    Palestina orange soda

Omg! This place was soo good that I went twice in one week! There's a lot of parking. This place just opened up a few months ago and I finally got to try it. Their menu is extensive ! Shawarma, quesadillas, falafel sandwiches and lots of drink options. So far I've tried: Beef shawarma - pretty good! It had tahini and the shawarma Chicken shawarma- this was my favorite. It had chicken, pickles and their homemade garlic sauce. They also offer 2 other different sauce: Boom - spicy mayo with cheese Queen - mild garlic with cheese I loved their decor. Artwork was all over! Customer service was amazing. I think it was the owner that served us the first time. She was nice and let us sample both the beef and the chicken. They even had a Palestinian soda!

I can't remember the last time I had a Shawarma Wrap. But, i will remember this restaurant for their excellent customer service. They were having a Buy One, Get One Free special. I ordered the Chicken wrap, it comes in one size (Large 12"). The Chicken seasoning was very good. The flavor was similar to a smoky paprika taste that I liked. They are new to the area, the icee machine was not set up and it was 92 degrees. The lady offered to make a smoothie using a blender. This item was not on the menu, but she made it just for me. She really is the Shawarma Queen. NOTES: - Open 7 days a week - Dine indoors, out in the Patio - Credit Cards are accepted - Free parking Sincerely, Rosemary

My experience seems different from others. My friends and I came here hungry and late at night and were excited to have a juicy warm flavorful shawarma in our tummies. They seem to be in soft opening phase so there's some hiccups with ordering here and there so I'll look past this part. I am mostly disappointed in the portion size. I think shawarmas are supposed to be a nice hearty comforting meal. The sizing just felt off- even Disneyland's shawarma has some serious girth to it. The sauces, which were $1 extra, were lackluster and I would even say the bomb sauce is quite odd-- why is it pink? Also, I think their AI generated menu has misleading pictures and I don't appreciate that. Their saving grace would be their meat. I do think is well flavored with a nice smoke and moderately juicy. Perhaps if they fix the above, I'll consider a try.

I went to Shawarma Queen with my family and was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful and delicious the shawarmas were. Mohammed Ali was gracious enough to give us a taste of both the chicken and beef and they were both great. He provided excellent service and even my picky 2 yr old loved all the food. I would highly recommend for a quick bite if you are in the area.

    24" beef shawarma combo

The 24-inch beef shawarma combo is nothing short of a masterpiece. From the first glance, it's clear you're in for something special--the wrap is generously packed, perfectly toasted, and layered with tender, flavorful beef that's been marinated to perfection. Each bite delivers a rich blend of spices, balanced beautifully with fresh toppings and a creamy, tangy BOOM sauce that ties everything together. It's hearty, satisfying, and easily shareable; but honestly, you might not want to share because you'll want it all for yourself! Haha And then there are the fries; arguably some of the best seasoned fries you'll ever have. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in a bold, addictive seasoning that keeps you reaching for more. They're not just a side; they're a highlight of the entire combo. The sesame bread chicken shawarma is equally impressive in its own right. The sesame bread adds a subtle nuttiness and a slight crunch that elevates the entire experience. Inside, the chicken is juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection, complemented by fresh vegetables and a smooth, flavorful sauce. It's lighter than the beef shawarma but just as satisfying, offering a perfect balance of texture and taste. Overall, this meal hits every mark; flavor, portion size, and quality. Whether you're craving something indulgent or simply want a top-tier shawarma experience, this combo delivers in every way. Easily a five-star experience. They got the best staff and service ready to answer any questions you have about the menu, excited to share their knowledge on the best shawarma's in OC. Always a chill spot to eat and hang out with friends late at night !

Ask for extra sauce on the side with a wrap. My favorite is the chicken! They have buy 1 get 1 from 10-5pm until the end of August so you guys should try it now!! Ask for one extra garlic sauce if you're regular. Ask for two extra sauces if you're big backN.

This place is fantastic! The food is absolutely amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and everything is made fresh to order, so it may take a little longer--but it's well worth the wait. The chicken is delicious, but the beef is absolutely outstanding. The flavors are rich, perfectly seasoned, and truly memorable. And whatever you do, don't skip the fries--they're a must with your meal! I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures before I started eating! That's how good it was. Everything i tried tasted fresh and full of flavor. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for late lunch and so glad we did. We had the chicken shawarmas. Food and slushies were delicious!

