I was in Stockton on Business the Other day!!! Then I got a little Hangry !!!LoL!!! So I Checked My Yelp App and Sherman's Buffet 2 popped up!!! I haven't been to a Buffet in years!!!! So I rolled to Sherman's Buffet! Found it easily enough and Parked right out front!! Parking is Plentiful as they are Located in a Stripmall. I rolled in to Sherman's Buffet 2 to find out it is not a Buffet at all!!! No Buffet at All!!!! It's a To - Go Fast Food Restaurant!!! And That's It!!!!! Ok !!! Time to Adapt and Overcome!!!! The place is Popular it's a Chinese Fast Food Restaurant!!!! They keep their Food Stocked up in their Steam Tables!!!! There was a Line Out the Door!!!! I jumped in to the Line and waited!! The Line Moved Slow !!! The People in Line were buying Multiple Meals!!!!! LoL Finally it was my turn !!! I ordered the Vegetable Chow Mein , Sweet and Sour Pork And Mongolian Chicken Meal I also Bought 5 Boneless Fried Chicken Thighs!!! Servers were Attentive and Fast !!!! Very Efficient!!!! Prices are Post Biden definitely effected by inflation!!! My food cost $18 Dollars!!! On the higher end of the Price Spectrum!!! I ate the food and it was Tasty!!!! I would go again if I was in the Area!!! I keep my Pimp Hand Strong!!!

Big plates, juicy meat, and flavors hittin' every time. Chow mein stay fresh, and that sweet n' sour chicken

Sherman Buffet really understood the assignment juicy, fresh, and so satisfying. Pretty plates, full belly, no complaints.

    Metal in our Mongolian chicken

My family and I have been coming to Sherman's #2 for a while now and we are always happy with the service and the food however, after today we will not be going back. We ordered our usual but this time around we found ourselves dissapointed that we found metal in our Mongolian chicken. Yes, we have a child who could have ate this and things could've went horribly wrong. Unfortunatley my husband was the unlucky one who had to experience chewing down on metal in the middle of his meal. To Sherman's restaurant please be more careful and considerate when cooking for your customers.

The food is pretty good & they always have a long line. Today I ordered half chow mein (10/10) & fried rice (10/10) Mongolian chicken (8/10) , & sweet & sour chicken(8/10) with a side of salt & pepper shrimp ( 4/10)

Fried chicken, salt pepper chicken, & orange chicken

I just went here today for the first time, I've only ever had the Sherman that's on Thornton. The food I got today was super fresh and delicious and they don't skimp on the Portions here. I got two 4 items plates both with half chow mein half fried rice then I got the salt and pepper chicken, fried chicken, orange chicken & some bbq pork looking item but I think it was chicken. The service was good and they were friendly. They also have dine-in if you want to do the buffet. I'd definitely go back again just based on the food I had today since it was hot & fresh.

    Piece of metal in meal

Come here all the time, unfortunately today I found this piece of metal in my kung pao chicken food is good Though just scared of what could have happened if I didn't bite down on it first

I am extra annoyed and disgusted to find bugs in my won ton soup. Like, livid! Many bugs. I called and let them know, they said sometimes bugs are in the bok choy.. They asked me to bring it back & they'll credit/refund me back but the drive is not worth how my mood will be when I get there. Never again!

Prices here are super cheap, the workers are friendly, and it usually isn't too busy. The food is on par with your usual Chinese takeout, and you can't beat the price. Selection isn't the biggest, but it should be enough for a few plates

Any four Items (Combo): Chow mein, Orange chicken, Teriyaki chicken, Salt & Pepper chicken

Is this a good restaurant for vegetarians?

Their noodles doesn't have any meat, they also have friend shrimp, spring rolls with no meat, and fried green beans with no meat. Everything else is meat or has meat in it.

