Is this what they call shrimp kabob

Average food. I was disappointed with their shrimp kabobs. Its totally different than what they advertise on their menu.

Shrimp Galabah, house salad and Turkish çay

I stopped in to Sheena in East Dearborn on the way home from work while on a business trip to Detroit. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. The young man at the counter helped me to decide which dish to pick I did get.Shrimp Galabah. I have never tried this before. This dish was absolutely amazing. There is enough food for me for at least three meals as well as a fresh salad loaded with fresh vegetables. He also provided me with a cup of fresh tea while waiting for my food. I have to honestly say I have a new obsession. This restaurant is definitely a 10 out of 10 and if you are in the Dearborn Michigan area, you must try this out!

The Aromas here hit you as you open the doors. It screams absolutely delicious! I feel this place in some way unique it reminds me of when I was overseas in the Middle East. I would just like to say this I had the lamb shawarma. It reminded me of the time when me and my men stop at a restaurant in Kuwait. That was 16 years ago and the taste was unforgettable. This place reminds me of that time. No exaggeration here this place is very nice and it has definitely great food. I am going to comeback and try the chicken and beef shawarma. I definitely recommend this place for shawarmas call ahead to order. That is all. Chief Beware of what you want out of life because it is short.

We ordered catering delivery and it was great - perfectly on time, fresh and delicious. The grilled chicken is flavorful, the hummus was nice and creamy, and the Greek salad was good. Personally, I'd like more beets and less peppers, but it still presented well. The baklava was absolutely delicious and fresh - I recommend that here for sure. With so many Mediterranean and Lebanese food options in Detroit, this one holds up and we'd order again. it was clear everything was made fresh and with care.

Friendly staff and food tasted amazing. I went in for the first time ever since I was in the Detroit area and wanted some Mediterranean food. This was the first place that popped up for food near me and I saw the high rating and decided to give it a try. I got the lamb shawarma with fries. The shawarma wrap was delicious and the fries had this seasoning on it as well. A very reasonable price for the food here, I was more than satisfied and full. I would highly recommend and come again if I stop by!

I came here for lunch because I had a craving for lentil soup. The soups are mediocre and tasted a bit watery. Not a lot of crushed lentils in the lentil soup or lamb in the lamb chili. The hummus with lamb was a decent lunch option that came with some pita bread. Not the best middle eastern food but fine for a casual takeout option near downtown.

    Kabob and Grilled Vegetables!

Ran into Sheeba Express randomly while looking for an alternative to our usual fare in Detroit. Stopped by on a Tuesday Night around 7pm, and surprisingly there was no wait at all! The restaurant looks like a "hole-in-the-wall" type joint from the outside, but don't let that scare you off! The inside is actually very modern and there's seating inside, but don't expect to have enough space for big groups. There's street parking nearby, as well as small parking lots, but you're really better off using the street parking. Fair warning, the streets can be really uneven and riddled with potholes, so park cautiously. I initially ordered a Shish Kafta, but because they had run out, switched my order to a Kabob. The dinner orders come with 2 sides, so I tried the Lamb Vegetable Soup and Grilled Vegetables. The soup came out first, and it's almost enough to be a meal on its own! The Kabob was also fantastic, and everything tied together really well. All in all, it's a ton of food for the $15 price point of the Dinner entrees. It's easy to see that the food is very fresh, and they care about the customers that they have. Sheeba Express also has a great fresh juice selection, definitely check out the options if you're interested in mixing up your drink selection! Keto/ Low Carb Folks: There's plenty of selection at Sheeba express, and they're happy to substitute Rice/ Fries for Grilled Vegetables or salads. Eat to your heart's content!

