I love shear bliss! The stylists are really friendly here. I've been going to Candy ever since the first time I've ever dyed my hair. She takes care of your hair like its her own hair! She always recommends any products that would be good for your hair, and the way she shampoos your hair. I've been going to Glen for my hair care needs for over 5 years and I LOVE her!! Tustin is far from me but it's definitely worth the drive. She leaves my hair feeling healthy and revived everytime I leave. She is excellent with hair color also - I usually leave it up to her and am never disappointed. She also did my bridal hair almost 4 years ago and my bridesmaids and I were highly satisfied. She definitely changed my life after introducing me to the Brazilian blowout - the procedure lasts about 3 months and saves tons of time. Being a mom, that was super important to me. Now, I don't need to spend time blow drying my hair and it still looks great - especially helpful in the summer when it's so hot!! I love Shear Bliss! Candy is amazing. I fly into S. Cali about once a year and it is becoming a ritual for me to see Candy every trip. I got my hair colored into a bright red this visit and boy did Candy deliver. Since I don't trust my hair with anyone else (too many bad experiences) I also have Candy do my annual trim. Each one of her haircut is the best I've ever had and it grows out so perfectly as well! I've had my handful of bad hair salon experiences, and believe me when I say, Shear Bliss was not one of them. Although I can't comment on the quality of work of the other hair stylists, I have to say Ana is the best hair stylist I have ever had. Not only was she personable and understanding, but she has the experience and knowledge to really implement any hair style you want. For some time, I've been looking for a hair stylist who can do a natural caramel ombre on asian hair without the orange/ red tint and Ana is the only one I have found who can do so. Unlike other hairstylists, Ana really listens to what you want and doesn't try to assert her own opinions (In other salons, the hairstylist would color my hair lighter or cut it shorter because that's what she thought looked better). Although Ana will provide suggestions and advice, she will ultimately style your hair the way you want to. I absolutely adore Ana and will definitely be coming back to Shear Bliss! read more

I went in for the first time to Shear Bliss and had an amazing haircut, color and brazilian blowout. Everyone in there was so nice and welcoming. When you get there you should park on the street as there are 2 hour time limits in certain spots when you park. They are on the inside of the buildings. You have to walk around to get to them. Katie did my hair. I can honestly say that I have never been so happy with a haircut and color. I went in for a dark chocolate brown color and she nailed it perfectly. She listened to me when I told her to just take a little off the ends since I want to grow my hair out. And she gave me all the info on brazilian blowouts. She went over the process and the bad rap that it had gotten in the past. I also loved that she was easy to talk to and there was no awkward conversations or silent moments. I would totally suggest a brazilian blowout if you have frizzy curly hair. My hair has never been so soft and shiny. I love it! I also liked the fact that she didn't try to talk me into buying their shampoo and conditioner. That stuff is always so expensive. So, I went to a salon and was lucky enough to have Candy cut my hair because I loved the way she cut my hair. I had virgin hair and never thought I'd ever get it colored, but I just love the ombre look. After researching for months I finally decided on the exact look I wanted and based on the great reviews, chose Shear Bliss. It was a little hard to find since it's in an alley way, and it's a very small salon with only 3 stations so it was nice and quiet. Candy did my hair. I told her exactly what I wanted and she made it happen. I am very happy with the result and I am very picky about my hair. It's subtle but noticeable, which is perfect for me. I was going to do it myself at home with a store bought kit for 10 bucks, but since this was a drastic change for me I decided to splurge for a pro, I'm glad I did. It was $100 for my hair which is medium length, with no base color. She even told me to come back if the color gets too light after a few washes. But so far, the color is still perfect. I have had some pretty bad experiences at different hair salons and have never left a hair salon feeling satisfied. I went in to get a trim and to make my thin hair look fuller. The hair stylist was very nice and knew exactly what to do. I am very happy with my hair, probably because this is the only pleasant experience I have had with a hair salon! It looks a lot thicker and healthier. The only thing was that I was charged $60 plus tip for a 15 minute trim. The hairstylist also missed a spot, so there was a streak of my hair that was longer than the rest which I just cut myself. Although the results were great, I felt like that was a bit much to pay for my visit. This is the perfect place to get your hair dyed or ombre'd (according to their Instagram) but if you are looking for a place to just get a trim for a reasonable price, this is probably not your place. Other than that, I am happy with my hair and this cute little salon is definitely worth a visit for a hair color change! read more

Glen is the greatest hairstylist ever! Kind of like a hair fairy godmother. With one appointment, she turned my hair from a crazy frizzy mess, to the hair I've always dreamed of. I initially went to see her thinking that a good cut and color would do the trick and fix my hair, but then she recommended a Brazilian blowout. I've always tried straight perms before and liked them, but they were always too damaging and too straight, so I decided to give it a try. I tried it and LOVED IT!!! I wish I took before and after pictures because my hair looks so much healthier, shinier, and has more body to it than it ever did before PLUS there's no more frizz. I will never go back to straight perming again and will always come back to Glen for my BB and anything else she recommends. She truly knows her stuff and is very honest with what works and doesn't work which I really appreciate. I've gone back for cuts and color and I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair.
