There were some drips of paint on the outside label so I thought I would see if that was enough for a color match. I didn't want to take a square off the wall itself, if I could avoid it. I went to Benjamin Moore first because that was the brand. I was told they take 24 hours to color match and I probably didn't have enough of a sample on the can's label. Perfectly pleasant sales associate, but I didn't want to wait a day. I decided to go to my local Lafayette Kelly Moore. I've got to tell you that the manager, Renee, was so nice! I asked her how long a color match would take and she said since there were a couple of jobs ahead of me, it would be 2 hours. Not bad! I showed her my sorry can of paint and she confirmed that it wasn't enough of a sample to color match. I told her I was just going to pick a match from their sample wall. Before I could take a step, Renee volunteered to take a scan for me and see if she came up with anything. In just a minute she had a computer suggested match. I was so glad! I was walking out of the store within 10 minutes with a fresh gallon of Kelly Moore and it looked perfect on my wall. I really appreciated Renee's knowledge and patience. She was very proactive in assisting me for just one little can of paint.

Needed to change out my old shower hardware to newer. Was told by every store (Home Depot, Lowe's)…read morewhat they had would work. Wrong! Had to take it all back. Then I went to General Plumbing and talked to Joe. He was wonderful. Knowledgeable. And knew exactly what I needed. He explained how to remove the old handle and put new one on. And it worked! I did it! Didn't cost me $200 for a plumber. A few screws and it just slipped right on. Wow! Please save your sanity, and go talk to Joe first. He'll help you and steer you in the right direction!
