Both times, my car was serviced in under 1.5 hours. The representatives I worked with (most recently, Evans) were kind, communicative, and transparent. The service area is well taken care of, the WiFi is great, and they provide snacks and sandwiches. I also appreciated that they were able to give me insight into upcoming service and pricing. I will never take my car anywhere else.

What is so surprising is that they are still trying to sell this car and I do not think they have replaced the AC in it. I spoke/wrote three different people (I will refrain from mentioning any names that were involved in this subject) and I truly feel they do not give a damn. Once I stared the car, I turned on the AC and it did not come on at all. I told the salesman that the AC is broken and it is the compressor. They are trying to sell a car without AC and NOT disclosing this defect. I do not know how can you expect anyone to buy a car from a dealership and before driving it out of the parking lot, you expect the buyer to spend ~ $2,000 in repairs. This is beyond disgusting. Once the salesperson had the AC checked, he came back with ~$2,000 written estimates to fix the AC and expected me to agree! The car is advertised as having an "A/C" BUT, it actually does not since it is NOT working at all. It is like selling a car and then telling a customer that if you want tires and steering wheel to go with it, you need to buy them separately. This is not how things work. This is false and misleading advertisement and you should know better. I do not see how did you not know that the AC is not working at all??? You are a car dealership after all and you see/inspect cars all day and every day. Before coming to see the car, I asked ( in writings) two questions: make sure that the AC and the power windows are working properly and I was told that you have the car "fully MD inspected" and this means all in working order, but that is not the case.

Unable to get a hold of a person. Unable to have somebody explain what they did in the paperwork that they snuck in to even just schedule an oil change. Luckily my son makes enough money to correct their mistake. The things that they did, the things they snuck in that my son had to correct was definitely an eye-opener. The first car they showed us reeked of cigarette smoke. Then the Santa Fe. Every day we'd find something that didn't work. It had 4 USB port, but 3 were for charging only. The one and only USB port that connected the phone to the car was pushed down into it's slot and couldn't be reached. There was no voice for the navigation system and the voice activation didn't work. We took it back twice, they sent us to the Hyundai dealer ship. They just scratched their heads and didn't know what to do. I discovered that next to the cup holder was a slot for your cell phone. It had a charging pad in the bottom through a flap. However, when I shined a flashlight I could see food crumbs, loose change, and various pieces of garbage blocking the pad. All of these should have been fixed before selling it. Most of the employees at this Carmax struck me as lazy and just wanted to do the bare minimum to get paid. When I bought the car I financed through them knowing I'd get a better rate through my own bank on Monday. They said I had 3 days to arrange my bank to overnight them a check. When I returned the lemon they said it would take 10 to 14 days to get a check to my bank. Now that's the BS right there. Carmax Hagerstown. Lazy, can't do their jobs, the place is manned/managed by people who want to get paid for the least amount of work. Don't go here. They suck.

I was traveling through the area and my recently purchased Kia stopped running while driving. I had my vehicle towed to the nearest Kia dealership which was in Hagerstown. Initially everyone seemed very helpful. I received a call the following Monday saying they'd get to my vehicle as soon as possible, I even got an email informing me of a diagnostic appointment that Wednesday afternoon. By midday Thursday I hadn't heard from anyone so I called and left a message that would not be returned. I called again Friday, spoke to someone different and they had my original contact call me back. The information I received at that time was that the Wednesday appointment was "just so my car was in the system" and my car was "next in line" but likely wouldn't be done until the following Tuesday. At that point they would have had my vehicle for 10 days without even looking at it. Unfortunately I didn't have many options for an alternative other than wait. Tuesday comes and goes, no call. By Wednesday (day 11) I'm overly frustrated. I call back, my car had not been looked at and was not "next". I make the decision to have my vehicle towed from Hagerstown to Morgantown, an extra $1000 expense that should not have been necessary. I experienced nothing but lies hidden behind polite, chippers voices.
