Crooked Run has my favorite beers in the area. My dog and I like the atmosphere. The service has always been friendly and fast. Their beer selection is awesome. Their prices are competitive with other breweries in the area. The availability of delicious, traditional beer food at their location is a bonus. No wonder that their customers are happy and friendly. Smiles all around.

Great little spot but wine menu was limited. Lots of little video games and carnival games, but it's a little pricey. An OK place to hang out and have a drink, but I wouldn't really make it a regular, I guess.

This place is one of my favorites in Virginia. The beer variety is incredible. There is something for everyone. Heart and soul IPA is usually my go to but the porter and the Stout should not be missed senior. Ramones is on the premises for excellent Mexican food.

I love that place! My family and I have enjoyed the food and drinks every time we have visited. I recently had churros that were drizzled in chocolate. I also had the sweet sticky rice and mango beer and watermelon chili lemon sour and both were fantastic and refreshing. The service was great. No complaints! I highly recommend this place.

Super close spot by the WO&D trail, so a great pit stop when you do a bike ride. That's how a friend and I ended up here. We loved their stouts. They do now have a satellite location in Union Market in DC, but something about coming out here and also getting the Senor Ramon tacos always make it so worth it. Crooked Run also shares this space in addition to Senor Ramon Taqueria, Nectar Cocktail bar, J&J Pizza, and Daybreak Kitchen & Biscuit. It's almost like a mini food hall. A lot of good options for a bigger party if you don't want to bike here and gives people different options to choose from. There are some odd hours, so make sure you check the restaurant times before coming. I also loved the art for their different beers. I loved their stouts but wasn't a huge fan of the Blacklight Berliner Weisse, which was almost like a sour, but in my opinion was a bit too sweet, but good for someone who doesn't like too beer-y of a taste.

We stopped by for post-hike beers and this place was so much fun! They have live music every Saturday and you can sit outside or inside. It's sort of like a self serve mini food hall where you can choose to order at the beer counter, a taco counter, or a pizza counter and pick up the food when ur buzzer they give you is ready. The loaded nachos are exceptional, and the tacos were out of this world. But the main event for me was the Stick Rice sour ale: my mild was blown! I normally don't go for sours, but this was very pleasant and had a sweeter after taste. Highly recommend!

Had a fun charity Bingo Night supporting I-ASC (International Association for Spelling to Communicate)! Enjoyed the pumpkin ale, hoping autumn finally comes soon! Great bartenders, great selection, and a fun jovial atmosphere. Not too bad for a Wednesday!

Beer: B+ They have a good variety of IPAs and sours. I've had a lot of Crooked One beers, and most of them are above average to excellent. Venue: B- situated in an industrial park, not much for views, but they've done the best they can with a large outdoor seating area. They have combined their space with the restaurant bar next store, so the inside is a lot bigger. There is a stage for live music, full bar, and a couple different food options to pick from. Not sure if the inside is dog friendly, but I've seen dogs on the patio area. They are kid tolerant, but the kids will be bored. Last time I was there, they added two arcade games to the tasting rooms. They also host some cool theme nights. Bring Your Own Vinyl is a fun one. Food: B there is a taco stand inside the brewery. It is good, but I feel it's a little expensive for the small portion sizes. A better bet is to go next store to the biscuit place.

Dark woods, colored lights stickers, TV playing, music going and the vats for brewing. Walked up and took a seat at the empty bar, arriving minutes after they opened on a Monday. Looked at the tap menu, as well as can for sale. My sister ordered a lemon lime cider and I decided on a Polvo Pils. After that trip to Prague, I will always search out a good pilsner. Ocelot had a wonderful pilsner, served properly. I followed this up with Little Black Book. Can you ever go wrong with a nitro tap beer? The answer is no. So, after two rounds, I was impressed with the beer, definitely better than what I had tasted the previous days. The beertender was attentive, the decor was somewhat eclectic, lots of colored lights strung from the ceiling. Barrels against the wall, as the main beer hall opened up to the production side of the establishment. The pinball room was awesome, wall to wall pinball machines, light flashing, looked like it would really be a happening place at quitting time. All in all it was the best beer experience I had while visiting. Would recommend a stop if you don't want to battle traffic out of IAD at the wrong time of day.

Many people around us ordered the special pig roast. Lots of meats and sides on a platters we had already eaten or we would have gotten that special. Let's talk about the staff. What a wonderful experience! The restaurant is a very, quite spacious and very welcoming. It's right next to a lake and so the setting was lovely. We had an indoor/outdoor room with doors that opened to the outside. I had a raspberry lemon martini with a sugared glass rim. Very nicely presented. They have a very varied menu and they also have a large gluten-free menu. We both had the lobster bisque as a starter and then we both ordered the fish tacos. The soup was filled with lots of lobster meat and was delicious. The fish tacos were made with cod and the waiter mentioned that the slaw had some habanero chile in it. I asked if it was spicy and he said it might have a slight kick, but was not spicy. He was absolutely correct and in fact, if he hadn't mentioned the habanero I would not have picked up on it at all. It was really good. If you order bread, (and you have choices on type), you are charged I think a dollar per order, but that is donated to help people who are food challenged. We were full from our dinner, but we could not pass up an order of key lime pie for dessert, which we shared. It was a hard choice because they had a special dessert which was chocolate peanut-butter pie. I wish we could have had both. Their other desserts also sounded great. By the way, a portion of their revenues from desserts are also donated to help those who need food assistance. I was very impressed that they do that. I want to mention that the wait staff was also great. Friendly, attentive, but not over-bearing. I can't say enough about Sweetwster Tavern. If I find myself in this area again, I will definitely be back.

For a weeknight, this restaurant was surprisingly busy, which felt like a good sign! Dinner started out with trying some of their appetizers. We got the Tex Mex Egg Rolls as well as their special Burrata appetizer. The Tex Mex Egg Rolls came with four tasty mini egg rolls filled with smoked chicken, corn, black beans, onions, peppers, and jalapeño jack cheese. They were served with a creamy avocado dipping sauce that added a cool, refreshing contrast to the savory filling. Overall, these were a light and flavorful way to start the meal. The Burrata special was also pretty good. It came with three crisp breads, cherry tomatoes, basil pesto, extra virgin olive oil and drizzles of balsamic glaze. I loved the buttery, creamy burrata paired with the juicy cherry tomatoes. I also liked how the basil pesto and balsamic glaze gave a bright, herby flavor. For my entree, I opted for the Wood Grilled Chicken Breast. Two generous pieces of tender grilled chicken were served over angel hair pasta tossed in brown butter sauce, alongside roasted cremini mushrooms and green beans. Interestingly, I got a lemony flavor in the brown butter sauce, which was unexpected but surprisingly delicious. I especially enjoyed the roasted cremini mushrooms. These were earthy, meaty and full of flavor! Overall, I really enjoyed my dinner at Sweetwater Tavern. From the flavorful starters to the hearty entree, it was a satisfying first dinner in Dulles. I'm glad I took the hotel receptionist's recommendation. Locals know best!
