Mixed plate chicken and beef with hummus
    Tiffany C.

Perfect place to get your shawarma! Perfect portions for individuals or even sharing!! Comes with pita bread every order! I got the chicken and beef mixed plate! Sooo yummy!! The chicken and beef consistency was perfect and so juicy! Definitely would come back for more! They were super fast with the food and made sure my whole order was perfect! I ordered a total of 6 items, things came out within 15-20 minutes!

I've heard of Falafel Cafe through Yelp and wanted something yummy for my lunch yesterday. I called in for a phone order to get a mixed Plate of beef and chicken($12.99). Food was pretty good, but I felt like something was missing. I'm so used to seeing Chicken Donair with Tabouli salad, meat, rice, Pita bread and potato. My food only came with meat, rice, salad (NO tabouli salad) Pita bread and Hummus with Tahini sauce. Food is on the smaller side. Besides there wasn't enough Hummus in it. I honestly love both Hummus and Tahini sauce in my food. Service was fast!

If you want reliable tasty shawarma, This is the SPOT!! We've ordered take out here on Uber eats already 3x in the last few months and this place does not disappoint with flavour and juicy meat! We had got this time: * Chicken & Falafel Mix Plate with Tabbouleh * Chicken & Beef Mix Plate with Tabbouleh Both come with Rice, tasty hummus and pita. We had subbed both our plates with Tabbouleh instead of their salad, super tasty and fresh! I must say their chicken and beef is NEVER DRY, that's always so nice when you find a Donair place that dosent serve dry meat! Their falafel is soooo crispy and super tasty, one of the best falafels I've had for take out cause usually they end up soggy or soft but still kept its crunch after 30mins! Overall highly recommend this little business!

Little cafe that looks good on Google search so went and turned out to be the BEST decision ever. Friendly service and clean area. Small but couple tables inside and outside. Right in front of a bus stop and some street parking around (on the same street too). Take outs are available too. Amazing and delicious food. One of the best salad and falafel I've ever had! Highly recommend and will definitely go back!

Over the weekend, we tried Shawarma Cafe... and it was delicious! I chose the Mixed Plate (with Chicken and Falafel) while fiancé chose the Lamb Shank Plate. Both come with house salad, hummus, and fresh homemade pita bread. For mine, I was able to choose three sauces to go with it, in which I chose Tzatziki, tahini, and garlic sauces. They all went well with the meal. And the hummus was ! Fiancé really enjoyed his Lamb Shank! I must say though, the fresh cut Chicken shawarma was so good! My favourite of the whole meal. Also, even the rice was flavourful. Definitely highly recommend!

Ordered through skip to try it out. I got the chicken plate w/pita on the side. I think they make their own pita, so it was good. Also ordered the veggie samosa. 7$ for a samosa was kinda over priced I would say. I thought it would come with the sweet sauce other places usually give with samosas. But I got some other sauce, wasn't my vibe.

My buddy brought over a shawarma platter takeout platter from here and it hands down had to be one of the best I've ever had in this town. The best part is the pitas are freshly home made. Since trying it, this place has been a weekly meal for our family now. The leg of lamb is outstanding and their mixed chicken/beef plate is a must-try! You won't be disappointed!

My order. All of it was amazing

I've attached my order. This place is underrated. Affordable, quick, great packaging and amazing taste. You won't regret it!

My coworker and I came here on a Saturday afternoon, we got a reservation ahead of time and I'm glad we did because this place was pretty busy. We got their aperol spritz for drinks which was very refreshing, would recommend this for the summer. For food, we got their dip platter and chose their hummus, labne, and baba ghannouj. My coworker was gluten-free so they were very nice to give us some gluten free chips instead of the bread with the dips. We also got their halloumi fries which came with a pomegrante dipping sauce - I LOVED IT! The halloumi fries were cooked so well! We also got their prawns which were really fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back! Their hummus was so good, it's for sure a very authentic Lebanese spot.

When the food arrived they were beautifully plated and the colors amazing. I had a taste of the starter and was delighted at the texture and flavor. Very tasty. My dish of kebabs were seasoned well and the meat was moist. Every bite was delicious with a mouth full of the rice. The was a side of salad on the plate as well, get your veggies in ;) but the star of the plate is the kebab. Wife's dish was spicy for her and she ended up taking it home as she's not good with hot spice. I think the spice level for me was fine, nice kick to it. Over all very nice meal and pleasant server. The food took quite a while to come out considering there were no more than 14 people in the restaurant. Server was nice and answered the questions we had. BBQ ribs: 3.5/5 tender and fall off the bone. The flavour was ok. The sauce was good but the meat itself wasn't flavored well without the sauce. Chicken liver parfait: 5/5 this was my highlight. Generous portion of liver. Beautifully plated with sweet, savoury, components including different textures. Bread was soft, fluffy and warm. Jamaican jerk chicken rice ice bowl: 2/5 Came a bit confusing. We had to clarify with the sever that this was indeed the jerk chicken bowl. Nothing screamed Jamaican. It was more Taiwanese fried chicken with a kicked up Tabasco sauce on top of Chinese fried rice with a bit of dry jerk seasoning sprinkled into it. Flavor wise, it wasn't bad but Jamaican jerk flavours it was not. For $26 I wanted full Jamaican flavours. Would I come back? Probably not. Would I stop people from going? Also probably not.

We ordered BBQ ribs, Brioche with chicken liver parfait and the Jamaican jerk chicken rice bowl. The BBQ ribs and chicken liver parfait were played nicely and tasted decently good. The ribs were tender, though they could have used a bit more seasoning. Unfortunately, the jerk chicken rice bowl was disappointing. When it arrived I was confused, as it looks like a Taiwanese chicken fried rice. I confirmed with the waitress that it indeed was the jerk chicken rice bowl, but it looked nothing like what I expected from that dish. The rice bowl tasted like Taiwanese-style fried chicken rice with a lot of added spiciness. Spiciness alone does not make something Jamaican jerk chicken. Since I didn't get what I ordered...I have to give a relatively low score. My recommendation is to stick with the Western-style dishes here and avoid anything that seems "exotic".
