She tried telling me the window tint thats been on the car since I purchased it brand new off the lot in 2020 was illegal. I tried telling her there must be a mistake, since I have passed inspections every year at different locations. Her response was they illegally passed my car and I needed to remove the tint. Instead of wasting my time arguing with this lady I immediately drove down the road to Flow Honda and my vehicle passed literally an hour later. I have already filed a complaint with the state and will be disputing the charge to my card.

Later I called a mechanic at another shop, and over the phone he said sounds like a bad coil pack. It was. A $40 part fixed it. Of course, add the $300+ I spent for a wasted morning, and superfluous part swapping at this auto repair shop I suggest you do not patronize!

I was assured by the cashier, stating with a straight face, that "only high end cars like Ferraris and Maseratis have factory window tint". Yes, at no point would a manufacturer as proletariat as Toyota roll a car out of their factory with window tint. I'm sure my wife's car, purchased from the Toyota dealership as is, only had factory tint by mistake. So, I can only assume that they get a kickback for up-charging customers or this guy is just a dotard. Anyway, unless you are independently wealthy and own a fancy car, you will probably pay for a tint fee. Going elsewhere for my other vehicles.

I called Full Service Automotive Repair and spoke with Danny. Very friendly. Told me they could get me in right away. I showed up about 30 mins later and Danny was outside with another customer. Told me to pull right up to the service bay door. They pulled in my vehicle and performed the inspection. I was in and out in about 30 minutes, with none of the "your vehicle needs $5,000 in repairs" type of stuff. I will be back for when I need repairs or maintenance done for sure.