Great First Shawarma Experience! A friend recommended this place, and it was my first time trying shawarma! The owner was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, with clean tables throughout. Seating and parking inside are a bit limited, but there's plenty of outdoor seating available. I ordered the Beef Shawarma Combo, and the pricing was very reasonable. The fries came out fresh and piping hot, with a crispy outside, fluffy inside, and their signature seasoning was delicious. The beef was well-seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the garlic sauce paired perfectly with it. The only downside was that my shawarma was served a little cold, possibly because they were recording content for their social media at the time. Other than that, everything was great, and I really enjoyed my first shawarma experience. I'd definitely come back. 9/10!

I mainly had the chicken bowl, which I thought it was pretty good! I liked how it also includes a pita bread with it, although, I wish it was more fresh and warm lol. The ingredients in the bowl were quite fresh though. I also had a side of garlic and wow the garlic made is veryyyy flavorful, including the hummus. I thought it was pretty good! The pita chips were also very nice as they were definitely very crispy, although, not as good if you save it as leftover, but still not bad. We also had a few pieces of falafels on the side, which they were surprisingly pretty good! It was not as fried dense ball as I thought it would be, which it actually made me enjoy or appreciate falafels more. I would definitely try the falafel instead of the chicken next time in my bowl.

It's only about 7 minutes from the parks, making it the perfect lunch or dinner spot if you're craving something flavorful that won't leave you feeling heavy. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The spinach pastry was hands down my favorite, perfectly flaky with a delicious savory filling. The potato pastry was a close second and just as satisfying. If you visit, don't skip the pastries! We also tried the steak and chicken kebab combo plate, and both were cooked perfectly. The chicken was especially tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. You can actually watch the meat being cooked fresh in the back, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic. I ordered the veggie plate with falafel, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, hummus, and tahini sauce, and every single item was delicious. The falafel really stood out. It had a perfectly seasoned, crispy exterior with a soft, flavorful center. Dipping it into the baba ganoush, hummus, and tahini made every bite even better. One of my favorite things was that the meal was incredibly satisfying without feeling greasy or overly heavy. It was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor, but I still felt great afterward. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, and the service was impressively fast. They also have a great selection of Mediterranean spices if you want to bring some of those incredible flavors home. Huge compliments to the chef and the entire team. Between the fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent service, Zait Zataar has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite Mediterranean restaurants. The cakes here are incredible. My husband and I ordered the Iraqi Karak Tea, Hot Lime Tea, Biscoff Cake, and Pistachio Chocolate Cake. The hot lime tea was warm, comforting, and had a slight tartness that I really enjoyed. The only thing I would note is that it may not be the ideal pairing with their desserts because the tea itself is also fairly sweet. As for the cakes, both were fantastic. The Biscoff Cake was honestly one of the best cakes I've ever eaten. It was rich without being too greasy, perfectly balanced, and the Biscoff flavor came through beautifully. The Pistachio Chocolate Cake was also a huge winner, with a great combination of nutty pistachio and decadent soft chocolate flavors. We came for a casual meetup and left talking about the desserts the entire drive home. Price: Prices were very reasonable considering the quality. Tea drinks are generally around $4-6, while specialty cakes such as the Biscoff Cake and Pistachio Cake are about $12-14 per slice. Overall, expect to spend around $15-20 per person if you're getting drinks AND dessert, which feels like a great value given how impressive the cakes were. Ambiance: The café has a cozy neighborhood feel and serves as a nice place to sit down, catch up with friends, and enjoy Iraqi tea and desserts. It doesn't try to be overly trendy or flashy, which actually adds to its charm. The focus here is clearly on the drinks, sweets, and hospitality. Service: Servers were friendly and welcoming when getting our order. We felt comfortable hanging out and chatting for a while, and the staff were helpful when answering questions about the menu. Parking: Since it's located in like a strip mall/shopping plaza on Brookhurst, parking was relatively easy and convenient. There's a free outside shared lot in front.