There…read morearen't a lot of great Chinese buffet options in the area, so I came in with reasonable expectations, and this place exceeded them. Before I get into the review, I think it's only fair to mention that I rate buffets differently than traditional restaurants. My expectations are based on other buffets, where freshness, consistency, food rotation, and value matter just as much as presentation. This feels more like a small, family-owned neighborhood buffet than a large commercial chain, and I actually think that's part of its charm. The buffet isn't huge, but I'd rather have a smaller selection that's done well than a massive buffet where half the food has been sitting under heat lamps for hours. I sampled most of the buffet, and overall I was impressed. My favorite dishes were the beef chow fun noodles, chow mein, honey pork, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and the spicy chicken wings. The wings were especially good, they were nice and meaty with a great flavor and weren't loaded with fat like buffet wings sometimes are. Other solid choices were the sweet and sour pork, broccoli beef, and fried green beans. The only items that didn't really stand out to me were the vegetable egg rolls and crab rangoons. They weren't bad by any means, just average compared to the rest of the buffet. One thing that really stood out was how well the buffet was maintained. A staff member was constantly cleaning, rotating trays, and refilling food, so everything stayed warm and fresh throughout my visit. I never came across anything that was cold or looked like it had been sitting for a long time. The soda station was clean, drinks were self-serve, and the staff was friendly whenever I interacted with them. Most of the customers seemed to be ordering takeout rather than dining in, and after seeing the portions, I completely understand why. The takeout containers were packed so full they were almost difficult to close. For the price, the value here is outstanding. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars comes down to presentation. The dining room itself is clean, but it's very simple. From the drink station you can see directly into part of the kitchen, and the plumbing underneath the soda and ice machine is exposed, which makes the restaurant feel less polished. I didn't see anything that made me question the cleanliness or food safety; it was more of an aesthetic issue than a sanitation concern, but it does affect the overall atmosphere. That said, when I judge this place as a buffet rather than comparing it to a full-service restaurant, the food quality, freshness, service, and value easily outweigh those cosmetic issues. Would I come back? Absolutely. If you're looking for an affordable Chinese buffet with consistently fresh food, friendly staff, generous portions, and flavors that honestly surprised me, M Kitchen Buffet is definitely worth checking out.

They have a bar, which is the best place to get a seat so you can be in front of the sushi conveyor. Husband ordered the tuna handroll, seems like it is not placed in the conveyor. You do not pay extra for it but you can tip. Sushi rolls tasted good, but the protein on top is really thin. I felt I was eating mostly rice with sauce or imitation crab. Protein on nigiri was thin as well. I'm unsure if getting a couple of nigiri and combining the protein while ignoring the other portion of rice would be a good resolution to this as the rice will be wasted. Aside from the fried shrimp and fried chicken wings, I did not enjoy the cooked selection. They have ice cream. You basically go to the freezer and grab your own with a scooper. It was unappetizing because the scooper is dipped in water which did not appear clean. This is understandable though, as you were supposed to dip the scooper in the water to rinse it off so the flavor does not get mixed with the other. Unclear water is just not a good sight to see in a restaurant.

The car show happened to take place in the same parking lot as K-Town, so we just decided to have dinner here instead of sitting in the drive-thru line at In-N-Out. The inside is modernly lit with lots of wood motif and black. Oversized lightbulbs filled with faux flower petals hang from the ceiling. A random cartoon plays on the wall TV. For a weekday dinner bbq, we paid about $37 per person with no additional hot pot add-on. We got a good spread of drinks (they have boba!), but they are also an additional cost. The AYCE includes access to the buffet area, which has sushi (sashimi!), buffalo wings, seafood boil, a bunch of fried/breaded offerings, and all the sauces/accoutrements for both hotpot and kbbq. I was impressed by the short rib marinade here. The beef was meaty with a good texture. Some of the cubed meats were a little tough but could be due to the way we cooked it. The pork belly was sliced too thin for my liking (too bacony). We got the cheese sticks from the buffet and reheated them over the grill and made our own version of a Chili's Triple Dipper. Service was fine. We placed our orders with a guy and he would come around occasionally for a grill change and taking away plates.
