10/21 (Friday) which says they cannot do those dates. I respond again, and it's 5:30pm, so the response is "We are closed and will not be open again Monday morning." So now it's been 3 weeks, 3 visits with a 4th pending for who knows when, and zero accountability and zero accommodation from this incompetent business. My dishwasher was repaired and now is no longer leaking. Milan did a great job and was kind and resolved my issue.

This had to be one of the most unnerving experiences I've had with a service technician. Not only was the technician rude, he didn't listen - dismissed my comments, and didn't properly diagnose the issue...but was certain to take the diagnostic fee even though the issue with my washer was unresolved. First, the tech assigned was rude and quick to dismiss what I was telling him: the washer was unbalanced in the spin/rinse cycle. Regardless, of whether I washed towels, delicates, bed linens, regular normal clothes, the machine would shake violently. The tech said it's normal and should dissipate. I explained that after several loads Sunday, the noise never did dissipate. The tech rain one drain/spin cycle, looked at the back, and front, and then said there was nothing wrong with the machine. I asked, no implored, him to run a full cycle to fully evaluate the issue. I started the cycle, he didn't pay any attention - quick to try to get the card to receive the diagnostic fee. The washer was displaying the same unbalanced issue I described when he hurried down the stairs and left my house. He indicated in his notes that there wasn't an issue, but refused to let the full cycle finish to be certain. Sure enough, the machine was unbalanced and began to emanate a smell like something was burning. He didn't check the bearings or anything else that could have been causing the issue. When I called to discuss the issue, thinking Sharper had some way to validate their tech's work, I was told they only have one tech so what he says goes. This is outrageous!!! What kind of quality control is that? So, the tech doesn't do his job and no one from Sharper is willing to confirm that he did his job correctly. The only thing they tell you is to call another company instead of trying to handle the matter with professionalism. You can't get the diagnostic fee back even though the service was terrible and have no recourse from the company to try to write the wrong. And the so-called service people on the phone actually say "There's nothing I can do for you." There's no other tech in my area so this one's word stands even if the issue persists, yet the tech doesn't want to finish the cycle to complete a more thorough diagnosis. I am so disappointed that the manufacturer recommended I call this company as their trusted servicer, because this tech's work is not a good representation of quality, ethical work. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I see positive reviews, and I am thinking the encounter could have been handled differently. An additional, 10 minutes (I believe was on the counter) to confirm that there wasn't an issue...when the issue re-surfaced during the rinse/spin cycle. See update below: They sent a tech out to fix a fridge that was getting too cold. He butchered the fridge, left screws all over the floor. He then "fixed" it when the part came in, but instead of things freezing, the fridge was warm. Upon calling the company they said they'd come out again 4 days later to "fix" their fix. The same tech came out, pulled off a housing, left more screws everywhere and said he "wouldn't tighten it up" (the housing cover) because he would have to be back with another part. After he left, whatever he did caused the entire unit to stop working. Freezer and fridge side. And the water dispenser no longer worked. When calling the company to tell them this tech caused a catastrophic failure by his "fix" they said they'd contact him to find out what he did and more info and call back. After no callback for hours, we called again. Turns out their phone lady left NO remarks in the service request. After calls back and forth, The guy we talked to said there was nothing they could do to fix it, (even though the freezer had worked fine before the third visit) and to call the home warranty company. The phone guy also gave us the phone number for manager Paul, who didn't call back after a message was left. We spent hours on the phone with the warranty company who eventually decided to just replace the entire unit. While cleaning out spoiled food that couldn't fit in a cooler the following day, the housing that was left unsecured fell and exposed the circuit board, wires, etc. This hit my dad on the arm and electrocuted him. Thankfully, he seems to be ok although it scared him and me. As the freezer had stopped working from that third visit, things were wet and leaking (hence why we were cleaning it out) so there was water that could have conducted the electricity and made it so much worse. My thoughts went immediately to if my younger nephew (who is typically here visiting this time of year) got shocked, or someone with other medical conditions. It looks like there were plugs that were left unplugged as well, and I believe that this is why suddenly after the third visit, the water dispenser and freezer also stopped working. We couldn't see this until the housing had fallen, and truthfully have no idea what goes where, whats hot etc so didn't want to mess with it and make things worse. Unfortunately- refrigerators are hard to come by right now- nowhere has them in stock. The best option we