I had the unfortunate experience after I purchased a 2009 Lincoln Continental from James. I felt he completely misrepresented the car. As soon as the car arrived last week I contacted him immediately. DEFECTS included the windshield which was heavily scratched ,grill chrome peeling headlight covers fogged car was spot painted poorly every panel but the trunk. Some panels were painted three times according to a paint gauge by detail shop where the car currently is. Passenger doors are so bad ( primer overspray) that they will need to be refinished, as well as the hood. Vehicle has whiskey dents all over it. When contacted James he denied all damages and kept referring to the car fax but as you well know you can spot paint a car in places and it doesn't have to be reported to Carfax by non professional shops. offered a settlement amount of 2200.00 which was denied by owners according to James by the way who is a nice guy Photos and signed affidavits from glass man, detail shop, & body shop, and pdr co. will be posted when available. basically from my experience if you cant see it feel it or touch it do not BUY IT

Then I stumbled across listings for Macomb Automotive Group's vehicles. It looked simple enough. There was a no hassle price posted for the vehicles and they were super responsive when I contacted about the vehicle I was interested in. I made the drive and was very pleased that I did! The lot was full of cars in excellent condition. I specifically chose them as I was looking for a quality rebuilt vehicle and their reviews stand out from other businesses. No one was hounding me down when I arrived and walked the entire lot before going in. There was absolutely no pressure! I entered after looking at everything and the sales associate offered me the keys to drive the vehicle I had initially emailed about. I took it for a nice drive in the area, I returned and told the sales associate my intention to purchase the next day as I was headed away for an appointment. Next morning, I pulled up and the vehicle was washed up again and everything had been prepped for my arrival. It was perfect!!!! The porter was even kind enough to put on the specialized bling license plate that my teen had ordered online. Do yourself a favor and buy from them if you are looking for a high-quality rebuilt vehicle. They even give you a one year warranty that can be used nationwide. I highly recommend them!!!

No word from sales/finance/owner lol. NOTHING. NO ONE said a word to us and we were planning on finalizing this weekend! Before you ask, yes, they knew when we would be purchasing and were fine with it as long as we made the deposit....OBVIOUSLY NOT!! HORRIBLE customer service!! Needless to say, but we will NEVER buy from here nor have service done here and believe me when I tell you we will be telling anyone and everyone about our experience and they too won't buy or have service done here!! DO NOT GO HERE!! SHADY BUSINESS!! Btw, the salesman originally showed us a truck that was brand new and yet had a dented bumper and scuffed paint and a noise coming from the vent when you turn on the heat. When we brought it up the man was not even aware of the issues and said they'd "fix them"--whom in their right mind would buy a brand new car or truck that is damaged and needs to be fixed?! What?!?! No, we expect them to be in perfect condition, they're NEW!!! Would he not think to look at the truck--I'm sure glad we did! Do their cars and trucks not go through an inspection when they're received before going into inventory?! Would you trust someone or a company who was trying to pull a fast one on you?! Would you ever buy a used car/truck from this dealership, when they can't even properly inspect a brand new truck; how much attention is going into a trade in or a "certified" used car/truck?! JUST HORRIBLE all around!! We're beyond grateful that we narrowly avoided this sale with Bill Serra, at this shady GMC dealership and our hope is to spread the word of our experience AND to prevent anyone else from a bad sale or being scammed!!! RUN!!!

When I got my car back, it was shaking much worse than before. At anything over 50 mph, the car was practically undrivable. What makes this even more frustrating is that the technician's own paperwork acknowledged there was still an issue. The printout noted they could still feel a shake, and my service advisor, Tyler, told me the same. The paperwork even stated that if the shaking continued, the suspension and steering might need to be checked. Instead of discussing these findings or working toward a resolution, I was sent home with a car that drove significantly worse than when I brought it in. I took my car to Discount Tire for a second opinion. They told me all four tires were out of balance and said they were surprised I was even able to drive the car to their shop. After they properly rebalanced the tires, my car drove exactly like it did before Moran serviced it. After spending $129.99 on a road force balance that made my vehicle worse, I contacted Moran Chevrolet and spoke with Laura Marklin, the Service Manager. I provided documentation from Discount Tire along with videos showing how badly the steering wheel was shaking. Rather than discussing a reasonable resolution, Laura insisted their computer showed everything was balanced correctly and that nothing was wrong with their work, essentially suggesting Discount Tire was wrong. However, once Discount rebalanced the tires, my car immediately drove normally again. The only solution Moran offered was to refund the balancing charge and put towards brakes. if I returned to have my brakes serviced there. That was completely unacceptable. If they couldn't properly balance my tires, why would I trust them to perform brake work? To make matters worse, there were pen marks all over my windshield visor tint that I had to clean off myself. Then, when an employee brought my car around, he attempted to drive it through the automatic car wash until another employee stopped him, explaining that Camaros and Corvettes should not go through it. From start to finish, this was an awful experience. The workmanship was poor, the customer service was even worse, and at no point did I feel like anyone genuinely cared about making the situation right. My car was originally purchased from this dealership in 2010, and I expected them to stand behind their work. Instead, I had to pay another shop to correct their mistake and was offered no meaningful resolution. Their website says, "If anything about your visit wasn't perfect, please reach out to me so I can make it right." Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I will not be returning for service or purchasing another vehicle from Moran Chevrolet. I'd rather support a local independent shop that takes pride in its work, treats customers with respect, and stands behind the services it provides.

Every 3 to 5 years I trade in my vehicle for a newer, different brand used vehicle. Not too long ago I was all about buying a brand new vehicle but for the last decade it's used cars for me. I've been pleased with my purchases and really enjoy trying out new brands. I've driven Land Rover, Ford, Chrysler and have enjoyed them all. Time to wake and enjoy the process as none of your used car nightmares are to be found here. I came in with a particular vehicle in mind. After discussing with used car sales guy, Bryan, I was most interested in another vehicle. This other vehicle was a step above my expectations. Bryan took the time to listen to my current situation with employment and what type of vehicle I needed to use to take my 85 mom with. I have wheelchairs and walkers that need to go with me on every trip so I needed a certain length and width in the vehicle. He listened to the budget I needed to stick to. He was very knowledgeable about all the vehicles we discussed; our conversation was easy and enjoyable. I actually enjoyed the visit. I always felt 'heard' and never once felt 'rushed'. After the selection was made it was time to do the financing...YUCK! Surprise again as Phil, in financing listened as I expressed my situation and needs. Phil was also polite, friendly, communicated very clearly and thank goodness he was quick and efficient. This was the absolute best car-buying experience I have ever had and I'm over 60 with a lot of cars bought under my belt. Come on in to browse or buy, you won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately, my experience with Jim Riehl's was very disappointing…read more Before purchasing, I asked specific questions and raised concerns, and I relied on the information provided by the dealership in making my decision. Shortly after the purchase, I learned information that I believe should have been disclosed prior to the sale, especially given the concerns I had already raised. I returned to the dealership and gave management a fair opportunity to address the situation directly. I was not looking for conflict--only a reasonable resolution based on the circumstances. We were ultimately unable to reach one. My issue is not that a used vehicle can have problems; that is expected. My concern is transparency and the ability to trust that all relevant information is fully and accurately disclosed during the sales process. I made every effort to resolve this privately before posting a review. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone purchasing a used vehicle here to be extremely cautious, ask detailed questions, request all available records, and independently verify everything before relying on what is presented. I wish my experience had been different.
