This shop is very reasonably priced, and was able to get me in for an appt on short notice. Angie gave me a Perm last week. I have long hair and it was straight as a stick. She was so gentle and patient. Also very friendly and fun to talk to during the 3 hour process. She gave me a spiral perm. It turned out so great! I think its the best perm I have ever had in my life. Its so hard to perm my hair, and I was doubtful about how it was going to work with my hair being so long. She did nothing short of a miracle. I absolutely love it. Thank you Angie for making my husband pay me extra attention. Ever since you did my hair he has given me everything I want, all I have to do is smile and flip my hair. ha ha!! That was my worst experience for hair salon ever. My hair didnt turn out the way I want to be honest it was really bad ,just like im having so many grey hair at age 25, so I wanna make appt to kinda make it look better and WILL PAY FOR IT with a lower price than what i paid for my first visit( $120), I didnt even request the certain price but Angee refused to fix unless I pay another $120. I had to go to another salon to fix my hair for $80. Irresponsible,unprofessional attitude wont go far. They should ask themselves why they dont have many costumers like other salons. read more

I'm very disappointed in my haircut. I have 3 small children and don't get the opportunity to spend much money on myself. So this was a rare chance to get out and have some me-time. I was excited to have a salon fairly close to my house with great yelp reviews, that didn't cost a fortune. But I am very disappointed in what I received. I expected so much more from a stylist with 30 years of experience. I've never received such a messy haircut as I did at Shears to you. I'm happy for all the ladies that were able to give it a 4-5 star review, but I can't. The wedding hair that I requested was simple curls, but I did not like the way that she did it or that it turned out. I had higher expectations for bridal hair. Absolutely love this salon! This is my first year in this area, I'm originally from Grants Pass OR which is a small town and we know everyone very well especially our hair stylist. Coming to a new town and having to find a new salon scared me but Angie made me feel right at home and the first few times I got trims because I can't loose my long hair but eventually I decided to go with a beautiful dark auburn and Carmel in my hair. I was extremely excited and loved my hair so much I wanted some more red! She gave me a great price to come in and add more red even though she had to use a TON of dye on my hair which is thick and just about down to my butt. I was passing the salon and saw the Walk-in's Welcome banner that reminded me I really needed a hair cut. Thought i would give it a shot. Yes they could fit me in! I only had a 10 or 15 minute wait which is less than what I usually wait at other places WITH an appointment. Debbie welcomed me and really listened to what I wanted. As she cut she continued to check in to make sure she understood so as not to go too short. She offered styling tips and casual conversation that made it a very relaxing experience. I shared with her that I get my hair colored every 6 weeks and she asked if she could provide that service for me this next time and showed me the products she would use and why she felt they would do a great job. I really appreciated the frank discussion with an obviously very experienced cut and color stylist. When i first started coming here my hair was so damaged from previous jobs at other salons and she has it looking so healthy now...it's very difficult to color as it tends to want to have red undertones (which I hate) and she is able to get just the right tones without sacrificing my hair in the process. I did a bad thing and put a box of overly dark hair dye on my hair to make matters worse i did a terrible job of it as well. The ends of my hair were almost black while the top looked chocolate brown .luckily Angie at sheers two you not only corrected my my mistake by weaving in highlights to lighten me up then she gave me a super cute cut that I'm having so much fun with she was very supportive and didn't make me feel like an idiot and she was super reasonable . She also got me in the next day good thing to because the day after i had a job interview I'm so appreciative of her kindness and great work i made a follow up appt for a month out to do root touch up. I have been seeing Mae for years. She is absolutely fantastic, especially for those of us with curly hair! I'm one of those that tends to go for a different style and color each time and Mae has always been excellent at pulling off an amazing color/weave and cut that works both straight and curly. I have recommended her to one of my friends now that is always asking me when we are going to get our hair done again! Also have to say I love the new location! The owner did a fantastic job of converting a cute little house that was suffering from neglect in to a cute salon. The atmosphere is comfortable and nicely kept up. There's plenty of parking and all the gals there are ready to ask if you need anything. They even run over to the store if there's no creamer left for your coffee!