could find won't be delivered for another week and a half, rendering hundreds of dollars of food spoiled, and lots of stress and unneeded aggravation. Thankfully we had a friend lend a mini fridge for medicine, although some has to be tossed for being out of temp too long and it not being worth the risk. I made some edits to this review to update the situation. After calling and leaving a message for Paul, then calling again and a guy in the office saying Paul was training out of state and he'd send a message, Paul did call back. He seemed genuinely concerned about the situation and asked for photos, as well as replied promptly today. He said he would address the situation internally, and I am updating the review because I truly do believe he was sincere and will take the necessary steps to ensure this doesn't happen again. We do NOT want the tech to lose his job, as looking at the whole situation it was a series of mistakes by multiple people. Any one or two things wouldn't have been so bad, but all together it was a really awful, scary situation. If the tech screwed the housing cover in, the freezer would have still stopped working, but it wouldn't have fallen and zapped anyone. Had the first phone lady contacted the tech as stated (and I truly believe she did not) and sent him back out same day my guess is that he would have removed the housing cover and seen the things not plugged in. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he would have known exactly what he was seeing with the close up wire picture, and would've been in and out in 5 minutes. This was a stupid mistake, but it was likely just a mistake. We'd still be dealing with the parts and repair- but at least the freezer and water would have still worked. This falls on the phone lady. Either way, I updated the review and stars because of the response from Paul and my belief that he was genuine and sincere in making sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

I have rarely written a poor review for a company, but I want to warn people about the incompetence and dreadful service I recently received from Sharper Service Solutions and their repair tech, Kyle. My Whirlpool (Maytag) dishwasher malfunctioned two months ago under warranty and Whirlpool scheduled SSS to make the repair the following week. On the day of the repair, it was getting late, and I called Kyle to see if he would rather reschedule for the following morning. He said thanks, because he had spilled dirty water on himself at another repair, was having a bad day and wanted to go home. Instead of coming out the next day, SSS scheduled him to return the following week. The following week, Kyle finally showed up and immediately begged off the job because he said he couldn't get the water shut-off valve closed in the kitchen. I could have shut off the water another way, but he wouldn't allow it, and said he could lose his plumbing license, a license he never showed me. I tipped him $20 for the call, and he said he would return the following week. I immediately called a licensed plumber, and he replaced the shut-off within a day or two. The following week, Kyle finally returned again, and I left him alone in the kitchen to replace the parts, which he said he did. He then called me into the kitchen and said he would lose his electrical license if he hooked up my "repaired" dishwasher. In 25 years, I have never had an electrical problem with my dishwasher hookup, but Kyle said he saw one. However, he had reset the dishwasher in the proper place and never showed me the nature of the problem. He never showed me his electrical license either. He never took a photo or showed me anything to prove he was having a problem. I have had several dishwashers here in the past 25 years and there has never been an electrical problem with the install or with a repair. He then scurried out of the house and left me with an allegedly repaired dishwasher -- but no electrical hookup. There was no electrical issue. The repair had nothing to do with anything electric. It was a pump replacement. He never needed to disconnect the electric because the circuit breaker was off and there was no power to the unit. So obviously he unhooked the electric to the dishwasher, but told me he wouldn't hook it back up, or show me whatever issue he was having. Additionally, Kyle also told me that based on what he saw (and never showed me), I should sue Costco for the electrical hookup because "you have a major case" against them. This was patently ridiculous, as I have experienced zero electrical issues with my dishwashers ever in my home. As an aside, he never showed me his law degree either, or his license to provide legal advice while leaving me with a non-working dishwasher. Moments before leaving, Kyle told me he could void my warranty, but said he would not do that. However, after I checked, Whirlpool had immediately voided my warranty within the hour, based on what SSS told them about the call. So not only did he leave me with a non-functioning dishwasher, but I was also lied to directly to my face. In all my years I have never experienced such a disingenuous tech in my house or a more disgraceful performance by a repair company. I would avoid ever allowing Sharper Service Solutions into your home. read more

