I've never felt compelled to leave a review this negative, but this experience genuinely earned it. I've lived in this neighborhood for years and have never had a salon visit this consistently poor. From the start, there was an uncomfortable level of focus on tipping, including repeated questions about how I planned to tip and signage promoting a "20% service tip." Tipping is optional and should never be pressured, particularly while the service itself is still underway and clearly not meeting expectations. More so, you are rewarded for good surface with a tip: not there to be reminded about tip when your surface actually sucks. I walked in on a Tuesday night around 630 and it was busy, if you could not take me before you closed at eight that's on you. What isn't on me is a rushed, incomplete surface where you even ignored a phone call to ask multiple times if I was "tipping in cash." Again, huh? I got a manicure and pedicure and while the manicure sucked it was worlds better than the latter. The pedicure itself was unacceptable. I paid for a full pedicure with add-ons and did not even receive a basic level of care. My feet were left stiff and unfinished, and my toenails were uneven and poorly shaped. This was a general service being provided as laughably, the woman next to me was just as frustrated. At one point, the customer next to me became so frustrated with the lack of proper filing that she had to ask for the file herself after repeated failed attempts by the technician. The polish application was equally poor. Coverage was incomplete, with sections of my nails left unpainted and others sloppily coated. By the time I left, the result was visibly uneven, with rough edges, chopped polish, and nails that hadn't been properly smoothed or finished. Fast forward the next day? My manicure is chipped (this isn't even normal wear and tear) and my feet are still rough. For $78 plus tip, this is unacceptable. I felt so visibly uncomfortable from start to finish. There are far better salons nearby that provide basic professionalism and competent service. I would not return and would not recommend this place to anyone expecting even standard quality. Oh and the $10 tip I left? I listened to it scrutinized for being "cheap." What was cheap was your service and I felt so uncomfortable to leave one because you literally harassed me the entire time. Go elsewhere. read more

I'm very disappointed of the final product and the price they give us. I asked a very simple nail style, I showed the photo of the nails I wanted to the technician, nothing special just a simple white color little longer than my actual length semi square shaped nails. First I thought he will use some extension butterflies but he simply put a hard gel on my nails and top of that just colored gel. Even they misunderstood my request (fine!) but Please tell me why it cost me $110/(115 were charged on my card) dollars plus mandatory tip? For a gel?! No extensions? (On the wall the price was $90 btw.. ) The Total was 137 dollars! He didn't paint the nails all the way up to the cuticles, didn't remove the cuticles properly. Literally removed nothing. My sister asked ombré style nails which they charged extra $25 top of the $110 and got a simple French tip put some hard gel and some bs on the top. For her it cost $155!!!! Again, for what?! We feel totally scammed out of our money. Waste of time and money. Hopefully my loss is your gain. Do not recommend this place! Answer your comment: No, you did not told the price on the phone, if you did we probably find someone cheaper! We were informed about the pricing when we were already sitting at the table. If you go to a professional nail tech you will be good here - Kennis or Sofie are great! I recently had a terrible experience. Got a manicure that she must have used the wrong base coat or something because my nails would not dry after an hour at the salon- they were tacky to the touch. She redid them but again the coat looked off. It chipped the next day and even worse the second day. Will not be back due to this! Management was not pleasant either. read more

For my first set, she created a gorgeous wavy black and gold French design that turned out even better than I imagined. Three weeks later, I came back for a fill and she gave me a stunning transparent blue French look that's just as flawless. The salon is clean, welcoming, and the vibe is super relaxing. I am so picky when it comes to my nails and Nana was by far one of the best nail technicians I've ever been to!! She paid attention to every detail of my nails, took her time, was so gentle with cutting my cuticles, and she checked for my approval on everything: shape, French tip thickness, everything!! Came to shero for their grand opening promo and now I have a new go to nail spot! The place is spotless and the people are so nice and attentive. So I have been here a few times, for pedicure it's okay. Taxed but it does the job. When it comes to nails I do not recommend at all. I got the most basic powder nails SHORT and it was 94$ before tax.This to me is taxed beyond belief for what I got. Like not design, no add ons, plain powder nails. The nail salon is very cute and clean. They were able to schedule me as a walk-in, which I really appreciated. I got the Gel X nails as recommended by them. They did a great job with setting the nails and base color. However, I am disappointed with the nail art. I did not ask for anything complicated or abstract. I just asked for a simple flower pattern. I can see that they were putting in a lot of effort and attention to detail, but the execution just wasn't there :( I'd be willing to give them another chance, as I can see in their reviews that they're capable of doing flower nail art beautifully. The receptionist that was working there on 11/ 14/24 wasn't professional at all. She stood right next to me the whole time, talking loudly in Chinese and laughing in a way that felt really out of place and made me and other customers uncomfortable. I stopped in yesterday and I had a wonderful experience! I got gel-x (it ran $90 with a price add of of $3-$4 for 'The Gel Bottle' polish). The prices were a little more expensive than I am used to, but comparable to other salons in the area. Zhang, was very attentive and helped me choose out my colors and was extremely knowledgable. He checked in with me multiple times through my service to make sure the color and shape were to my liking. He even made recommendations when one color I had chosen was too sheer. I got a UV gel fill in and after 1 day my nails started chipping. I have been getting UV gel for 2+ years and have never experienced chipping (unless I had trauma to my nails or the set was over due for a fill). The UV gel was incredibly thin, and felt almost like regular gel... Incredibly disappointing considering service is $140 just to get an incredibly basic pedicure along with your nails (which also did not last). Will not be returning. read more

I started coming here about a year ago for a dip manicure and was super impressed with the salon. I always got amazing service and my nails always lasted over two weeks. I Started bringing friends with me every two weeks because I was so impressed with this salon. The past 3 times I have gone there recently have not been so enjoyable. My nails either had to be redone the same day or chipped immediately after leaving the salon. I went back once to have them redone and then they chipped again the next day. When I called to tell them that my manicure had chipped for a second time after being redone, the manager didn't offer anything to compensate for it. When it was time to get my nails redone I decided to try a different place and it took them an hour to get the black dip off my nails because the girl had dipped my nails so many times. It was even still all over my skin from two weeks ago because she didn't know what she was doing and stained my skin. Not to mention, every single one of my friends had a similar issue. Bad pedicure. Completely misshaped my nail essentially setting me up for ingrowns on both toes. The woman sitting next to me was also visibly in pain and bleeding from getting her cuticles cut at one point and the pedicurist didn't seem to really care. 10/10 would not go here again. read more

I got a dip manicure and a regular pedicure. The dip powder chipped less than 24 hours after the appointment. They fixed it for me at no charge, but then other nails starting to pop off days later. I had the polish on for less than 2 weeks and 3 nails had already completely popped off. Even though they said dip lasted 2 to 3 weeks, mine didn't make it to two and they will only guarantee one week no chips. I won't be coming back. read more

It took a long time and the work was sloppy. My feet while definitely a little rougher than I normally keep them, the woman working on me cut my feet while doing the callous remover. The manicure took a long time and it pooled at my nail beds and was not smooth. I asked her to clean it up and she did a little but told me it would look better after she put on the aftercoat.
