Adjvar (Lyutenica) costs extra with the cevapi. The Grilled Feta was a joke (deducting 1star just for that) Service is order at a counter an then wait for a looomg time to get your food brought out. Went here while all the bosnians were in town for the world cup and it was MOBBED. If there's one thing bosnian people love, it's their country's own food. Despite it being so busy, the service was wonderful, the woman who was cooking in the back came by and personally thanked people for their patience. The ćevapi and burek were excellent! If you're not familiar with bosnian food - get the ćevapi 10 pieces, with onion (duh) and extra side of kajmak (you won't regret it). Bosnian restaurant with homey vibes. Came here for dinner with a friend as we wanted to try something different, and I've had this place bookmarked. We split a plate of grilled veggies (the full size is good for two) and the combo plate. We opted for the mix of 10 cevapi, 1 beef patty, and 2 shish kebabs but you can also get 30 cevapi instead. The cevapi were these little rolls of beef and were absolutely delicious; those were my fave. We had a side of warm pita bread to accompany the meat, and it was a great hearty combo. For dessert, we split a tufahiya because it sounded cool. It's essentially a peeled apple with a walnut paste inside and a light syrup outside of it. It's not too sweet (the walnut paste was not seeet at all) and it was interesting to look it. The waitress was nice and there seemed to be a lot of locals that go here. Went with a group of 5 in February. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and wanted dressing on side. Salad came with no dressing. I told the guy who brought it out and he refused to listen and said dressing is on there. I started to eat it and no dressing at all. Asked another waiter if I could have some Caesar dressing. This Balkan eatery/market in a indescript shopping center in west LA seems to be exclusively frequented by Serbian, Montenegren, and Croatian nationals and that is just fine by me. It's authentic and if you don't have any experience with the Balkans you may find the menu a bit tough to navigate but it's basically mediterranean food. Some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. Made me feel a ratatouille moment for a culture I don't come from. The food here is so delicious and homey, and every bite was fantastic. Eating here makes me feel as if I were at someone's home, eating food made with the love of a parent. The grilled potatoes were simple and tasty, and the grilled peppers were a nice way to cut through the fattiness of the other dishes. The sarma in grape leaves were very comforting, especially with the great flavor from the broth.