During my experience with Sharper Appliance, I found this company to be understaffed, the technicians overworked, and overall, displays a business model that's more focused on hastily doing jobs, whether they are completed successfully or not, and moving on to the next one. I'm left with the assumption that they deliberately test the customer's patience, with hopes that either the customer will outright abandon the company and seek another service, or repeat the increasingly frustrating process of rescheduling appointments every week, with little to no progress. My LG front loading washing machine was making strange noises and the manufacturer recommended Sharper Appliance. A month later, and it still had not been properly fixed, made worse by the technician's hasty, incompetent work, including him diagnosing the problem without running a wash cycle or inspecting the machine itself properly. During one job, he tossed a few loose screws and two bolts into his work bag that belonged to the machine. His response to leaving these parts out was, "If something is wrong, just call the office to reschedule something at no charge." Consequently, there was a leakage underneath the machine. At one point, the technician casually suggested that I report a crack in the newly purchased drum to the LG warranty department, and use the warranty money to purchase, "inner bearings," that he had newly diagnosed as being worn out. I declined. A week later, the technician, Jonathon, returned and struggled with moving the stacked washer/dryer combo, stating this was really a two-person job. He also said that I would have to pay for the additional technician. I reminded him that this current problem arose from the shoddy work that he had caused on the previous visit. He did not fix the leaking machine and left. When I called Sharper Appliance again, I requested a two-person job. I was told by the operator that he would have to get that request cleared by the "managers" before scheduling anything. Although I was initially told that the request had been approved and two technicians were scheduled to come out a week later, I received a call a couple of days later informing me that request had been canceled and a single technician would come out instead. Jonathon returned, and again, hastily inspected the back of the machine, and peered down into a slit on the top, before stating that this was a two-person job and he wasn't comfortable moving the dryer and washing machines solo. After he left, I asked the operator for somebody in higher authority to call me back. A "customer service manager" named Travis called me back and asked if I wanted Jonathon to return and finish the job. He then stated that there was a way for the technician to inspect the underside of the washing machine in a safe manner and he would instruct Jonathon of the process. I reluctantly agreed, reiterating that an entire month had lapsed, and I just wanted the machine fixed. An hour later, Jonathon came back. He spoke to Travis as he worked on the job. At this time, Jonathon reported that he had fixed the leak, admitting that he had forgotten to reattach two bolts that he removed during a previous appointment, and ended up tossing the bolts into his work bag. This time, he ran a test cycle, and the machine ran without visible leakage. One positive piece of feedback was that their customer service operators answered their phones in a timely manner, used appropriate voice tones and language when speaking, and presented a level of concern with my lingering situation, although carefully staying to their seemingly assigned scripts of rescheduling make-up appointments, and promising to relay my requests to speak to the "managers." I strongly recommend appliance/home owners to look elsewhere for their repair work. To be clear--do not hire Sharper Appliance Repair. They are the most unprofessional repair company that I have ever dealt with. Their level of ineptness is provocative, their degree of shoddy workmanship and minimal professionalism befuddling. My new LG dishwasher did not work. LG identified Sharper Service Solutions to attempt to repair it. The technician, Brian, was perfectly pleasant during the visits to my house. He ordered a number of replacement parts that were sent to my house and then installed them. The dishwasher still did not work and he said he could not fix the dishwasher. Brian said he would get the company to send me a replacement dishwasher. This is where the nightmare began. I am now 5 weeks out from that time and, after multiple calls to Sharper Svc Solutions, it appears they still have not communicated to LG that they replaced the parts or that the dishwasher could not be repaired. I call Sharper Svc Solutions repeatedly and speak to someone in the Philippines who typically gives me a different story each time I call. I'm now told that Brian was supposed to call and speak with the LG technician directly but never did this. The company is completely disorganized. Avoid if you can. read more

Wow, I'm beyond shocked at the 2 1/2 star rating this company was given. We just had technician Jeff out to our home to fix our new Samsung W/D. after 4 other groups came to try to fix it Jeff made the thing work. Not only did he make it work he was very professional and forth coming with what the problem was and he was very thorough. We were amazed at the old fashion customer service he provided and so did the whole company. I could call and actually talk to a human being, get prompt service, got calls as to when the person would arrive and he was on time. The receptionist was nice and on top of everything. We are really excited to now have a company we can call and trust to come out and fix our appliances. Thank you Sharper Service Solutions for an all round GREAT JOB, sure wish other companies provided such fantastic service! read more
