A four-star average Yelp review for a gas station? Let me explain why. It's basically just an ordinary gas station. But it's arrayed very conveniently, you can get in and exit from lots of directions, lots of space to drive around. Plus it's usually very clean and organized, not small feat. The food and drink selection is normal stuff. But, well, here's what got me. They put a bottle of sriracha on top of the hot dog condiment stand. Plus a few other things, just in case. They have one little section of fairly normal natural nuts and snacks from a small company. And then they have this massive new soda wall-of-death machine where you can dial up a carbonated beverage product, add some mix-in-syrups, you can basically make thousands of different nasty beverage alternatives from the same machine. Staff is always friendly, I don't know. Maybe it's on top of some ancient power center, but it's always a little nicer to stop by here than another gas station. There's a carwash out back but I've never tried it. read more

Holy crap. I live next door and the last three times I go there to buy something the doors are locked. The employee tells me at 9:45 (and 10:30 and 11:09) they are changing the register? Is it your policy to lock out customers out or are employees being lazy. The same girl tells me every time. . Never heard of such a thing. In the last couple of times I've been there I've seen: Bum-fights, Bums being arrested, Bums peeing on the building, Bums begging. However the location is convenient so keep your eyes open, just say no, pump your gas, and split! The store is well stocked and I kinda understand how the staff can be a little freaked out at times.....They work in a warzone! read more

I visit here everyday. Most of the cashiers are nice. My one star is due to the lady who cleans the floors and complains in Spanish when people come in during the beginning of business hours (8-9am and yes I can understand her). The worst though was when I was stand in line the other day and one of the clerks was being incredibly rude to someone who was having problems with the car wash. I could not believe the language and tone of voice he used with this customer who only wanted help. He basically told him too bad and he was out of luck at the end of it all. After realizing NONE OF THESE PUMPS WORK and will NOT allow you to PAY OUTSIDE I went in to pay when it still wouldn't work I went back inside to found out why the pump still wont work the lady put my money on the wrong pump and said she was gonna fix it I pass the pump she put in on with a guy n a yellow cab saying he got free gas I said no they put it on wrong pump I realized they never fixed my pump so I went in for the 3rd time to ask for my money back I was told by someone lady who came out that because they made a mistake she wasnt giving me my money we went out to talk to cab driver nd then she told me again he already pumped the gas I'm not giving u money back I don't know him u put it on the wrong pump she said I didn't help u I'm calling the police REALLY CALL THEM I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT U TAKING MY MONEY ND PUTTING IT ON ANOTHER PUMP ND REFUSING ME A REFUND I LEFT Nd now have to fight it with my credit card company as well as filing a complaint with bbb since the shell is privately owned they cant make them do anything complete joke read more

This is my favorite cash wash downtown. Though nothing fancy, the wash is super reliable (never out of service during normal hours of operation) and does a decent job. I'm giving one star due to one upsetting service incident, which resulted in being verbally assaulted by an employee for no apparent reaspn. I paid for my wash inside, then went outside to get back in my vehicle and proceed to the wash, only to find cones blocking the entrance. Seeing a last vehicle entering the wash, I got out of my vehicle to politely and sympathetically plead to the attendant to be the last vehicle, understanding he's probably not working his favorite job in the world, but hoping he could understand that I just paid for the wash with the expectation of getting to use it at the time of receipt. Unfortunately, he must have had something terrible going on personally in his life, because he proceeded to cuss me out after I explained my reasoning for why he should do the courtesy of letting me go through. He was yelling at me that, "the car wash closes at 9:30[pm], you f**king b*tch!"; he continued cursing me from across the lot well after I was clearly leaving, avoiding any possible escalation of his aggressive behavior by speaking to him any further. Aside from feeling threatened, unexpectedly verbally abused, and ignoring the fact that I wasn't able to get my car washed after paying for it, I feel that I shouldn't have been treated with such an unprofessional, rude, and aggressive attitude, when I'm a loyal and respectful customer of two years and never did anything to deserve such a response. His attitude was completely uncalled for and reflects very poorly on this normally wonderful establishment. It's a true shame, since I'm normally impressed with the staff, which is very pleasant and fun (lightly joking and enjoying interaction with customers). As a side note, the car wash codes last two months, so I'll just save this one for the next time that angry attendant is not there. read more

