We grabbed dinner from Sheetz, and for gas station food, it was surprisingly great. We ordered the appetizer sampler, a burger, and the brisket melt. The sampler we chose came with mozzarella sticks, chicken bites, and mac n cheese bites for around $5, which is a steal. The burger was about $6 once I added cheese, but the base price is around $4.99--super cheap. The brisket melt was also $4.99. We grabbed bottled drinks too, which were around $2-$3. Overall, very affordable and a lot of food for the price. The burger itself was pretty mediocre--tasted like a frozen Costco patty. The brisket melt was okay, but the seasoning was whatever and the bagel bun was tough since it wasn't toasted. Still better than the burger, but nothing special. Now the appetizers... those carried the whole meal. The chicken bites had too much breading, so I probably wouldn't get those again. But the mozzarella sticks were honestly some of the best I've had. And the fried mac n cheese bites were a risky pick, but they paid off--they had Kraft-style noodles with perfect breading. If you like Kraft mac n cheese (which I do), they were amazing. Overall, eating dinner from a gas station was a gamble, but it ended up being worth it. The main meals were mediocre, but the appetizers--especially the mozzarella sticks and mac n cheese bites--totally made up for it. I'd go back just for those. read more

I just bought a full tank of gas and a big vehicle and I bought several cups of ice and an older black woman at the counter. Just stared at me rudely when as I was leaving I said have a nice day. Don't come here they're Unfruendly, Rude, and Unprofessional or at least she is and she's the face of the company since she's behind the counter. read more

I use the car wash here. It gets the job done for a quick outside wash but don't expect it to be perfect. The $15 wash takes 7 minutes per car to complete so if there's a line you'll be waiting for a while. Plan accordingly. read more

Went late at around 3:30am, not many people were there, workers were quick and nice. I got the crispy chicken sandwhich with bbq and golden bbq. I replaced the bun with a. pretzel bun and it was so good. The chicken was so crispy too! I'm definitely coming back here! Stopped by to get gas while taking my niece home; I don't remember how much the gas price per gallon is but my total for a full tank was $60. (I drive a sports, coupe) I love that sheetz has a milkshake machine; even though it was super cold, I still got myself a snickers milkshake. When I came here, my soul purpose was to stretch my legs and grab a quick bite to eat. This location is rather large and you get that idea when you pull into the lot. The lot is kind of like a super lot. Giving many pumps for fueling, plenty of parking spaces, and loads of amenities. When I walked inside the store, like the lot, was large. Cruising the aisles was easy as people weren't in the way. I used the facilities while inside, and they were the cleanest I have come across in my recent travels. After the use of the facilities I went to the touchscreen and placed my order. When I went to pay I also asked for a carwash, one of the many amenities at this location. I must have had the same idea as everyone else that day. It was a beautiful day where we were coming out of the murky weather and sunshine was starting to be abundant. When I returned to my vehicle I made my way over to the carwash. This is where I had the longest wait. When I pulled up, and since I already paid, I had to sit and wait my turn. There were three vehicles in front of me when I pulled in. By the time one vehicle made it through the wash there was a line of vehicles behind. That line just continued to grow and by the time I pulled into the stall, the line was halfway to the entrance of the lot. All I had to do was wait for the carwash to do it's thing before I could move forward with the rest of my day. When leaving the line for the carwash seemed to have gotten longer. Glad I got into that line when I did, I saw many vehicles get out of the line because they didn't want to wait that long. read more

On my way to Sai Temple I passes a Sheetz in Arcola for $3.55 a gallon when Ashburn was $3.86 so on my way back I stopped off to fill my car. Inside was large with many folks buying lunch. Seemed a good place for gas however the air pressure gauge, while free, was not working so had to go to another station for air. read more

A dangerous place to eat. Ordered a hot grilled chicken sub with toppings after buying gas. My teeth felt like it almost was about to crack. I took out a black seed or whatever it was from the olives on my sub. The manager wanted me to bring the food in to show him for a refund. You want me to bring in food I chew out on put in a bag? Pathetic. I told him to warn those inattentive food attendants to check their olives and food bar on 3/16 after 5pm so others wouldn't experience. If you had something in your food on 3/16/21 that almost made you call an orthodontist, the manager didn't do his job in correcting the employees at the food station. Well, Sheetz's food isn't good but tolerable and their gas pumps keep tapping out when you are pumping gas midstream. Don't leave the gas pump! This gas station should be called, "scamz." read more

