Took the plunge on a hot tub after 8 years of hym hawing over it. 2 of my family members recommended going through Shasta Spa's on Bechelli I had set a budget in my mind. Originally I called around different places, and almost got completely scared out of the process. On a casual phone call ( elsewhere) I was quoted $20K ,and at the end of the call $18k for another ( lower budget model ) I assumed prices had skyrocketed and perhaps we shouldn't be purchasing anything after all.- Went to SS & B and had a very good experience browsing the large showroom. The Tubs there were starting at below about 6k, and probably averaged to 12k -15k or more? I had MANY choices in my range, and almost too many to choose from. We fell in LOVE with a 'filled' floor model that came with a bunch of add ons and a 5 yr warranty. Free delivery, chemicals , at home demo , and a bunch more. Went back another 2 times to ask millions of questions and finally pulled the trigger. I could not believe it arrived one week later. It all went faster then we expected and we actually had to wait for the electrician appt to happen after delivery. After the electrician filled the tub and left, they came BACK out to show us all the ropes and get us going. All in all, I had changed my mind on the placement ( while it was still empty) ,called several times, stopped by several more, and have been So happy with everyone I've encountered. We have been so in love with the hot tub, and used them for our first drain and fill service after 3 months. The tech was on time and addressed all my new crazy questions and showed me some things I still hadn't learned about. He also was fast and great at what he does, and really likes his job. Upbeat and all nice people ! This is the way to purchase imo. The customer service has been unbeatable and invaluable, everyone there is a pro, and happy to help. Make sure you at LEAST check them out before going anywhere else. read more

A family owned business with very friendly and helpful show room, recommendations and information. They came, took our old tub away and installed the new one, which was not an easy feat. We purchased our amazing spa at the beginning of this year. We love to support family owned businesses so I am very happy to have found Shasta Spas & BBQ's. Theo was our sales rep and he was full of knowledge. You can def tell he's the go to guy for any spa and bbq questions. Not only that he was very friendly and NEVER pressured us to purchase anything. He made sure that we understood all the different specs for different spas and feel comfortable and excited for what we were to purchase. We went home that day and my husband did some research and made our decision to purchasing the Marquis "The Epic" model. Delivery team was nothing but perfection. The guys were super friendly and orientated us on how to take care of our new spa. Theresa (wife of Theo) called us that evening to make sure that we were happy with our purchase. And of course we were thrilled. We wanted to jump right in that night but with Mother Nature and temp of the water did not permit but when we did get the chance we took full advantage. All 65 jets worked perfectly and felt amazing. Even during this hot summer days we love jumping in the cool spa since we are able to turn off the heat and lower the temp. Best Purchase Ever! It has been almost two years since we purchased our spa. And I still love it and use it almost every day. Our home came with an older spa that was expensive to run and impossible to open alone. The savings on the energy bill has all but paid for our spa and the lids on the newer spas are so easy to open that I can do it with one hand. The best thing about our spa is the staff at Shasta who know about their product and are always friendly and helpful. Yesterday my daughter and I visited Shasta Spa's and all I can say is that it was an *incredible* experience. I've never denied being emphatically spa-challenged, but beginning with my first phone call to them along with the pleasure of speaking with Theo (Owner, and my hero!), my second to Jess (their son, who has the patience of a saint!) and finally meeting Teresa (Owner, and my heroine!) -- yesterday I can finally say that I am no longer the same! This is a wonderful family that has *so* much knowledge to share with anyone that is willing to take the time to ask questions and to listen to the answers that is given. The most valuable lesson I've learned is not to take everything you read on the internet to heart. The best thing you can do for yourself *and* your wallet is to speak to someone that can answer all of your questions and quash any fears you may have. When we got to the store we were both treated - not like 'customers' but like 'family.' Not knowing exactly what I wanted, Teresa took the time to tell me about any of the many spas they offered and more importantly, what that spa could offer *me* because of my medical needs. After much indecision, I finally settled on the Marquis Broadway (110v.) with additional item add-ons that *I* wanted - *not* pushed on me for a sale! These are: Lighted railing, upgraded stairs, cover with lifting arm, and my all-time favorite - a swing out table (whoo hoo!). Now, all I need is to have it delivered. I'm waiting for the electrician to come and install the outlet I need and as soon as that's done - it's delivery day! And guess what? Teresa was even okay with waiting to hear from me about the installation...amazing isn't it? So...all this to say, if you're not only looking for a spa, but also a place that will treat you with respect *and* like family - the take the time to go here - you won't regret your decision to do so. read more

I maintain that a product is only as good as the service and support behind it. When you purchase a spa from Shasta you be assured if excellent service for the life of your spa. I did a TON of research before buying a hot tub/spa. They're pricey and I was totally ignorant. The more I researched, the more I learned that the quality/brand of the tub was a huge thing to pay attention to, as there is a ton of junk out there. So, I narrowed it down to 2 brands, one being Marquis and the other also represented here in Redding. I went to each store multiple times, essentially asking the questions I learned in online forums and such. Well, not only was Marquis the best choice for us, the family that owns and runs Shasta Spas & BBQ were wonderful; formal and professional yet friendly and really enjoyable to be with. We've now had our tub for just over a year, and the service and expertise, and even more the friendship, that comes from Shasta Spas is simply unparalleled. They are wonderful. I've needed a chemical before on a weekend and they met me at the store outside of business hours! I mean, they already had sold me the tub and they probably only made $5 on the chemicals. But they were awesome, and have been every time we've needed them. I wish Yelp had a "6 Star" option, even if you could only use it one time a year. I'd use my 2016 vote right here. read more

This company is top-notch from start to finish. I worked with Theresa, the owner, on coordinating a redwood hot tub in our vacation home in Mt. Shasta. Since, I was not on site, Theresa worked with a local landscape company and electrican every step of the way to ensure the job got done right. When there was a miscommunication on the material used for the electrical equipment she worked with her team on-site to troubleshoot a different solution and insisted they stay another day to finish the job and even went another step further and insulated piping and covered trenches that were not there responsibiltiy. She kept me abreast of the situation by calling frequently to ensure that I was "in-the-loop" at all times.