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me to a beautiful Mediterranean garden, with its gorgeous tiled floors, lush greenery, and warm, inviting atmosphere. It felt like a refreshing escape right in the middle of Detroit's historic cobblestone streets. It was the perfect setting for a long-overdue reunion with my sorority sisters, and Supergeil was incredibly accommodating, hosting our group of 14 women in the middle of Grand Prix weekend without missing a beat. We kicked off the evening with a few appetizers to share, including the hummus, deviled eggs, and meatballs. Everything arrived quickly and was an instant hit around the table. The standout was definitely the hummus, served with fresh, homemade pita that was unbelievably soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The meatballs were also delicious, perfectly tender, juicy, and well seasoned. For my entrée, I ordered the popular lamb and beef döner, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The portion was generous and beautifully presented, overflowing with crisp vegetables, fresh lettuce, garlic sauce, hot sauce, and the most tender, savory lamb and beef. Around the table, others enjoyed the Turkish ravioli with spiced beef and pork, more döner, and a variety of salads. Everyone loved their meals, and we couldn't resist passing plates around to sample a little of everything. It's the kind of restaurant that's perfect for sharing and enjoying with a large group. And what would a girls' night be without cocktails? If you're a fan of Two James spirits like I am, you're in for a treat. The bartenders create incredibly inventive cocktails from a seasonally rotating menu. I stepped outside my comfort zone and ordered the Open Kettle, made with coffee infused Doctor Bird Rum, cola reduction, coconut cream, and Underberg. It was unlike anything I've ever had! It was rich, tropical, complex, and with just the right kick. It's an absolute must try. Another crowd favorite was the Purple Gang, featuring lavender vodka, lemon, and butterfly pea tea, which gave it the most stunning purple hue. To finish the night, we ordered all three desserts to share: the burnt sugar tres leches, strawberries and cream, and the hot brownie with cinnamon ice cream. My favorite was easily the tres leches. It was light, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the crunch of burnt caramel and the subtle sweetness of coconut, it was a creative twist on a classic dessert. The warm brownie with cinnamon ice cream was pure comfort and a chocolate lover's dream, while the strawberries and cream offered a lighter finish with sesame brittle and hibiscus, creating a unique combination that reminded me of an elevated granola paired with a glazed donut cream. From the beautiful atmosphere and attentive service to the creative cocktails and delicious food, Supergeil delivered an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're planning date night, catching up with friends, or celebrating with a large group, it's definitely a spot worth adding to your Detroit restaurant list.

The menu is Turkish and German fusion, which makes when you know how the doner kabob has become a German fast food staple. I've gone a few times now and had consistently great experiences. From the just the right level of eccentric inside, to the wide patio outside, the environment is comfortable and fun. Their food and cocktail menu changes often. There a few mainstays, including their doner options. Their lamb doner version is the only one I've found in the US I like (I have to remember to ask without peppers, not a traditional ingredient). Their cocktails are fresh, inventive, and interesting. I've tried a variety, and they do a consistently good cocktail. Supergeil is a reliable go to, good quality, reasonable prices, and great service. I'll be back for their patio season.

One guy seated at a booth on the phone and two ladies with their suitcase at another booth. Other than the 3 people, place was empty. Ordered carry out. crushed lentil bowl, chicken kafta, two sides: small hummus, small baba ghanouj, large fattoush salad with no pita. $38.13 Food takes about 15 minutes to be ready. Drove all the way back to the office. My chicken kafta looks to be lamb, not at all what I ordered. My large fattoush is covered in pita chips. Had to spend several minutes getting every pita chip out of the salad. It's good I am not allergic to gluten. They shove the dressing packet in the corner of the salad, so you get a bit less, that and the pita chips. Other than that, the salad was fine. I am quite disappointed the order is not right! The crushed lentil soup has a lot of rice in it, which is just filler to me. Has some clumps of something, may be rice and starch? It's too inconvenient to drive all the way back. Do be sure to check your carry out order before you leave the place. The crushed lentil is quite bland, not much flavor to it. Tastes some fennel, quite a few clumps of starch. The soup is more rice than lentil. I could count on one hand how many traces of lentil was in my bowl of soup. What in the world? My husband ate the lamb kafta, since I don't eat red meat. He said it was so-so, but rather dry.
