Everything was delicious! We tried pizza with sausage, Reuben sandwich, and white pizza with spinach & tomatoes. It was the best red sauce I've ever had. It had a slight hint of sweetness but not too much. I usually don't even like red sauce pizza. The sausage was spicy and big clumps of it! The Reuben was saucy and delicious. I will definitely be back. Service was great too. It was definitely a hometown feel.

Great service from Tabby and the pizza was good....but overcooked. I got a carry out Sicilian for my in-laws and they were very unhappy with how burnt the crust was. I will treat this as a bad day for the pizza chef, because they get it right 99% of the time....but not Thursday.

Service: 5-star! Attentive, patient, and welcoming! Fast and accurate service. Restaurant: 4.5 Outside building doesnt look like a restaurant but as soon as you walk through the door in the front, it's a very intimate and warm atmosphere. There is a bar area inside and TVs on the wall if you want to watch college football. Food: 4.5 - LOTS of toppings on the pizza, wedding soup was good. The half point deduction went to flavor. The crust was soft, fresh and doughy but didn't have any distinctive flavor profile. I'm not easily overwhelmed but their pies, especially the EBUT (their supreme) overwhelmed me with the amount of toppings. The Buffalo chicken pizza could've used some garlic/a bit more kick but loved that their pizza isn't dry. LOTS of cheese...more than Mineo's if you thought Mineo's was over the top... BTW, I highly recommend heating their leftover pizza up in a frying pan--the bottom of the pizza gets crispy while the generous toppings are warm/heated/provides flavor.

You either hate Shelly's Pizza or love it! I love it! It's doughy and perfect amount of carbs on carbs and a small pizza will take you a long way after a night out. I love the prices as they're affordable, the people are nice and treat you like they care about the brand, and the diner feel makes you feel like you're welcomed. They also have free parking which is absolutely hard to find now a days.

Fantastic food! Cheap, family owned and family restaurant vibe. Big place. Full bar. Huge menu- something for everybody. Large cocktail menu as well. The stuffed banana peppers are fabulous and so is their pizza. Great place. Definitely check them out, you can keep coming back and get something different every visit- the menu really is that big

The pizza we got was the worst pizza we ever had. It was cold. Minimal toppings and had a funny taste. No sauce. Very disappointed

Stop 12 with pizza passport and first time here. Heard the story of the connections to Vincent's and eager to try. Staff very friendly. My slice of pepperoni was large. The dough was thick and slightly floppy and doughy. Heavy layer of cheese and very little layer of sauce. Top layer of pepperoni cooked nicely as some were double layered to where the bottom wasn't as crispy. Eats like my childhood pizza shop with the heavy cheese layer

Not worth the high price. They only put toppings on about half the pizza and the crust was burnt.

Walking back to the dining room is more reminiscent of having entered through the wrong door. There was a lot of restaurant clutter to be observed on the way but the seating area was very pleasant as was our greeting and attention given to our dinners. What excellent surprises awaited us as our appetizers and main courses made their way to our table. The spinach calzone was superb with a crust that was perfection. Next came my spinach rolls which were just as good. Lots of homemade pasta dishes were next followed much later by many take home boxes. For about twenty bucks each we just couldn't eat everything. When you enter the restaurant, there are a few refrigerators like you'd find in a house right in the lobby area. You walk past what used to be a candy counter to get to the dining area. We were greeted right away and sat at our table. The waiter brought us our drinks right away. He also brought us 4 pepperoni rolls they said were extras. They were ok. Not exactly what I remember. They came with a side of sauce which was sweet and had a good taste. I ordered the spinach calzone which is one of their popular dishes. The others got the chicken Parmesan. My dish was ok. The crust was kind of crispy and had a weird texture. I was surprised there was no ricotta in the calzone. It was pretty big. The chicken Parmesan was ok. It came with chunks of cut up chicken, sauce and a lot of cheese. It was a good size. Mushrooms were added to each one, and we got charged $9 for them, which we thought was a little much since we weren't made aware of it. The restaurant has changed hands a number of times over the years, so it makes sense the food is not quite like it was. The service was great.

