Unprofessional! Hard to believe they claim about being family and friendly when they treat people the way they do.

Everyone is so nice and wants you to feel your best! When I left after getting my hair colored (I am a platinum blonde needing a smudge root) an hour later I noticed some of the toner did not grab like it should have leaving it splotchy. I contacted them and they fit me in the next morning right away and did not charge me a thing! My hair has been hit or miss sometime with grabbing color but they made me feel good enough to come back and have them fix where it did not take. I even felt bad for complaining because everyone was so nice but they were very understanding and did not want me leaving until I was 100% confident with my hair. read more

I was very scared to get my hair done because it had been so long since I let anyone touch my hair. Yes my hair was damaged and yes I knew it would have to be cut shorter than I wanted but I thought I'd get something cute. I feel really bad because the woman who did my hair was so sweet but I am really depressed about how crappy my hair looks. The bad thing about it is it is too short to even try to fix it. I was disappointed that day but I paid her and gave her a good tip for her time. Besides what can you do about a bad hair cut right? I'm just glad eventually it will grow back out. She said she did layers but my hair is just chopped straight across everywhere in different lengths and like I said my hair was bad but I've seen amazing after results of worse hair. My worst fear came true and now I have to wait it out. Needless to say I will not be back to this place. I guess I should have gone with my gut feeling and left or asked for one of the woman who had their hair done nice. My motto has always been that if a hairdresser has bad looking hair why trust them with your hair? Unfortunately I was desperate for a change and made an impulsive decision. I went to Shear Reflections a few months ago for a haircut. Susan is the absolute BEST!! I wanted a big change. I had super long hair and she cut it above my shoulders. I came in and told her what I was wanting to do and she was so excited to do something outside of the norm...I showed her a picture and off she went. I absolutely LOVE my hair!! After I got it cut tho, I had a hard time styling it the way that she did. So I asked her what she did again to get some tips and she just had me come back in and showed me a few different things to do with my hair. I thought it was awesome that she went that extra mile for me. I won't go to anyone else anymore when it comes to my hair!! read more

It's a great place, but I got my hair done by JJ (red haired stylist) twice. Both times the style fell within minutes of leaving her chair. My hair holds styles by curling or flat irons beautifully, but whatever method she uses left my hair flat and frizzy. I asked for a mani/pedi and JJ said she could do it. It took her over THREE hours! And it wasn't because she was taking her time. She kept messing up! She insisted she was an artist so I asked for hearts on my toenails. She couldn't draw the hearts, said it was too hard, tried anyways left me with hearts that looked like my 4 yr old had drawn. Then when it came time to do my mani, she pulled out a Walmart bag with small bottles of craft paint to make the design on my fingernails. The craft paint designs chipped off the next day. JJ really gave the place a bad name for me. Won't be back. read more

This is my new salon, and I love it. It's so bright and clean and welcoming. Great location in a cute little shopping area. The staff there is very friendly, and it's a classy place. They offer you refreshments while your hair is processing, and I really like that. Just a little something extra to make you feel special. Ask for Kathy, she will take great care of you. Best haircut I've had in a long time. The stylist listened to me, gave me what I asked for, and she gave me some tips on how to style (when I asked her). I mentioned I saw it on yelp and still the 10% discount was not offered. I may go every couple of months or so...it's a little pricey. I wanted to use a nice salon because I was changing my hair more than normal this time. I usually only get just a microtrim so... $30 is a little too much for that. She does a great job and I get tons of compliments on my nails. Within the last year I started seeing Kelli for my hair. She does amazing work. It is so nice to come to a salon for everything.
