In my first review I was upset by the relative high price for gas at this station. Now I realize that the price here is dependent on when the station gets a gas delivery. They seem to set the price, based on their cost and mark up, then keep it consistent until their next delivery so the price could be higher or lower than other stations in Carlsbad. I stopped by the station around noon recently when the price for regular was 30 cents less than Costco. I could not get near the pumps as delivery vans, mostly from the nearby Amazon fulfillment center, filled all the pump positions, drive way and out to the street. Tips: check Gasbuddy for prices before buying gas. If you want to buy gas from this 24 hr. station do it late at night. read more

The car wash here is great. Very affordable and even a touch less option that works great. HOWEVER, the vacuums available are a bummer. They require quarters only to operate but there is no where to get quarters. Went inside hoping to do cash back and get some quarters and they said they don't do that. Bottom Line: A large, clean convenience store and Shell gas station. This Circle K is located a block off of Palomar Airport Road in Bressi Ranch. When I lived in Rancho Carrillo it was my go to place for a weekend fountain soda because I like that they have styrofoam cups and a 32 ounce soda is $0.89 before tax. They also have a wide variety of Coca-Cola and Pepsi products. There is a taco stand inside the gas station and they serve breakfast burritos, tacos, quesadillas and similar items. Otherwise this Circle K has lots of unappetizing hot foods and plenty of packaged junk. This Circle K has a decent number of Shell gas pumps and a car wash. There is a Red Box too. read more

What can you say about a gas station? Not that much. This is conveniently located off Palomar Airport road. There's plenty of pumps and a car wash. They have several outside tables next to the Circle K building so you sit while waiting for your car. Prices seem a little higher at this location than the other Shell down the street. But this is a more convenient location. They also have pumps for EV fuel or whatever that energy efficient fuel is called. If you're looking to buy a lottery ticket, there's usually not a line. read more

I used to come here all the time. Unfortunately, they randomly switched all of the #2 Diesel pumps for 'Renewable' #2 Diesel. Despite the similarities in name, these are NOT the same. I almost filled up with this R99 crap by mistake. After consulting my owner's manual, I realized that I should not use R99 fuel for my engine. It seems extremely misleading to call it #2 Diesel, since I can use #2 Diesel but can't use Renewable #2 Diesel. It's a real shame. Not only does this place have some of the best diesel prices but it's a genuinely nice station and is close to my house. This place saved my bootie today. Nails in tires suck! Driving down Palomar Airport, my dashboard started to signal me in red flashing warning signs that my left rear tire was low in air - turns out, I had a big ole' nail in my tire. I figured I just needed to get to a gas station to put enough air in it to get home and then I'll call roadside assistance from the comfort of my own home. I knew of this gas station located right outside of the Bressi Ranch and Rancho Carrillo developments so I figured i'd roll in there and hope they had air. Sure enough they did. whew. I got my free air and was on my merry or not so merry way. I've been here before but I've only filled up on occasion when I was running on fumes and wouldn't be able to make it my usual fill up joint. This is a nice place but I've found that gas is usually 15-20 cents more than other areas and since I already get screwed by my car needing to use premium gas, I just don't feel like paying an extra premium. I'd use these guys more if they had competitive rates. HInt, hint! This particular Shell gas station also has a really nice drive thru car wash and a pretty large convenient store. With same style driving my car drove 70miles less compared to 1 full tank of costco gasoline. This means gas sold here gives %20 less mileage. I will never ever buy gas from here. read more

