They have protein shakes (they're right across from F45 so genius move on their end) with the option of whey or pea protein. Seems like a new local business so definitely go to give your support! Persian café with lots of free covered parking, outlets, and wifi, but okayish drinks and food. For my drink I got the Pistachio Cream Matcha and the matcha flavor was pretty weak. It was more so a sweet pistachio milk with a hint of matcha. Pistachio flavor was good though. A solid option if you want a matcha, but don't want a "real" matcha lol. To eat, the baba's chicken caesar wrap and that was okay as well. It tasted pretty healthy which I do like, but a lot of the components made it feel like I was eating cardboard. The creamy sauce did help though and I loved the crunchy and refreshing side salad. Interior and bathrooms are pretty clean with a good amount of seating, tables, and outlets. The baristas here were super nice and welcoming. The music can get a bit loud though especially the one coming from the fitness room it's connected to. I've been following Meymuni Cafe on IG since they've opened and today I finally made the drive to try it. There were so many yummy options I didn't know what to pick. I ended up getting the kottoleta & kalbas club to go & has a kotlet plate to eat there. Absolutely delicious and super fresh. Tbh I could've eaten a tray of the kotlet, it was freshly made and so juicy and hot..we also ordered to the famous lavashak shake and date/tahini shake, SO GOOD! The cafe itself is bright and welcoming and meticulously clean, which is super important for me. Lastly the service was amazing, the owner Shaheen was very kind and Paulina who served us was super sweet and helpful. Was looking for a place to pop in to do some work while I had a few hours to kill before dinner with a friend, and came across this place. And it did not disappoint. PARKING: FREE parking, but very easy to miss. If you're heading southbound on Sepulveda, turn RIGHT after the bus stop. Like immediately. If you see the Metro parking, you're too late (learned that the hard way having to turn back twice to find the parking). After parking, look for the signs pointing you to F45/Meymuni. Go straight through that door, even though it's somewhat blocked by a table (don't turn left into the leasing office like me). WHAT I ORDERED: Anjeer matcha latte THE DRINK: This was so delicious! The unique flavor combination was what caught my eye - I was very curious about the fig cream. It ended up having a nutty flavor that went really well with the matcha. It was lightly sweet, though I wish the flavor was a bit stronger. The matcha part tasted okay - I wish it was stronger, especially given the cream top, but that's just my personal preference. SERVICE: Super fast and friendly. VIBES: Amazing. Lots of open space, and they sell additional snacks and products on the side. It's next to an F45. And perfect for getting work done or studying. Later we realized the employee was just on a quick restroom break, which happens, but in the moment it felt a little off. By the time someone came out, the warm welcoming energy just wasn't there, and it honestly made my partner want to leave before we even ordered. We ended up staying because I really liked the concept and wanted to support them. We tried their first sandwich and their first smoothie, and both were actually pretty good. The space itself was spotless, very clean and modern, which I definitely appreciate. The downsides for me were the price point since my partner felt he could make something similar at home for much less, and the parking situation, which wasn't the easiest and had a few people hanging around outside that gave it an odd vibe. The photo doesn't do a good job at showing scale, I easily could have stopped after the first half of the Spicy Shirazi wrap, but kept going because it was so good. A self-described "modern Persian cafe" that certainly lives up to its name, it's a great spot for a coffee, smoothie, or a tasty Persian sandwich. Honestly, I think it's one of the best cafes in the area for getting some work done, especially given how easy parking is. PARKING: First, I should note that parking is very easy but confusing at first. What you want to do is drive into the "retail parking" alleyway (under the LA Metro Bridge), drive all the way in, and make a right into the spacious parking garage. If the gates are down, just pull up and they'll automatically open. There's a ton of parking. (Don't go to the residential parking garage opening, which is a separate area). FOOD: Pretty good. I got the Mamani beef sandwich wrapped in sangak bread. The beef jambon was tasty- reminded me of pastrami. The potato salad in the sandwich was refreshing. It comes with a side salad- I chose the classic shirazi. I also ordered a Persian chai. It comes unsweetened by default, but they give you a stick of "saffron crystal rock candy" for you to adjust sweetness. Plus when I went, they laid out a bunch of complimentary Persian pastries for you to grab yourself. Nothing beats a chai paired with a cardamom cookie and a date. I've been to Meymuni a handful of times and I absolutely love it. I usually visit midweek when I'm at school and have some time between classes. I usually get the same thing - latte or cappuccino with orange blossom syrup and a spinach borek. It hits the spot every single time! I haven't actually tried any of their food yet but everything looks and sounds so good so I for sure will next time. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner last time and he was awesome. Great café at a very vibrant part of town next to a very cool gym. I came here for coffee, but stayed for the smoothie tea and also the sandwiches. Latte I had was quite good. The pink protein shake was one of the best I've ever had. The two teeth I tried were bubbly and tasty although slightly sweet the two sandwiches I had which were the tuna one and some kind of meat one with spicy harissa sauce were incredible. The first thing you'll notice when you approach this new Cafe on Sepulveda Boulevard that you have to ring yourself in so you have to hit a bell on the outside sidewalk area and then they release the gate. I ordered the spicy chicken wrap. I was told that the spices were very mild, but the funny part was there was like two little peppers that were hotter than the rest so it was a surprise and definitely woke my taste buds up. The wrap was good, but it had too much bread for the amount of ingredients so I just ripped off the extra bread. A young man (possibly one of the owners?) came up to us and asked us how we found out about the place. I told him it was on the Frankie app. I also mentioned to him that I don't understand why you can't make any kind of real breakfast food since you're opening at 7 AM and that's what I would expect from a place that opens that early. He explained he's not allowed to cook any kind of eggs. I've gone to a place in Century City. That did not have a kitchen and was just a sandwich place, but they had these little egg cookers and I don't think they ever had problems, I think it would be a good idea if they had some kind of sandwich that included Bacon and eggs and breakfast type of foods. Came here for the mamani sandwich, which was okay. The sangak bread was really good but I think it was the mortadella I didn't love. I don't know what's in that white sauce but it's bomb. The real star of the show was the Lavashak smoothie. We got the OG and the Torshak Summer smoothies which both have Lavashak in them. The OG is more sour and was my favorite. The Torshak is more fragrant and sweeter. They both have small chunks of actual lavashak in them. They're sooooo good. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop just for the smoothies alone. Came in around 5pm and was told they weren't serving coffees or any hot drinks because they shut down the machine for the day. not the biggest deal but they do close at 7PM. I ordered an iced matcha and overall it was solid Service and ambiance was nice until they began blasting the music around 6:20ish. I know the drill. I was a server at a restaurant for 4 years. I overheard that they had an event that night at 7 (time they close) I wasn't kicked out but it would've been nice to be told there was an event and asked politely to finish up so they could move around some of the tables.
