What is so surprising is that they are still trying to sell this car and I do not think they have replaced the AC in it. I spoke/wrote three different people (I will refrain from mentioning any names that were involved in this subject) and I truly feel they do not give a damn. Once I stared the car, I turned on the AC and it did not come on at all. I told the salesman that the AC is broken and it is the compressor. They are trying to sell a car without AC and NOT disclosing this defect. I do not know how can you expect anyone to buy a car from a dealership and before driving it out of the parking lot, you expect the buyer to spend ~ $2,000 in repairs. This is beyond disgusting. Once the salesperson had the AC checked, he came back with ~$2,000 written estimates to fix the AC and expected me to agree! The car is advertised as having an "A/C" BUT, it actually does not since it is NOT working at all. It is like selling a car and then telling a customer that if you want tires and steering wheel to go with it, you need to buy them separately. This is not how things work. This is false and misleading advertisement and you should know better. I do not see how did you not know that the AC is not working at all??? You are a car dealership after all and you see/inspect cars all day and every day. Before coming to see the car, I asked ( in writings) two questions: make sure that the AC and the power windows are working properly and I was told that you have the car "fully MD inspected" and this means all in working order, but that is not the case.

I call to schedule an appointment- I always get to the service desk immediately and can get an appointment within a few days. I always wait while my car is being serviced. Typically, I can expect a two hour timeframe. I always take things along to do- read, study, etc. The service reps stay in contact and when my car is ready, it's usually either in the service bay or just outside the door. The first car they showed us reeked of cigarette smoke. Then the Santa Fe. Every day we'd find something that didn't work. It had 4 USB port, but 3 were for charging only. The one and only USB port that connected the phone to the car was pushed down into it's slot and couldn't be reached. There was no voice for the navigation system and the voice activation didn't work. We took it back twice, they sent us to the Hyundai dealer ship. They just scratched their heads and didn't know what to do. I discovered that next to the cup holder was a slot for your cell phone. It had a charging pad in the bottom through a flap. However, when I shined a flashlight I could see food crumbs, loose change, and various pieces of garbage blocking the pad. All of these should have been fixed before selling it. Most of the employees at this Carmax struck me as lazy and just wanted to do the bare minimum to get paid. When I bought the car I financed through them knowing I'd get a better rate through my own bank on Monday. They said I had 3 days to arrange my bank to overnight them a check. When I returned the lemon they said it would take 10 to 14 days to get a check to my bank. Now that's the BS right there. Carmax Hagerstown. Lazy, can't do their jobs, the place is manned/managed by people who want to get paid for the least amount of work. Don't go here. They suck.