I have lived in this neighborhood for 7 years and have patronized this station regularly. I bought a car wash and upon finishing, the dryer blew my windshield trim off my Acura RSX. I reported it immediately to the weekend cashier who took photos for the manager. I took photos as well. I sent the manager my photos and spoke with her about the incident. She told me to get a repair estimate and they would take care of it. Today I delivered the estimate and the OWNER point blank accused me of lying and trying to get them to pay for the damage. Bressi Shell carwash is good, but the Detail Center is Great!! I've had my older model Lexus detailed many times but I've never seen such attention to minute details, inside and out. I had the clay polish done just before a nasty rainstorm and my car was the only clean car in the parking lot after the rain. Everything just ran off it beautifully and no dirt stuck. Now, a week later and it's still clean. I'm saving lots of money not having to wash it as often. My husband liked the way my car sparkled so much I took his 2003 Xterra in. The trim looked ragged and old and there was a scratch on the rear door. I wasn't expecting much. HAPPY SURPRISE! It came back looking like new! Highly recommended. I paid for the upgraded $9 "spot free rinse" wash and it left my car more spotted than before the wash. When I told the attendant in the store and asked for my money back, he said no. CAR DETAIL PLACE REVIEW- I have a 03 Honda element that is wrapped and it was looking pretty bad. They did an amazing job. My rims and interior have not looked this good since I bought the car. This station is charging premium 91 gasoline prices for E85. They're trying to gouge people for using fuel alternatives. E85 should be less than a gallon of 87, no more than 2.85/gal. Most stations in SD have E85 for ~$2.65/gal. This should be illegal. Unless you're desperate, pass this station and go to the next. read more

This is my favorite gas station ever! I have been coming here since they opened over 10 years ago. The staff is amazing, and they have a very low turnover rate which says a lot about how awesome this place is. Everyone is always happy, helpful and pleasant. The customer service is absolutely amazing, above and beyond what you normally get at a gas station. They've got awesome food & drinks. They serve street tacos on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and they are LEGIT! They grill adobada, carne, and pollo and serve the tacos with guacamole, cilantro, onion & delicious green & red sauce. I just had my car "washed" there. The blower dislodged a chrome trim accent and broke some of the holders it snaps into place with. They asked me to get an estimate, which I did, and it will cost $423 to replace. The owner says that this has never happened before, and must be a problem with my car. Read through some of the car wash reviews, it's happened at least once before (and they accused the patron of 7 years of being a liar.) Do not patronize the place. They will not repair any damage they cause. And since it's documented in a review, chances are that others have had this happen too and didn't post here. read more

I hoped this would stop your denials. But, each time you deny, I will repost the truth. I spoke to Roby, the owner in person at the Circle K on Gateway Rd. in Bressi Ranch as he rudely denied my legitimate claim. My Insurance company did not balk because the damage was clearly from a car wash. But I was out my $500 deductible. Always check your car before leaving the premises and insist on filing a written claim before leaving the property. Take a video and photos, and call your insurance company from the car wash premises also. I hope this helps someone. read more

EXTREMELY RUDE, TERRIBLE SERVICE I went to buy gas here today, I had issues with the pump, it wasn't working, I went back into the store to let the guy know, He responded very rudely, he told me I wasn't doing it right. I told him I believe I was doing it correctly but that I would try again. I tried again, it didn't work. I had to go back in a third time to let him know, he was very rude again, he said, "why did you park in front of the pump with the orange cone that has a bag on the pump handle?!" I said I didn't, he said, "yes, you did, i see it from here!" It was absolutely ridiculous the way he spoke to me in front of everyone. The worse thing of all, I believe his Manager, heard the conversation, but did not do a thing to correct him. I just read several yelp reviews on this locations, there has been numerous yelp reviews on the same Guy that was rude to me. Clearly the owners/managers are accepting of their employees being RUDE to their Paying customers. Do yourself a favor, drive the extra 2.5 miles to the Shell gas station on the corner of San Marcos Blvd/Rancho Sante Fe, it has very kind employees, and gas cost less it's .25 - .39 less per gallon of gas. read more

The car wash here is to be avoided at all cost. My VW Tiguan is an easy car to wash, but this automatic wash is the worst. The "brushes" are hard plastic, not cloth, and they didn't even touch the windows on the driver's side, or the rear window. I had to wash the car myself after having it washed here. read more

Their car wash is a rip-off! The cheapest one you can get is for $8. Their credit card machine never works and once you're there to pay, you find out the machine does not give change.