The 9$ car wash was a rip off, as they don't even use a brush to actually swipe your car, just water jets. The bird poop my car entered the car wash with was still there when I left the car wash. The air pump was broken and the vacuum worked but wasn't as strong as it sounds. My mozzarella sticks were all cooked too long with the cheese exploding out and the extra marinara I paid for had no flavor. Sorry Sheetz, Wawa is still the best. read more

Nice gas station/convenience store for many who pass by this area. The gas station offers many conveniences for those who use this plaza. They have many gas pumps as well as air pressure pumps for tires. For those who like to keep their car clean, they have vacuum as well as an automatic car wash. They have the convenience store as well with many goodies inside. Nice seating available which makes it ideal for a rest stop. The gas pumps take mobile payments which is awesome. Don't need to bring your wallet or physical credit card. Do sign up for a Sheetz card as that can get you some savings here. I use it for pumping gas and you save a few cents per gallon. I absolutely love Sheetz. It is our preferred stop on any road trip. HOWEVER- I won't buy anything but the cheapest carwash ever again! Paid for the deluxe because they advertise that it specifically address road salt. My new car came out with much of the dirt and salt just covered with whatever the finishing coat is. I don't eat much gas station food these days, but I was really hungry and craving a chilidog and fries. After ordering, I went to the register to pay for my order. As I stood in line to pay for my order, I witnessed the employee who was working the fryer drop what looked like a chicken strip onto the floor in front of him, pick it up and place it into the fryer basket with almost no heaitation. I cancelled my order immediately anf brought it to the attention of the cashier. Her only resolve was to offer me my meal for free, which I refused. This location has been open a while and I've learned the Pretzel bun is made from crack it's no addictive. Seriously try a pretzel bun breakfast sandwich, either with sausage, scrambled egg, American, bacon, butter, pepper or try it with the crispy chicken, scrambled egg, American, bacon, butter, pepper. You'll want to go back for a second and come back every morning. If you really want to go overboard skip tots or fries with it and go for the fried Wisconsin cheese curds buried on the fried app menu. I moved here in August from New Jersey, where customers are not permitted by law to pump gas.. My right hand is partially paralyzed from a stroke. I am in my seventies. I have asked staff at this Sheetz to pump gas for me, on a weekly basis, and I have never been refused this service until today. I had always paid in advance, bought other items, and told them the pump number where I was parked. The assistant manager, Jack, had been most helpful in filling my tank for me each time I have stopped there. He was not at the store this morning. Today, for the first time, I was told by an employee at this store that their staff will no longer provide this service- but I found this out only after the attendant had charged the cost of filling my tank to my credit card. He got the person in charge for the morning, who showed me his own bleeding hand in a bandage, and said he could not, personally, help me. This I understand. He put the money back on my credit card, but did not handle my request in a businesslike manner, to say the least. He gave me an indignant lecture saying I should help myself like everybody else. In understand this person is not responsible for store policy, but I felt offended and helpless because of his refusal to assist, and told him I will never go to that store again. Is this actually a company policy, to refuse pumping service to disabled people? Why do other Sheetz stores provide this service to senior citizens on request? Why could my request today, not have been handled, just this one time, in a more helpful way? I would understand if I received a reasonable, non-blaming response. I love sheetz! It's honestly one of those places where you'd think the food they make wouldn't be very good, but you try it, and omg it's delicious! They always have an array of food to choose from, so it's perfect when you're looking for a snack or a quick meal as they have just about anything you could be craving. My only concerns about this location is there is an older gentleman (not the manager), he can be kind of pushy and comes off as harsh. Sometimes if I see him working register I make my boyfriend make the purchase, because that guy's customer service skills makes my blood boil. He is just super rushy and if you take more than 1 second to respond to his questions he repeats it louder and more aggressive like I'm being an inconvenience. Other than that all the other employees are super friendly! My other concern is the lack in materials to make some of the food. A good number of occasions I've ordered something and they tell me after I've paid that they don't have it. Recently I bought a fruity nutty salad (my absolute favorite) and I got home to find that it was just a salad with some chicken. Nothing else. I hope this location can step up on their orders! I love that they have so many more products available than the one on 50, but I feel like they have trouble sustaining their products because of heavy traffic at this location. The very last thing I can critique is their soda machine. We went when it first opened and the soda was fine, after that the soda is always very watered down and tastes horrible. We've brought it to their attention but it seems nothing has changed. However it did force us to try their iced tea and it's amazing! Other than that, it's always clean and I'll keep going here! Many employees have a hard time speaking clear and proper English and made a speciality drink for me that I ordered to be told when handing it to me they dont have all the ingredients.
