They have 2 offices on the same floor in the same building (both with signs that say "Wellish Abrams") and after checking in at the front desk we sat for an half hour but ten minutes past our appointment time someone called over from the other office and said I was in the wrong place and they had been searching all over for me assuming maybe I was stuck in the bathroom. It was quite a long time and lextensive process before we saw Dr Shah for about 3-5 minutes and he said I have a Vitreous Hemorrhage, it is very serious, and I need to see someone right away. I was referred to a retina specialist that was closed so I was told to call Desert Retina first thing the next day. The Wellish Abrams workers never faxed the referral with notes to Desert Retina so the operator at Desert Retina asked me to call Wellish Abrams and request they send the referral and notes. Wellish Abrams does not answer their phones, they employ an answering service which says they will try to get the request to Wellish Abrams within 24 hours. After 24 hours you must trust that the people who did not send the referral the first time will do it the next day. I do not understand why the process has to be such a circus, if you have an eye emergency why can't you go to one place and get all your medical needs accomplished? Southern Hills sent me to Wellish, which took 2 days, Wellish sent me to Desert Retina and didn't forward the referral and notes and meanwhile my eyeball is hemorrhaging. 3 doctors along the way stressed to me that my situation is an emergency and could result in blindness if not handled expeditiously.

The manager Laura is non existent and the scheduler Dahlia and is a robotic idiot. My follow-up appointment with Dr. Abrams was canceled. The idiot on the phone clearly had no clue what she was doing because she continued to place me on hold to ask someone else my questions due to not having the answers. She then told me to reach out to my insurance and ask them my questions, which I did. My insurance then confirmed they have paid Wellish just 2 weeks ago and have continued to do so. Wellish office staff have no idea what they are doing and DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS BELONGING TO THE CLINIC.

I was pretty nervous going in, and they were calm, reassuring, and supportive the whole time. They made me feel comfortable and confident when I needed it most. Doctor Rothman was just as incredible. Even though my flap had to be done twice because I was moving and nervous during surgery, he stayed completely calm and confident, which instantly relaxed me. Nothing felt rushed or stressful, and he handled everything with total professionalism and precision. The surgery itself was over before I realized it even started which was awesome and very relieving. For context, I went in seeing 21/50 and could only see 20/20 with glasses. The very next morning, I was already seeing 15/20 with zero blurriness. I honestly couldn't believe how clear everything was that fast. If you're thinking about LASIK and feeling nervous, this is the place to go. The staff, the doctor, and the results were all outstanding. Best decision I've made and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

The procedure took about 15 min, with Dr Nelson and in 3 days I was outside doing some strenuous activities that were probably not recommended lol. I went for my follow up 4 days later and I have near perfect vision. I'm so down for this and they did an excellent job. Would recommend for sure.

