She asked me what I did for work and cracked my neck on one side and that was it. The entire visit was 10 minutes and 5 of that was paperwork. Dr. Homer is extremely professional yet she is very easygoing. Her adjustment are wonderful. She has a light hand and is very time efficient. She is accommodating, offering appointment reminders and understands if you're running late. She provides homework which includes certain exercises or stretches to help out individual needs. I find out about Skyline Chiropractic through a Groupon deal. Initially, I find a bit of surprise at Dr. Homer's approach. She literally touches my back in a few areas, asks me about my reason(s) for showing up, proceeds with an adjustment, gives me a few necessary items, and I schedule the next appointment before heading out. She's very professional, and good at her job. She really seems to focus on each patient and ensures to finish with a patient before communicating with anyone else especially if there is not a dire situation that needs her attention. Walked in and receptionist wasn't wearing a mask. I asked if they don't wear masks there? She said (flippantly) "I do when I treat a patient". Oh! So you're the actual doctor and you're not wearing a mask. Good to know. This was my first and last time at the office. This kind of stuff is why chiropractors aren't regarded as "real doctors". I'm not gonna sit there and wonder why she doesn't think she needs to greet a patient with a mask. I thought maybe I was overreacting and then I drove by the long lines of people waiting to be vaccinated at the convention center. COVID IS STILL REAL AND STILL HERE. Look out for your patient's best interest. At least pretend to. It's a litmus test to new patients to see if you care enough to protect them by wearing a mask. My mom and I bought 2 Groupon packages. On Groupon it states the price is $470, on sale for $29, on her website the price is $39. The package included a consultation, x-ray, and adjustment. We didn't get an x-ray, and she didn't target out back complaints at all during the adjustment at all! The doctor was 10 minutes late, had multiple clients waiting outside, we had the first appointment of the day, yet we were last. Found this chiropractor on groupon. I have been having back pain since my recent c-section in april. Wasnt really expecting much, but my visit definatley superseded my expectation. I bought the 3 visit groupon w/ xray. First visit i went in and office was clean. Was greated by a receptionist and when Ms. Homer walked by she greeted me too. I was evaluated by Ms. Homer . She did not rush through like other chiropractors i have been through. Overall good experience. Location is kind of tricky especially if you follow gps. Bought a groupon for a 60 minute massage here because I didn't think those other places would be certified or have the knowledge. Called and scheduled an appointment with reception. The receptionist was very nice and called me for reminders. The location is a bit difficult to find. They validate parking. Just enter the building and make your way to the 2nd floor. Sheila is a nice lady but she did not help me whatsoever. I've been to several different chiropractors and I have never felt so disregarded as a patient. I came in for lower back pain and she did not even try to adjust it. She gave me "electrical therapy" which did nothing, left the room for 5 minutes, came back and "attempted" to adjust my neck only once on one side, which didn't even pop, then tried to set me up for my next appointment. No thank you. Is it because I used a Groupon and this was my last of the 3 visits that it paid for? Wouldn't you try to give me a good experience so that I'll be encouraged to come back? Dr. Hanin saw me my first two times at Skyline Chiropractic and she wasn't there so Sheila took me the third time. I actually left feeling more pain in my lower back than I did coming in. I had to go to The Joint the next day where they adjusted all the places she didn't (even my neck). What I've learned from my Chiropractic experiences is it's not just about the adjustments, its about the Doctor and how much care and consideration they put into tailoring their work to the type of body or pain that you have. I've been seeing Sheila for some time now because of a car accident years ago that's caused me problems with my neck. She's done a great job getting me back in alignment, giving me advice on how to lay when I sleep, what things I can do to help alleviate issues in my back and neck, and has all around been friendly and as a great a person as you can expect. Dr. Homer has been great. I've been seeing her for 7 years when I had major back problems. She healed me, and maintains me. also she gets a cute intern once in a while. I had a foot problem a couple years back, and I loved hoe she got mad at my doctor saying that my issue may be permanent. This was the first time I have been to a chiropractor and I had I great experience. Since I have had my son, now 13 month old, I have had really bad lower back pain. Dr. Sheila evaluated me and took X-rays and then did an alignment. Almost immediately I felt like my back was looser and I did not feel the sharp pain for days she even gave me some paperwork on stretches and poses I could do at home to help alleviate my pain at home.
