Absolutely delicious and authentic Persian food! I've tried many kabob places around Los Angeles, but Shekarchi Kabob is on another level. The meat is perfectly grilled -- juicy, flavorful, and tender -- and the rice is always fluffy with just the right amount of saffron. Their Soltani Combo is my go-to; it's generous and perfectly seasoned. The restaurant is spotless, the staff are polite and attentive, and the service is fast even during busy hours. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the hospitality. The prices are fair for the quality and portions, and parking is easy on Westwood Blvd. If you're craving real Persian kabob and a warm, welcoming vibe, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!

Everything we tried was amazing! The tahdig with gheimeh appetizer was so good, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The shallot yogurt instantly reminded me of being back home, and the koobideh was honestly one of the best I've had in LA , super juicy and full of that real Persian taste. The owner, Aman, is such a great guy, super friendly and welcoming. You can tell he really cares about his food and his guests. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to!

Amazing kabob in the heart of tehrangeles. The koobideh is so juicy flavorful. Definitely one of the best kabobs in the area. The barg is very tender and cooked well. The owner is also a very nice man who you can tell is dedicated to his craft and his customers. Can't wait to be back for more!

My boyfriend and I were having dinner with his family and came across this place. The 5 of us came into the restaurant to eat there. The menu isn't extensive so it didn't take long for us to choose. I ordered one ground beef kabob (koobideh) that came with rice and a few veggies like a roasted tomato, one piece of squash, and one small piece of a bell pepper. The rice is really what fills you up. The kabob was flavorful but I wish the plate came with a bit more veggies for almost $20. We also ordered a Mediterranean salad which was big enough to be shared. Another family member ordered a smaller side salad. One thing I will point out is that the salads were super fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. We also got a side of tzatziki that was the perfect addition. Overall, great food and the person helping us was super nice and helpful.

Took forever for some reason, was cold in the center and I watched 2 tables who ordered after me get their food first. Annoying. Blueys habenero hot sauce advertised as "espicy espicy" on the bottle. Not so. And many bottles on the patio are just left out in the sun. Gross. Mango smoothie, similar story. I liked the fresh mint but using unripe, frozen mango makes for a bland smoothie. There's a self-serve water station with comically small water glasses and the water's not even chilled. Seems like a ploy to force you to buy something out of their fridge. Spent over 30 dollars on a solo lunch and left hungry. The food on the other tables looked Instagramable so if that's what you're looking for then fine, give it a shot. But trust me this place is mid at best.

I dine out to get flavors that are not easily made at home, and unfortunately, I did not find them here. The food lacks depth, and frankly, it needs salt to make it stand out. The pizza dough is actually really well prepped, easily as good as Pizzeria Sei, which is the best pizza place in LA, period. But again, it just lacks flavor. Also, as a small side note, there is a 4% employee health insurance surcharge added to the final bill. I probably just missed it listed on the menu somewhere, but oh well.