July of 2024, I had eye surgery on one of my eyes by Dr. Maurer (who is no longer working there.)…read moreDuring testing and my consultation leading up to this surgery he did not seem confident on if he would choose LASIK or PRK for me as mentioned in my medical documentation there would be a 60% chance of PRK and 40% chance of LASIK and he would not know until I was laying on the surgery table. I should have found this concerning as all the other surgeons I have had to see because of him have told me every surgeon knows beforehand which surgery to do. He opted for LASIK, which after a quick procedure I was seeing very well. However, after a week or so I knew something was wrong as my vision got slightly cloudy, and at my one-month checkup I found out the surgery had failed, and I had developed an epithelial ingrowth which would need to be operated on right away. So, the first week of September of 2024 I went in for surgery #2, where Dr. Maurer opened my LASIK flap to clean out the ingrowth and then reseal my cornea with the flap. Right after the surgery I knew something was very wrong, as my vision was extremely blurry and I could not make shapes out very well. He explained to me it would just take a few days and things would get better. I went to all my follow ups explaining to him my vision was not getting better at all, and that I have eye pain as migraines from my poor vision. Well after almost two months of ignoring me he finally admitted that the surgery did not go well and that a fold had been created in my flap causing distorted vision and pain as well as another epithelial ingrowth. He explained I would need a third surgery to attempt to smooth out the flap and clean out the ingrowth once more. Halloween of 2024, I went in for surgery #3 where during the surgery Dr. Maurer explained to me that although he is cleaning out the ingrowth, the flap more than likely cannot be smoothed out, and without a further word he removed the entire flap from my cornea. Now he explained I would never have another ingrowth. What he did not tell me would be the complications that would come after having an entire layer of my cornea removed. Two days after my surgery I visited the emergency room due to extreme pain and discomfort in my eye, fearing that something had gone wrong and Dr. Maurer would not give me anything for the pain. A few days later I started noticing my vision worsening, with streetlights and other bright lights becoming smeared and the presence of double vision. He told me it would go away and there would be nothing to worry about. It did not go away, and I ended up having to see another doctor at the office since Dr. Maurer left. I was given over to the care of Dr. Little at the same office who ran test after test to find out what the issue was, including several different eye drops he tested out on me. He diagnosed me with an astigmatism that had formed during the healing of my third surgery. This went on for over a month before he eventually gave up and recommended me to see a different corneal specialist at another clinic. Upon my visit to the new specialist the first week of February 2025, I was quickly diagnosed with not just an astigmatism, but an irregular astigmatism and told that because an entire layer of my cornea was removed it may be too thin to operate on and she refused to do so and said there is nothing that can be done to correct my vision with surgery. She sent me to an optometrist who gave me glasses; however, glasses do not work for an irregular astigmatism. So, we tried out scleral contact lenses which my insurance did not cover and cost thousands of dollars. These too did not help my vision, only helping slightly with the double vision. I am still being told there is no technology today that can help me, and that I will eventually need a corneal transplant later in life as I am too young now to have one. I still must use steroid eye drops, eye pressure drops, and lubricating drops every day because of the surgeries I had. Because of everything I had to go through, I missed weeks of work from all the surgeries where I was not getting paid to miss work. I was left with trauma and emotional/mental pain and suffering that I still live with to this day. And I must face each day knowing that I will never be able to see with that eye like I could before. I have had to change my lifestyle, as I can no longer drive at night due to the damage from the irregular astigmatism and how it affects low light settings and how I see light. I also have had to retract job applications and stop hiring processes for jobs that have vision requirements as I can no longer have my vision corrected. I live in fear that I may lose my job and must go on some form of disability in my early 30's just to make ends meet. NVSION Eye centers has never reached out to me to discuss my situation with me or even apologize for what I must go through each day. While I recognize that the original surgery was elective, a

He is very well qualified and I trust him (5+ Stars) Unfortunately NV Eye decided to perform a refraction during my initial eye exam. Apparently Medicare never covers this test and has denied the charge. NV Eye is billing me. I did not know that they would do this test nor, at the time, that it is not covered by Medicare. When I scheduled the appointment I made sure that they knew it was for a glaucoma-related exam. I have been having these exams, covered by Medicare, yearly since 2013. Online research reveals that refraction is for glasses/contact lens prescriptions. I did not receive or request such a prescription. I called NV Eye billing to discuss. The rep told me that because I signed the acceptance of financial liability form (the boiler plate form in the new patient pkg with the hippa info - basically that everyone must sign to get an appointment), I am responsible for the charge. I asked if there is an ABN - no, just this blanket form. She told me to call the medical office to discuss why this test was done on a Medicare beneficiary at all. She told me that her supervisor would call me. I called the office again and was sent straight to Billing. The supervisor has never called me. I do not know why NV Eye would perform an uncovered test as a part of a covered eye exam. I canceled my next appointment with Dr. Singh (6/8/26) because I cannot trust that they will not perform uncovered procedures without my permission. I am extremely disappointed, I was planning to schedule cataract surgery with Dr. Singh but cannot afford uncovered medical procedures. The telephone # that is provided by the owner in response to negative reviews is the general number I called to resolve this issue, 7028966043. I cannot continue to receive care from this company
