Servings are large, and service is always friendly. The space will be loud, and you should probably expect a short wait for a table to open up. This place is quaint and friendly. Blink and you might drive right by the place. Breakfast portions are very generous; especially the biscuits and gravy. I haven't been super impressed with Casper by wow this place is fantastic ATMOSPHERE: once a house this place has such a cutesie, lil country down home breakfast vibe THE FOOD: I got a veggie omelet w hash browns coffee and a pancake and it all was fantastic, it came out super fast and I was surprised that I got all of it for just under 11 dollars ! Shirley & I decided to grab some breakfast grub and have some 'girl talk'. We ordered coffee right away. Good and Strong, in big mugs. For my breakfast, I ordered some DYNAMITE chorizo sausage, a very fluffy Cheese Omelette, and an order of hash browns which were the BOMB. Golden brown & a little crispy. Delish! Also a fluffy biscuit came with it. YUMMO! Shirley had pancakes & bacon. You should have seen the size of those hot cakes! I have to say portions are large. Prices are very affordable. PRO's: Sherrie's place is hands down the best breakfast spot in Casper. A hidden gem that is known only to the locals. Small and cozy with really good service. The food is affordable and the portions are HUGE! It is downtown, so lunch can be busy. It's busy for a reason. And that dipsh*t whining about parking, c'mon, gimme a break there is ample room to park in the lot between Wyoming Stationary and A1 tire, the best tire shop in town, btw. We used to come to Sherrie's a lot, but schedule changes cut this breakfast treat back. Today, we had an opening in our lives and stopped in. We usually get the white chili breakfast burritos. They are amazing! But, today we chose pork free options. The corned beef hash was fresh and delicious. The chicken fried steak skillet became my new favorite! As someone who comes from a place where everything is fried and breakfast is where you bring your A game. I was hesitant on finding anything west of the Mississippi that could match momma's biscuits. Well lawd let me tell you something, Sherrie has got it on lock. Hash brown heaven and eggs....if you like sunny side up then you need to go there today. The home style little "hole in the wall" establishment is the best around. I cannot wait to visit again and wish we had the opportunity to have breakfast there every day. We were on our way through, meeting family for lunch. Found this gem on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. The food was like it came from my grandma's kitchen, with huge servings and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We looked up this place on google and drove to downtown after camping at the KOA. It is a small place with tons of charm. We didn't have to wait for a table, but right after we came in it got super crowded. Kids had pancakes- giant and delicious!! Hubby had eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. Found this place on Yelp and decided to try it based on the awesome reviews. Their portions are huge so my husband and I split the chicken fried steak. We let the waitress know that we would be splitting our meal and she had the cook split it for us. My husband had the soup that came with it and I got what was supposed to be a side salad. The salad was probably a half a head of lettuce and it had cheese and pineapple on it. Pineapple? I would have never put pineapple on my salad but it wasn't bad. I had a bit of buyer's remorse in regards to the salad. I had asked the price before hand and was told she "thought" it was 2.99, but we were charged 3.99 for what was mostly lettuce. On top of that I only had a few bites. We didn't complain though because the whole bill came to less than $16 and neither of us walked away hungry. My husband and I split the fries that came with the meal and those were good. Neither my husband nor I cared for the corn, it was a little mushy. Again, we had plenty to eat and didn't complain. Our servers were some of the best we've had and we would definitely eat there again if we lived in the area, but we were just traveling thru. Wow! Our family uses Yelp to find places to eat as we travel. Usually there is one place that stands out. That place is Sherri's. I had the cabbage rolls, and they were awesome. The bread was all homemade and delicious. The place was full, which is no surprise given the quality of the food. We ordered a slice of rhubarb pie, and our kind server offered us some bread pudding. As a breakfast staple in Casper this cute lil spot never disappoints. We came in right at 11am (when they stop serving breakfast) and were told we could still eat breakfast! My friends and I love coming here! The service is awesome and the food is down home cooking so the food tastes great. Whenever we come here we always get the chocolate mint cookie shakes, they do not hold back on these bad boys because they are HUGE! I was on my way north to Gardiner, MT when my car broke down and I was in Casper for two days. The car shop recommended me to Sherrie's so I went. Thought I would try this place out. I have followed a few people and their reviews to other places and they hit this one. The coffee is great no bitterness. The portions are huge, better have your hunger on. The pancakes were good not belly bombs like most places. Hashbrowns were browned right a little greasy but not bad. Probably the best place in Casper to get a home-cooked meal. Their fries are amazing (and hand-cut), love their burgers and soups...I've never had a bad experience. Dry over cooked puck called a burger with fries that were way to well done (brown and like pertrfied wood).... The parking issues are not great to begin with but though it is not their fault the construction makes it so you have to park a ways away and wlk to them. WILL NOT GO BACK IT SUCKED read more
