Great lunch!! First we were served delicious buttermilk biscuits- warm, soft, excellent! I had a blue cheese, bacon, fruit, and chicken salad which was huge and excellent. In fact I just now enjoyed the other half of my salad for dinner. The staff was friendly and quite attentive. The dining room is small, but cute. If you are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by this gem of a restaurant. It was difficult to chose based on all the decadent options. The pancakes were as big as the plates, the home made cinnamon roll was by far the best I have ever had. I had the "buffito" with the green sauce. Wow!!!!! Perfect level of spice and packed full of eggs, bacon and hash browns. I usually put hot sauce on everything but didn't want to ruin the flavor. We also got the chicken fried biscuits and gravy. We got a tip from a local that this was a great place to eat downtown. All in all it wasn't a bad tip, but it wasn't a great one either. We had trouble finding parking, as nothing is really marked once you leave the immediate downtown area, so we opted to backtrack to marked parking and walk. We went at lunch and it was packed. We waited for a table for a bit, and eventually took one end of a six person table, which at least gave the next group of two a place to sit as well. Asked the server what they recommended and she stole a glance at the specials board before saying how much she liked the burritos (the daily special, save 30 cents). We opted against that and ordered a couple of burgers. My mushroom and cheese burger was okay, nothing spectacular. My wife's BBQ and cheese burger was barely that. If it's a BBQ and cheese burger you should put plenty of sauce on it, not a half-dollar sized drop. My fries were overcooked, so I left most of them on the plate. Overall, I'm sure there are some good dishes on the menu, but they really need to work on those fries and the condiment allocation on the burgers. read more

Passing through town and based on reviews found a gem. Definitely a local place with no pretenses other than friendly sevice and great food. Had a skillet breakfast with potatoes. As usual everything was outstanding. With COVID everything has been made more difficult and Sherri's is doing a great job.

A gem! We stopped by on our way to Yellowstone and this place was a great choice for some yummy food and great service. We got there at around 11am and they had stopped serving breakfast already (kinda weird to us Californians), but lunch was delicious regardless. We had some burgers that were so big my husband couldn't even finish his. Service was amazing, very friendly and effective. This place is amazing! Not only is the food delicious but the service is exceptional as well. We were welcomed by Sherrie, the owner, at the door very warmly and offered a table even though just then we heard word that a BLM protest was organizing in less than an hour. We were served graciously by the owner's son and employee who were very helpful and timely. Among our family of five, we pretty much tried everything...omelette s, pancakes, biscuits, and of course the homemade cinnamon roll which were all truly delicious! I can see why the locals are loyal supporters of Sherrie's place...the locals showed up stacked w arms just to support and protect the place...they definitely won our tastebuds over and next time we are passing through, we will make sure to eat here again. Everything is good at sherries as long as you can find a seat. It does get busy and for a reason. Both breakfast and lunch are great, maybe legendary. Personal service by staff that has been there for a long Time is so nice. The green chili is amazing as well as other homemade soups and pies. The dinner rolls at lunch will make you drool and French fries seriously great. Only two issues, don't sit by the front door during the winter or windy days and I'm still trying to convince them to open on Saturdays. There's a reason they were on food network. Every time my family comes here the food is always good. The portions are very generous and you can always share a plate with someone else. This time we had the special, a meatball sub with cheese, soup (white chili), and lays potato chips. I definitely could have shared! Pros: 1. The meatballs tasted homemade and and there was a lot of sauce. 3. The white chili was thick and very good! 4. The wait staff is always friendly and talked to us at our booth. This place makes me wish I lived in Wyoming. The chicken fried steak was bigger than my face. The hash browns were crisp. The pancake was textbook. Somehow even the eggs were special. You better be damn hungry when you come here for a breakfast burrito. This thing was massive and the green chile actually has a good amount of heat, not the weak ass, green gravy that other places throw down. This place is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in Casper if I can get in. They have limited hours during the week (just breakfast and lunch) and they aren't open on the weekends. I absolutely love the atmosphere. It is so homey and it feels like a small town diner. The service is always phenomenal and I've never had a bad meal. Their serving sizes are great, I fill up and still have leftovers to take home. All of their breads and desserts are made in house I heard and I can't help but order a dessert even if I'm stuffed. I can't say enough good things about this place. I always try to get in there whenever I visit Casper. read more

I am up here for work in Casper all the time and this is my go to place for breakfast I love starting my day off here. They are always so incredibly nice and accommodating. Everything I have ever ordered has been excellent. I often get homemade cinnamon rolls for my clients or get a piece of pie to take home to my wife. The staff and the food are so inviting. I travel alone every week and this place is full of smiles. I love starting my day off here and seeing all the familiar faces. I have met some of the kindest people ( both who work here or dining here ) in Casper at this establishment. A true gem that has accepted me as one of their own.