I really enjoy that the pasta is fresh and the menu isn't 40 pages long. It's straight to the point and you know what you're getting based on what is listed under the pasta shape. My short rib ricotta gnocchi was good but I do wish it had a bit more salt to bring more of the flavor to the front. The gnocchi texture was perfect and pillowy. The short rib mixed in nicely with all of the pasta and the sauce. My spouse enjoyed the cannelloni, which was pretty much their lasagna but also wanted a bit more salt. Our server was very nice and walked us through the menu options as well as told us about the seafood special for the night. The bread came out first and was delicious. The salad was also good and I don't usually like arugula. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and I enjoy that they take the time to do that. The space is very cute and you can't really miss it even with it being in an executive building. It's a smaller area but it can seat a good amount of people. We noticed they had a pasta making class so maybe next time we're in town, we can do it. The red sangria had a great balance where it wasn't too sweet. We didn't do dessert but we did enjoy the digestif at the end with limoncello and my spouse ate the amaretti cookies as I couldn't.

This restaurant is open for dinner and catering for dining in and takeout. It has many of the same menu items as its excellent sister restaurant Alla Famiglia. Each meal includes bread and oil, optional appetizers (e.g., meatball and mussels diavolo), a first course of salad and pasta, the chosen main course (e.g., chicken marsala, cacciatore, veal chop, and filet mignon), and then if desired dessert. Alcoholic beverages (e.g., cocktails, wines, and beers) are also available. For my husband's and my wedding anniversary, I made a reservation for Arlecchino through OpenTable. We arrived shortly after they opened for the day. Our first impressions: Valet was required for our vehicle. We felt interested in seeing the exterior and remodeled interior of the schoolhouse. Most of the restaurant was empty then, but the seating hostess took us to the worst table--the smallest table inches from the front door. I requested a different table, and she then gave us a much better one. OpenTable had said that the dress code was business casual, but other customers wore casual clothes, and a hostess wore shorts and a baggy sweatshirt hoodie. Our names were written on a chalkboard above the kitchen and on my menu but not my husband's menu. Our waiter provided timely service and spoke courteously with us. (If you are wondering how to pronounce the restaurant's name, he told me something like are-lee-kee-no or our-lee-key-no.) Here are my ratings for what my husband and I ate: Autumn Spritz - 4 stars - This spritz contained apple cider, Marie Brizard Apry, prosecco, and soda, and I liked its flavors. Smoked Provolone - 2 stars - Smoked provolone was topped with black truffles and arugula. Neither my husband nor I liked this appetizer. I took two bites, and he tried to eat half. Casa Salad - 4.5 stars - This salad consisted of mixed greens, roasted peppers, raisins, walnuts, olives, gorgonzola, and slightly too much vinaigrette. Caesar Salad - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this salad, and he said that it was his favorite food in the entire meal. Cavatappi Alla Vodka - 4 stars - My husband ate this pasta, and I took one bite, and I thought that it tasted good. Cacio E Pepe - 4 stars - Months ago at Alla Famiglia, we loved the locatelli romano cheese wheel at the tableside, so we felt excited to try it at Arlecchino. The waiter definitely mixed the linguini, cream, oil, and pepper in the cheese wheel. This cacio e pepe tasted good but not as great as what we remember from Alla Famiglia. Halibut - 3.5 stars - My main course was this special menu item. The halibut tasted bland but was served with black-tiger shrimp, carrots, tomatoes, zucchini, cauliflower, and butternut squash that added some nice flavors. I did not know the price for this fish until I saw the bill, and it was $72. Veal monzu - 4 stars - The veal was nicely breaded and fried and topped with mozzarella, jumbo lump blue crab, pine nuts, and lemon butter. My husband ate it, and my one taste-test bite indicated that it was flavorful. My husband was not interested in trying dessert, so we skipped it. Our total bill was $178 plus tax, tip, and a credit-card surcharge. Comparatively, I think that Alla Famiglia has significantly better food, but Arlecchino is worth a try.

That being said I wouldn't say this is life-changingly good Italian food, although it is very good. I'm writing this review because I arrived here with a friend at 2 PM on a Sunday, and was immediately told they could only seat us if we promised to be done by 3:45 because they needed the table then. I understand tables have to be held if reserved, but looking around this very large restaurant was only about 1/3 full if that. I also don't feel it's appropriate to communicate scheduling issues to the customer and make them my responsibility. I've never been given a time limit to eat at any restaurant, and from then on the vibes were off. Our server seemed annoyed with us too (maybe because we offered to order everything all at once in order to streamline things because we were told they needed the table) but was perfectly adequate at performing their job. It was a very strange and unwelcoming experience, and I would definitely recommend visiting one of their other locations instead.