I have been going to this station for years due to the local convernience. I never go in, just pay at the pump get a car wash and go. The very few times I have gone in and asked for air. They are rude. I told the counter person about a malfunction in the carwash on Saturday morning and he mumbled something and ponted at my car and laughed when I told him I was trying to help and that I won't be back. After all the overnight fireworks last night, my car had all sorts of debris, and dust. It looked like I had been through a sand storm...I made a quick stop to the car wash after work to get it washed. Like I have done so many times...I was extremely upset when I came out of the car wash to see half of my car was full of suds. I paid for the works and really was cheated out of my wash. When I attempted to tell both the women at the register they played dumb, I asked if I could at least get my car rinsed off and they just gave me a stupid, clueless look. Been coming here for years never have I been so pissed. Needless to say I had to come home and rinse it off Never again...I'm done with this place. BEWARE-This is a Shell Gas Station with a self serve car wash. BEWARE...I've been there twice for the car wash and had trouble the 1st time and an attendant from the gas station mini mart came out and helped me and the car wash was mediocre. BEWARE...Today I got there, filled my tank and asked the mini mart attendent to add the cheap car wash and told her I'd had a problem my last visit and she said it's simple, just go to the start of the car wash and put the car in neutral, punch in the numbers on the receipt and put the car in neutral and all would be taken care of automatically. BEWARE....About half way through the car wash my car went off the track and I started honking my horn hoping someone would come to my aid. I finally put the car in drive and drove out and went immediately to the mini mart attendent and told her of my problem and that the car didn't get washed. BEWARE...She told me that she asked if I knew how to operate the and I said yes, so she could/would do nothing. I got home and tried to find a number for this business and when I did I called and talked briefly with the manager who gave me a number for Rks Enterprises which I called and got a voice mail with no identification of what the business is. I hope anyone using this business uses extreme caution, this is a total rip off and dangerous to your car and sanity. The "owner" wanted to be really rude follow my car around the gas station when clearly I was giving her business and kept telling me I had to leave. Was sitting in line for a car wash and walked over to my car saying I needed to leave because I was "blocking herb business" so when I finally tried to leave she wants to stand in the street area to where I could possibly hit her! i had to pump my tires, so after i filled up(10+ gallons) i went inside to try my luck at some free air. the girl behind the counter didn't even hesitate to start the machine. she made my day. all 4 of my tires were under inflated, so needless to say one pumping was not enough time. to make the story short, i had to ask for air three times and not once did i get attitude. i left my favorite gas station with a giant smile. they made my day x3! read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would it is literally the worst fuel station I have ever been to the staff are extremely rude when asked for the restroom key I was told to ask the cashier. DO NOT EVER GIVE THIS STATION YOUR BUSINESS. I purchased a car wash here, they asked me if I wanted help going through it. I said I think I"ll be ok, as I've been through many a car wash in my day. Turns out this one was different in that there aren't guide rails that pull your car in neutral through. You follow the guiding lights, they tell you to stop, and then the machine moves around your car to clean it. I pulled up too far as I was following the lights on the far end of the wash, which it turns out aren't connected to the machine. When I noticed this, I looked to the side at the machine lights, which told me to back up. I did. The machine lights told me to stop. I did. The machine started cleaning around my car. It dispensed thick soap over the entire car. Turns out the machine didn't tell me to back up enough, because it then proceeded to rinse behind my car. I couldn't pull back until the machine was done. By then it was too late. I pulled out, went back to the cashier and asked for another car wash code and explained why. The manager came out and said "we asked you if you needed help... you said no. so you have to pay again." I said "excuse me? your machine lights guided me to back up and then to stop. I followed its exact directions." He said, "you went backwards. your problem." I started yelling at that point. After an unbelievable and unforgiving exchange, I WAS FORCED TO PAY FOR A SECOND WASH TO GET THE SOAP OFF MY CAR FROM THE FIRST WASH. IN SHORT, THAT MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDITELY. I've never experienced anything like that in my life and will never go back. read more

I have been going to this gas station for gas and carwash. This past Memorial weekend purchased gas and a the "Works" carwash. After filling up on gas proceeded to carwash and noticed car in front of me was backing up after their wash. Honked my horn thinking they were trying to get another wash then they continued to exit the wash station. After I placed my car in park and applied the brakes the wash began. After the first pass with soap and brush then the rinse came afterwards then the blower went on. I did not receive any wax or anti water spot wash. Just one pass with soap and water then rinse as the machine move forward then green light to move forward to blower is not the "Works" its the "Express". Went inside and noticed the vehicle that was in front of me with a complaint stating that the carwash is not working (reason why he was backing up because he said he did not pay for the "Express" but the "Works" also. I explained to the attendant "Juan" that happened to me too and would like to get a refund. Juan states "you got soap and rinse right, that's how it is" I replied I did not pay for the "Express", I paid for the "Works" showing him my receipt he did not even try to view my receipt. So after he refused to refund my wash I told him I will write a complaint to your corporate headquarters and submit a gas station complaint for this specified Shell at this address. Be warned DO NOT chose anything but the EXPRESS, you may not get a refund back if you do not get what you pay for. read more
